TLDR: you will want to have this place be your dentist…read more Let me start by saying, before Dr. Holz I hated going to the dentist. I did not have the best dental hygiene growing up which has compounded into a mouth that needs a lot of work. Previous dentists I went to made this seem insurmountable and it was too overwhelming and I ultimately would give up every time. Dr. Holz did the opposite of that. In my initial consult with him on 9/20/2021 he also explained that my mouth was in really bad condition, but he took the time to explain how we could systemically approach it and what needed to be taken care of right away and what could wait for the future. He also did not judge me when I shed a few tears over how overwhelming it all was. 1.5 years later, 6 teeth pulled, 4 crowns, 10+ fillings (I was able to not need some over time which was great), 14 visits later I am still as happy as I am that first visit. Every visit to the office is dare I say fun. Everyone at the office works together to take care of you so that you have the best experience. I had some complications from the teeth being pulled that required lots of coordination and the front office stepped in and made sure everything was taken care of so that I could focus on what I needed to. Also Dr. Holz and the different assistants explain every step of the way what they are doing so that I never have to wonder what that weird sound is in my mouth. Also, Dr. Holz is the best at numbing I have ever experienced. The experience is top notch while you are in the chair is also top notch. The massage chairs and televisions with Netflix and disney+ are a wonderful added bonus that help distract you when you have longer treatments. I could continue to go on and on with how much this location has changed my life but I will leave you with this, 1.5 later I've finally moved out of the first phase of treatment and get to begin on the optional parts of my treatment, and I have never enjoyed my smile more. I cannot thank Dr. Holz and team for all they do enough.

I am still amazed by the experience I had at this location. I got to enjoy the friendliness and…read moreamazing equipment. Once I arrived I was welcomed in and checked in right away. I had paperwork to fill out. I the office provided complimentary drinks in the lobby. After my paperwork work was completed I was able to go to the back to get a full scan of my mouth. It was in 3D with color. I was a bit skeptical because of my experience at sage dental but they said not to worry. After going over some of my goals for my smile I felt so relaxed. The dentist understood everything and answered all of my questions. After that I got to relax and watch my show on Netflix because they had TVs mounted on the ceiling while you get your cleaning done. Now the cleaning was such a peaceful moment. She cleaned my teeth with so much care. There were three flavors of toothpaste for the cleaning. I got to try the cinnamon and one other. I really enjoyed the cinnamon but decided to stick with the other that I cannot recall. I even got walked out and was gifted a tumbler too. I absolutely love my new dental office.

When have you ever had a dentist do this?? Shockingly incompetent and odd. Scammy - four months after this, I was billed for unknown charges from them. They won't reply to any messages about the charges. Do they do this to everyone? Submit vague charges months later and hope people don't notice?

A week ago I had EXTREME tooth pain which forced me to find an emergency dentist. On my first appointment I came in contact with Marlen (front receptionist), Michael (dental assistant), Sharon (hygienist), the doctor and of course Dawn who btw called me on a SUNDAY to confirm my emergency appointment. Overall my first visit was great, mostly x-rays and questions. I left with antibiotics for my tooth pain and an appointment in 1 week for a deep cleaning. Fast forward to today. My first deep cleaning in over 10 years. I was extremely nervous and scared but Ellie ( THE VERY BEST HYGIENIST ) explained everything before starting. She gave me options regarding numbing (I ended up only using a topical) and the entire process was amazing. I felt no pain what's so ever , she was very quick , and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The right side of my teeth feel 10 years younger and I'm excited to come back and get my oral health back in control. Thank you Hillcrest for treating me like family and giving me confidence in my teeth again.

Coming from 2.5 years of care under a prior orthodontist, I can attest his level of care is above average and I highly recommend! I came to Dr. Esscott for corrective Invisalign and was treated for about 1 year.

I scheduled a consultation at Escott Orthodontics specifically to discuss Invisalign. This was…read moreapproximately my fourth orthodontic opinion, as I wanted to compare treatment recommendations before committing to a long and costly process. I arrived about 15 minutes early, completed the paperwork, and initially found the staff pleasant. The appointment included a detailed medical history, photographs, X-rays, and a 3D scan that took approximately 20-25 minutes. I understand the importance of gathering complete diagnostic information, but none of the scans or X-rays were meaningfully reviewed with me during the consultation. From the time I arrived, I waited approximately 75 minutes before meeting with Dr. Escott. By that point, I had considered leaving. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the delay, and the actual conversation with him lasted only about 10-15 minutes and felt rushed. I clearly explained that I was seeking Invisalign. After briefly reviewing my images, Dr. Escott initially appeared open to Invisalign but then stated that he would not recommend it for me. He estimated that treatment with braces would take approximately 18-24 months, while the other orthodontists I consulted estimated roughly 7-12 months with Invisalign. I understand that providers can have different professional opinions, and I was not expecting him to simply agree with the others. However, because his recommendation was significantly different, I expected a more thorough explanation of the clinical reasoning behind it. Metal braces were briefly discussed even though I had already expressed that I was not interested in them. I also asked about clear braces and was told I was not a candidate, but again, I did not receive a clear explanation. When the doctor left, he advised me to direct any additional questions to the staff. The interaction felt abrupt and did not leave me feeling valued as a prospective patient. Update: After posting my review, I received a personal email from Dr. Escott asking me to remove it and referencing my future role as a medical provider. I did not find that appropriate. My review was not written because I disagreed with his treatment recommendation. It was written because of the prolonged wait, rushed consultation, limited explanation, and how the overall interaction made me feel as a patient. This is not a free service, and orthodontic treatment is a major financial and time commitment. Patients deserve clear explanations, respectful communication, and enough time to understand recommendations, procedures especially when those recommendations differ substantially from other professional opinions. Based on my experience, I would not return.
