I have mixed feelings about this place. I came here to watch the World Cup final, and as an Argentinian, the atmosphere immediately made me feel at home. The energy, the people, and the excitement reminded me so much of my country. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary. Because of the large crowd, they offered a fixed menu that included short ribs (asado), chicken, chorizo, blood sausage (morcilla), and Russian potato salad. It wasn't bad at all, but it could have been better. The biggest disappointment was the asado--the portions were quite small, and the meat was a bit overcooked. The service, however, was very good considering the circumstances. The place was absolutely packed, with people everywhere, yet the staff handled the chaos well and kept everything moving as smoothly as possible. Overall, it was a fun experience, mostly because of the incredible atmosphere. As an Argentinian, sharing such a special match with so many fellow fans made the day unforgettable.

This place is opened on Tuesdays! Apple maps says it isn't but I happen to swing by on a Tuesday and they were opened. The place was completely empty, likely because of it. I told their staff but they haven't seemed to have changed it. They had pizzas half off too! Not sure if that's every Tuesday but it was a great deal. I would go again just cause of that. The server was also attentive and very kind. The spot has a nice cozy vibe. Overall, Amarone is a solid spot with savory pasta and pizzas. Definitely worth checking out (go on Tuesdays for a great deal on pizza).

You have to try this place and thank me later. I have visited it several times now. I have tried many different dishes, e. g. pasta Carbonara, focaccia, pizza, and pasta Bolognese, among others, and all of them are worth trying. They have a cute robot that delivers the food to your table and that is awesome! The ambiance is pretty and casual. They have plenty of space for making large parties/socials. And their service is pretty fast and attentive. 100% worth trying!!

The pizza is AMAZING!!!! The service is AMAZING as well. I for sure will be back. I appreciate the ambiance and the quality of food I ate. The people are always smiling and pleasant .... We came here on a Saturday night and were surprised to find it completely empty but decided to stay and give it a shot. So glad we did!!! Everything was excellent, from the service and cleanliness to the food. We started with complementary focaccia (a really nice touch) then order the meatballs, which were delicious! The carbonara was rich and creamy, and the chicken parm was packed with flavor, definitely a standout. Portions were generous and perfect for sharing, and they were very flexible with the choices of sides and sauces. Shoutout to Amir, our server, super attentive and welcoming throughout the night. We will be planning to come back with the family. Hopefully next time we'll catch a live performance!

This was a surprise as we were looking for a Argentinian/Italian Restaurant that would serve Cannelloni and this Restaurant popped up. It didn't not have the cannelloni but what we ended up eating was delicious to say the least. The service was superb, the attention we received was amazing. Cannot complain about the ambiance as is very inviting. They have the modern Robot that brings your food and sings you Happy Birthday...what else can you ask for. By the way great Pizza and their Tiramisu is very homemade. 5 stars all around for this place. A must to visit

Firstly this restaurant has multiple numbers listed on different websites. I called the wrong number to make reservation, not realizing that I didn't need one. The number Google maps has Apple Maps and yelp are all different. The girl the answered the phone seemed like a child pranking us. We went for my husbands birthday, as he loves Italian food. The food was okay. It did not blow me away enough to come back. The restaurant was empty when we got there and there was only 1 person working and she was busting her ass serving all the tables. The owner was helping but you could tell he was lost and didn't know how to do things. The decor and the music was great but the food as I mentioned was just okay. I had their famous pear stuffed pasta with chicken and it was good but overpriced. My husband had the carbonara and again it was okay. Something was missing. The bread was okay. Missing salt. The wine was good! Dessert- the tiramisu was good. This place has potential they are just severely understaffed, or they were last night and they need more seasoning in their food. I do not think I would go back to eat dinner but maybe tiramisu and wine.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I drive by this place all the time, and I was a little skeptical when they claim to be real Italian food in Aventura. But it totally delivered! I was also so pleasantly surprised by the vegan options they have on the menu many authentic Italian restaurants don't call that out on the menu and you have to ask for accommodations. I ordered the minestrone soup which was fantastic and a huge portion. I could've done with just the soup. The fresh bread was absolutely delicious and hot straight out of the pizza oven. For my main dish, I ordered the vegan Bolognese pasta, which was so delicious! Their sauce was excellent and had the perfect amount of sweetness which I was surprised by because the menu stated they don't add any sugar. This means they make their sauce with high-quality. My friend got the Caesar salad which she loved and a pepperoni pizza prepared right next to us in the oven. They have a roaming robot called "Bella" which I thought it was so cute and unexpected. I have never seen one of these devices before but the staff also seemed excited about it and happy that patrons thought it was cool. I spoke with the manager on the way out and we talked about how great the quality of the food was, and he shared how much he cared about his customers and the experience, which I really appreciated. I will be back from more Veganese!

I feel in love with this place! I planned my work holiday dinner here last minute and the manager Emir was so helpful and friendly since we spoke on the phone. On the night of the event everything was amazing, the serves was super nice and the food was fresh and delicious, every guest commented on how good the food was! Also the wines were super good and I tried Amarone Red Wine for the first time, don't miss it!

The bar is run by two Argentinian women who were awesome. Very sweet. I just had one drink because came from a happy hour so was already primed. I ordered the popular Argentine drink which is Fernet with Coke which is usually in the proportion of 70/30 but these girls have a heavy pour so more like 60/40. I also ordered empanadas which were delicious!! I had a Malbec meat empanada and a cheese and onion one. Unfortunately I live far from this place but if I lived close, it would definitely be a great place to hang out on weekends. Enjoy!! Ps. I came with my American friend who does live in the area and loved both the Argentinian people's vibe and the bar's vibe. He said he will be back on his own.

The restaurant was practically empty, which should have been the first warning sign. We started by ordering drinks. The menu listed more than five beers, yet they only had two available because, according to them, their freezer was broken. Fine, things happen. We then ordered a Moscow Mule, only to be told they couldn't make it because they aren't a full bar. Understandable. Next, we asked for an Aperol Spritz. They didn't have that either. Finally, hoping they could at least make a simple mojito, we ordered one--only to be told they didn't have mint leaves. At that point, it was almost laughable. Then the food arrived. They served old bread that wasn't even warm. We ordered two appetizers: the garlic shrimp, which was just average, and the tuna tiradito. The tuna tiradito was easily the worst I've ever had. The presentation was terrible. The tuna looked like it had been cut with a dull rock instead of a sharp knife. The sauce was supposed to have fresh lemon and truffle oil, but it tasted like bottled fake lemon juice with some strange black paste dumped on top. It was completely unappetizing. (I'll attach a photo so you can judge for yourself.) The most frustrating part came when the waitress asked if everything was okay. We politely explained our concerns, including all the issues with the drinks and the food. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, she argued with us and became defensive. Customer service is about solving problems, not debating with your guests. Overall, this was an awful dining experience from beginning to end. I genuinely don't understand how this restaurant has a 4.8-star rating with over a thousand reviews because it certainly didn't reflect the experience we had. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about the quality of its food and service.

The cornbread (Humita de la Abuelita) was sweet, moist, and the smoked palo santo butter gave it the perfect balance. The Crudo Salsero came with an incredible sauce -- beautifully balanced. But the ceviche was the standout: honestly the best I've ever had. The acidity was dialed in exactly right, which is rare -- most ceviches miss that mark. What really got me was the precision in the knife work; everything was cut so consistently that every bite blended perfectly. I didn't have high expectations for the tortellinis, but they surprised me -- the sweet plantain filling paired with a crispy parmesan for the perfect hit of salt against the sweetness. Closing on a dessert that matches a meal like this is hard, but the Chocopop pulled it off. Deep, strong cacao, sea salt flakes for balance, and the passion fruit sorbet added just the right bitter-sweet edge to finish. Cotoa keeps raising the bar with every visit. Highly recommend.

In fact, as my wife and I were walking in on our most recent visit, I was commenting that this would be a great place to bring out-of-town guests. Unfortunately, that opinion changed by the end of the evening. When the bill arrived, we learned that the corkage fee had increased from $25 to $35 without any notice. We politely explained that we were longtime customers who had always paid the longstanding $25 fee, but management was unwilling to make any accommodation or honor the previous rate. The increase itself did affect our perception. While $10 may not seem like a large amount, it represented a significant percentage jump for a neighborhood bistro, and it shifted the overall value equation for us in a noticeable way. What made it more frustrating is that a corkage fee increase feels different from a menu price adjustment. Rising food, labor, and operating costs can justify higher menu prices, but a corkage fee is simply a charge for opening and serving a bottle the customer brings in. Increasing it 40% without notice felt excessive, especially for a casual neighborhood restaurant rather than a high-end dining establishment. At $35, the corkage fee no longer feels aligned with the restaurant's positioning or value. Combined with the lack of transparency and the unwillingness to honor a long-standing rate for loyal customers, it meaningfully changed how we view the restaurant. The food was still very good, as it has been on previous visits. However, the overall experience left a sour taste. As a result, my wife and I won't be returning, and we will no longer recommend Silverlake Bistro to friends, family, or out-of-town visitors. That's a shame, because this was once one of the best reasonably priced neighborhood restaurants in the area. A relatively small change, handled differently, could have preserved our loyalty. Instead, it cost the restaurant two regular customers and future word-of-mouth recommendations.
