Upon arrival, we discovered that the cake had shifted and sustained damage while still inside the packaging. When we contacted the bakery, we were immediately blamed for the damage and accused of transporting the cake improperly. At no point were we provided with a written transport policy, liability waiver, or handling instructions before pickup. Despite this, the bakery refused to discuss a reasonable resolution and was dismissive throughout the interaction. My biggest issue was not the damage itself, but the lack of professionalism and customer service when attempting to address the problem.

So the night before that, I told him I needed the cake by the 5th and he managed ONCE again t make this cake on such a tight schedule. I know I haven't been the best customer, but I really appreciate his efforts to make things right & helping us create something beautiful for my mom's birthday. The cake is the same, but I think there's a custard-curd filling which my family really enjoyed. A strawberry shortcake with vanilla buttercream. It was maybe a bit sweet, cake was dense a little bit, but that's okay! We've never had cream like this before, and it was strange to begin with, but it's super creamy and tasty!! Their list of available cake flavors and fillings is way more varied than I anticipated, which was a huge plus. I went with a classic red velvet and a raspberry ganache filling (with add-ons of glitter and cherries). The staff went above and beyond to help. They emailed me to confirm the decoration vibes that I was aiming for, which made me super excited to see what they created. Pick-up was a breeze. They were super flexible about my pick up time, which was nice. The My Chemical Romance inspired cake they created was stunning. Honestly, this was the prettiest cake I've ever ordered.
