As someone who is so so terrified of the dentist, I was at least excited to have chosen a dentist with supurb ratings, but now after visiting - I know why. He is wonderful, everyone in his office was laid back, and he didn't make me feel awful for my lack of dental attention. He went through my treatment plan step by step and gave me great confidence that in no time we will be getting my teeth/dental hygiene back in tip top shape. I knew what type of work I needed done, and was expecting a hefty estimate, but the office broke everything down into "visits" and I should be smiling again confidently in no time. 5 Stars for a dentist's office with an oddly calm vibe and the least judgmental dentist ever. I admit it had been a while since I last saw a dentist. I was nervous and expecting a long lecture about flossing and regular dental appointments. Luckily, the majority of my family goes to Dr. Valle, so I had great recommendations. The office is right on Edgewater, just past Princeton. It's in the heart of College Park so it is a small, but perfectly planned layout. As you walk in you'll notice that the office feels very modern and airy. Rather than a hallway lined with closed doors, Dr. Valle's office consists of a front desk with a small open waiting area and partitions between small examination spaces. Somehow it feels completely different to any dentist's office I've been in before. (This is a good thing, in case it want obvious.) The dentist himself was gentle, calm, and honest. He prepared me for uncomfortable portions of the exam and then sat down to chat with me afterwards about my teeth. He answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. In the end I left feeling good about my current dental hygiene while still encouraged that I can do more to take it to the next level. Leaving a dentist's office feeling motivated... It's a bizarre feeling! The initial appointment includes X-rays and a check-up, so I haven't had a full cleaning there yet, but I am very confident I've found a great dentist and was really pleasantly surprised to feel so good leaving the office. But yeeeeeeah, I still think whoever finds a way to muffle the horrific sounds of dental cleaning machines will get a Nobel Prize. ~shudder~ read more

Just went for my first appointment and must say that I was very impressed. The staff was very friendly and I received the best and most thorough cleaning. Hands down the best dentist I've ever had! Dr. Valle and his staff are so welcoming, and the office is really striking in its design. I'm normally very nervous to go to the dentist, not sure why, but I feel completely at ease with Dr. Valle. He's warm and friendly, and cracks a few jokes too. I've asked him all sorts of questions when sitting in the chair, and he always impresses me with his depth of knowledge. After going to him the first time a few years ago, I've gotten both of my sisters, my brother in law, and my husband to give him a try. They're all equally impressed. Overall, Dr. Valle was a nice person, but it seemed as though their staff was more concerned with up selling, rather than meeting the patient where they are at. When I arrived, Dr. Valle saw me first before my teeth were even cleaned. After he examined me and took X-rays, he came in explaining his recommendations. Before I knew it, the receptionist was in front of my explaining prices for the deep cleaning that was recommended. I explained to the staff and dentist that I could not afford a $50 cleaning due to other medical expenses I had to pay, and wanted the basic cleaning covered by my insurance. To this, both the dentist and office staff attempted to tell me that it would be "unethical" for them to do the basic cleaning. Needless to say, I eventually got the cleaning done but had to argue for it. While I do not doubt the staff excels at what they do, it appeared to me that their primary focus was making sales, and the patients well being was secondary. read more

I need to review other places of business, so here goes! Dr. Valle has been my dentist for over two years now. He came highly recommended and they were absolutely right to do so. Dr. Valle's office is small, located in the heart of "downtown" College Park. It's quaint ,clean and very quiet. The staff are all incredibly friendly. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen for an appointment. Years ago, during my first visit, I was seen primarily by Dr. Valle. He was so funny and personable. He's roughly my age, so we can relate easily to each other. He genuinely seems like he is interested and cares about you, not only as a patient, but as a person. I LOVE THAT! He always is eager to explain what he is doing and why. You can tell he's a nerd about this stuff and truly loves what he does. If you have something that needs urgent attention, he doesn't make you feel bad about it. It's really cool, because I knwo someone people can be embarrassed if they have dental issues. But, he doesn't dwell on how you got there, all he cares about is how we are going to improve things going forward. Nowadays, I am primarily seen by one of the assistants, a lovely lady (I forget her name, but she always remembers me and asks about me, my wife and our new baby!). Dr. Valle comes in at the end to make sure everything is A-OK. You really do feel like part of the family at this place. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Valle, every time. read more

Dr. Valle is very careful to take time to thoroughly examine you and explain your condition before starting any work. He is gentle, which is something to be said for a dentist. His staff is really courteous as well. So far, he's been very honest and will not do unnecessary work (he's more of an advocate for prevention), which I appreciate. Would recommend highly. read more

Let's face it no one loves going to the dentist. The buzzing, squealing, drill sounds...it makes me want to scratch my nails on a chalkboard. Dr. Valle and his staff throw all of those old cliché worries out the window. (...to the wall...) Starting off, I should mention I'm reviewing this based on 5 successful visits to Dr. Valle. So this is not something I take lightly. I handle pain like a trooper but I don't know why I've always dreaded dentists, personally I rather have surgery. Xanex me into oblivion. But that has all changed now. I have been converted into looking forward to cleanings and whatever else can happen here. I don't have your typical dental plan and frankly don't see the need. I was pleased he's accepted by most discount plan services, but he does accept a Wide variety of insurance; PRO. I was with the same dentist for over 20 years, sadly I was complacent and assumed bc my prior Doc has won all these fancy awards, I assumed he knew what he was doing. Well you know what they say about ASSUME-ing things...I ran for the hills and I'm so happy to have Dr. Valle now. If my teeth could dance, I'm sure they would. Cheers: where everybody knows your name...except it's not scripted and you're not served beer. You're not treated like a patient, but a person...or dare I say it? Family. I'm greeted every time by smiling faces, with my name used, ask how I've been, care about my comfort. It's insane. And heart-warming. I stumbled onto Dr. Valle after I visited 2 other dentists (with their fancy whatcha-ma-call-its and doo-dads and special plasma screen and ipad giveaways) and I was quoted for 7 cavities! Which is ridiculous because I take excellent care of myself inside and out. I was appalled at being quoted for over $1,100 worth of work. Well I may have been born at night...but it wasn't last night. On my first visit Dr. Valle confirmed slight indentations on my x Ray and exams, diligently examing and looking into the previous quotes I had been given, checking each and every tooth, measuring, testing sensitivity, however he enlightened me into mind blowing information I'd never been given. "We can try to repair this without doing fillings" he said. Knock me over with a feather! -What? You mean you don't want to bank a grand drilling into my teeth? The dentist himself personally cleaned my teeth, never charged me "extra" and proceeded to spend the next hour of his busy time to educate me on different ingredients to watch out for, things to avoid expensive products that are over-rated, mouthwashes to cease using and ones to start, a new toothbrush with an even smaller head...All this in a moment of enlightenment I felt like I was talking to the Dali Llama of dental care. And when I say care I mean, care. He also figured out why I was in so much dental pain. It wasn't even something I was complaining about I had just mentioned it in passing, but he was quick to delve into the source of the problem. I had others telling me I needed a root canal when in reality I had received a shoddy crown that wasn't sized properly. He quickly adjusted it according to my bite and voila! Bada Bing bada boom the pain I had been feeling on and off for over 3 years was gone! He suspected me of overflossing, he changed several of my products and suggested to see me back within 3 months to see how my new regime was going. By my next visit my 7 alleged cavities were all healed with the exception of one. Yep. I didn't know that if cavities aren't too deep, with the proper care, products and ingredients they can be repaired and healed. His hunches were confirmed and my teeth were improving. I love a dentist who is an advocate for prevention and knowledge being power. With these results he put me back on your standard 6 month visits and I've been clean as a whistle ever since. Dr. Valle's staff is amazing. His team cares about you, they check on you constantly and are extremely attentive during every step of the way. The hygienist who works with him was a dentist in her country and their cleanings are unlike any other typical standards. Let me tell you, the difference between a hygienist doing a standard cleaning vs an actual dentist are like night and day. Hygienists are mostly concerned with the overall hygiene and don't bother with much more than that. Like an oil change. But the dentist is like getting the tune up and inspection of all inspections, similarly compared to the prestine condition of a fabergé egg. They are so much more gentle, intricate focus on the care of the gum line, your bite, educate you on the dentin vs the enamel of your teeth and before you know it your cleaning is over and you actually enjoyed it and finish with a little more knowledge and some common myths busted. You will not receive a higher or more tender level of care than you do here. read more

I am like most people and do not like the dentist, I don't like the poking, scratching, picking, drilling, etc. I knew I had a few issues to resolve and had a lot of anxiety about it. Dr. Valle helped ease my anxiety and even let me wear my bulky noise cancelling headphones for the drilling and filling. I have had bad past experiences with a fair amount of pain the following days after fillings and cleanings, but he did a large filling and I had no pain afterwards. Amazing. Dr Amaury Valle is the best dentist in Orlando. I have been going to this dentist for years then unfortunately my insurance changed so I was forced to go to another dentist. My experience with the new dentist was horrible. They try to sell me everything and tried to offer all available services to fix my teeth. I never had this experience with Dr. Valle. Each visit with Dr. Valle and his staff was always very pleasant. They don't do that factory type of dentistry or try to up sell you with other teeth related services. I have been seeing Dr. Valle for three years and he is great. I needed an extensive amount of work at first, but he did a wonderful job and I had no problems. Also, he cleaned my teeth once myself and removed a lot of stains. (I can't bleach my teeth due to a repair on one tooth from many years ago that is a relatively dark color.) Dr, Valle is amazing and his techniques are pain free. I have had many years of difficult dentistry related issues due to a complex jaw surgery I had years ago and recently Dr. Valle performed a root canal, some fillings and a couple other collateral issues to the past surgery. Each procedure has been painless and there was no real recuperation because of how efficiently the procedures were done. I absolutly love the staff member they are always kind and they remember me and my family. I had a filling put on about a month ago, I was having a lot of trouble with the tooth before, and the staff member had asked me how was I doing with the fill in and if it was still bothering me. Best part of this was that I was there for my son's cleaning and they took the time to ask how I was doing. As for Dr. Amaury Valle, he is amazing, he explains everything in great details he takes his time and never rushes through and schedules in between times perfectly.
