I recently renovated the exterior of my home inclusive of replacing the window sashes. On the exterior, Edgar's team was able to strip off all the old layers of paint and identify any dry rot or damage areas of the exterior. After repairs were performed my contractors crew, Edgar's crew primed and painted the home. We recently bought a remodeled house in San Francisco. We made a change to the heating system that ended up with some drywall needing repair and we also did other changes to the house, including painting the under-cabinets white and painting the bathrooms with eggshell paint (they were painted with flat paint by the flipper, which is a really bad idea for a bathroom). Edgar Baran was recommended to us by our builder. He is an extremely friendly guy with an excellent crew of painters. They did everything on really short notice and with a very high level of craftsmanship. He won't compromise on sanding surfaces smooth first, for example. I'm a big fan of good craftsmanship and this suits me well. (unfortunately, not always a given in San Francisco.) His team works until the job is done, even if it takes working into the evening. He also did some minor repairs we came across while on site. Really great motivation. They are probably not the cheapest painters you can find but - in my view - they are worth it since they deliver and are very flexible when you need them. I can highly recommend them. read more

Baran Painting has just completed our project at 310 Otsego Avenue, a mid century mixed use building with commercial/residential cornering Ocean Avenue, after having used them with satisfaction on some previous residential projects in Mission Terrace. The building was in an advanced state of disrepair and Edgar and his crew have brought the building back to life. We conducted a window replacement on the upper levels along with removing vinyl siding on the back wall of the property that had created a lot of water damage to the underlying stucco. Edgar helped connect us with a network of others to help with the Windows and Stucco/Roof repairs along with organizing scaffolding and permits given it is a 3 level building.
