When I was finally able to reschedule it was for weeks ahead no confirmation was sent or reminder and when I tried calling again no one answers the phone. I missed appointment and asked owner to reschedule she refused and stated "I need to respect their time" as you can see through her instagram she talks very badly about customers and is not understanding. If you just had surgery of course your going to struggle to get up and go to appointments your body is weak and recovering. I wouldn't recommend this place for someone who has gotten surgery and needs services. Owner has no customer service skills. She sends reminders to customers she likes and discriminates against others. My sister and I will not be returning and I hope you think twice before paying a non refundable deposit to a person who is unwilling to work with you. As Jasmine points out. She has a scheduling reminders however she only sets it up for certain clients. I did not receive any reminders or confirmations. And she has no one working her phones so, you can call and call and no one will answer. How can a client reschedule or cancel in time? Instead of being the bigger person and admitting this mistake Jasmine chose to keep the deposit and give no service to myself or my sister. Be aware she wants to keep your deposit and makes fun of clients on instagram who call to inquire about this. I don't find it funny that women that come to get a service to enhance or feel better about their bodies are being made fun of because they were unable to make an appointment. When many of these women are recovering and May not have as much support as they need. Moreover, things that may come up during this pandemic. You will find customer service to be an important part of being a small business owner and with the attitude you have towards clients not sure you will be for long. So I asked my trusty google and found Hair on the Hudson, called them right away. The owner Joe answered the phone, so pleasant and accommodating, made an appt same day I wanted to get my hair cut. My GF also made an appointment, and we showed up Fridau at 10 when they opened. What a clean, stylish and comfortable salon. Joe was flying solo, masked and armed with a thermometer and covid questionnaire. Made me feel safe. It got better from there. First he went to work on my GF, then she waited for part 2 while it was my turn. Joe is such an amiable, knowledgable hair dresser with an incredible story of how his Dad made all the brothers into hairdressers, also starting a beauty school, which still survives to this day. Untimately, you might care less about the rest till now. Cause Joe did a fabulous job on both of us. Two happy first time customers. Just 2 doors down from our favorite Chinese takeout joint on Main Street in Tarrytown. Just a terrific experience in trying g times.
