I checked here on Yelp and and found Miguel and all of his 5-star ratings and had him come over and give me an estimate. I gave him the job and his team did incredible work. A lot of my old paint was in rough shape. Their prep was awesome, the board repairs turned out great and they put two coats of paint on the whole house and trim. Everything turned out better than my expectations...check out the pictures! I did get second quote from another highly rated company on Yelp... their estimate was THOUSANDS more than Miguel's. It still looks really terrific as they…read morespent considerable time sanding and priming the redwood exterior and then were quite careful in applying just the right amount of paint. Those are the basics...but the stunning part was the dramatic change that the house (ranch-style) made from blaaahhhish pink to stunning green on green. With a purple door, brown eaves and cream window sashes. All chosen by Michael who *does* know his colors! At the time, we were the only green house in the neighborhood. Now every other house is a similar color. Imitation being (I've heard) a form of flattery. Next time we paint...I'm asking Michael to do it in orangy-mango. With purple trim. And a mural by the*Sniff* brothers on the southside of the house by the street. We'll see *who* copies who!!! Note to readers: *Sniff* is the team of muralists who painted the wall at the Albany Bulb. You can see some of their art at Eclectix Gallery reviewed by me on Yelp about a year ago.
