Upon arrival, I asked whether any accommodation could be offered due to the delay. The response I received felt dismissive and the interaction quickly became unprofessional. Rachel initially stated that being late was not a significant issue because her shift had just started and she was coming from Georgetown. Later, a different explanation involving traffic was provided. The inconsistent communication and tone made the situation frustrating and uncomfortable. While waiting, my puppy had still not been checked in, so I contacted the salon's customer service line to ask about my grooming package. Management listened to my concerns, apologized for the experience, and offered discounts as well as complimentary grooming services to help resolve the issue. I appreciated their efforts to address the situation professionally. Unfortunately, Rachel did not apologize for the delay or proceed with my puppy's grooming appointment. As a result, management advised me to submit formal feedback regarding the experience. My concern is not that delays occasionally happen, but rather how the situation was handled. Clear communication, professionalism, and respectful customer service are important, and I hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences.

This is a standard PetSmart, so it was an easy way to find most of what I needed. There was one…read morething's location I was unclear about, so I asked an employee I saw and she easily directed me. I grabbed what I needed and then walked around. I did some price matching of my cat food and was disappointed that a brand name food for would more expensive here. With this economy, don't they think that even die-hard PetSmart customers are probably price checking? At that point, I stopped looking at other things I regularly use for my cat. I did enjoy the reptile, fish, birds, and furry mammal sections. Who wouldn't enjoy looking at that? Of course, it wasn't what I needed and didn't tempt me enough to buy one. (I don't need my cat stalking another animal looking for a tasty treat!) So, PetSmart has a good selection of items, and the live creatures are interesting to see. However, I don't encourage you to do major pet shopping here without price matching. I'm pretty sure you can get better prices at HEB or Walmart (for the EXACT same items!).

I am genuinely stunned by how we were treated at this location, and particularly by an employee…read morenamed Rachel. We brought our dog, Pippin, in for his appointment with our children in tow. During check-in, we were told his vaccination records needed to be emailed from our veterinarian. Fine -- I immediately called the vet and was placed on hold while trying to get exactly what PetSmart was asking for. Apparently, being on hold with another business was taking too long for Rachel. Instead of showing even basic patience or professionalism while I actively tried to resolve the issue, Rachel was extraordinarily rude, condescending, and openly hostile toward us. I was standing there juggling my phone, our children, and trying to comply with her request while being spoken to in a way that was so unnecessarily nasty that I was nearly in tears. We weren't yelling. We weren't causing a scene. We weren't refusing to provide anything. We were literally trying to do what she told us to do. Despite that awful beginning, we remained polite, Pippin stayed for his service, we were told that he did great, and we even tipped. Imagine our surprise, then, when we attempted to book again and discovered that Rachel had apparently placed us on a DO NOT BOOK status. For what, exactly? Our dog wasn't reportedly aggressive. We weren't told that he behaved badly. We weren't abusive to staff. We didn't refuse to pay. We didn't create a disturbance. In fact, we left believing that, aside from Rachel's astonishingly poor treatment of us at check-in, everything had gone well. I called the store after discovering the ban, hoping there had been some misunderstanding. Unfortunately, my interaction with Rachel only reinforced my impression of how she communicates with customers. If there is a legitimate, documented reason that Pippin cannot safely be serviced, I am completely willing to hear it. His safety and the safety of employees matter to me. But if a customer can be quietly blacklisted because an employee became irritated that obtaining veterinary records at her request took longer than she wanted, that is an alarming way to run a business. I have rarely encountered someone in a customer-facing position who made me feel so unwelcome while I was actively trying to cooperate with them. Management should review exactly what happened here, including who authorized the do-not-book designation, what reason was documented for it, and whether that reason is consistent with what the grooming staff actually observed and told us about Pippin. We were kind. We complied. Our dog did well. We paid. We tipped. And somehow we walked away banned. Absolutely unacceptable.

Yelp said they were open until 2, but looking at the address I wasn't sure if it was a brick and mortar store so I gave them a ring. She explained she runs her business out of her house but has all the licenses and insurance so she is 100% legit. She takes orders by phone Call, text, and emails. She is not currently set up for walk-ins as of yet, but going to get the garage to be set up as a storefront for the bakery, so will be set up for walk-in soon. Prices were reasonable and I was happy to contribute to a local owned business rather than a big pet store. Our doggies ate her treats up like crack, they loved them. Stevie Knicks the Yorkie wasn't too sure to do with the big cake "cookie", but as soon as we broke it up into little pieces it was gone in under a minute. Her big brother Willie Nelson gobbled up the other treats and was doing tricks for them like he was 2 again haha. So shoot her a text and get something yummy for your pup, you will not regret!

So, this place has really high reviews and it absolutely deserves them…read more The selection is stunning. The care they provide for the fish, plants, and the overall organization and layout of the store is glorious. It is the kind of store you could find yourself popping into just to kill a little time, because it's lovely and the vibes are so nice. If you're an aquarist that dies a little inside everytime you see a betta being kept in someone's decorative antique thimble? Rest assured that their bettas are not kept in cups, but in lovely little temporary tank homes, that are all clean and well maintained. I didn't see a single betta that didn't pass the "curious, clear eyed, symmetrical, glide and dart" test. I also heard them teaching a couple about nitrogen cycling, tanks size, and letting them know that they really wouldn't advise buying their betta today. Though if you have the cash to burn they do have pre-cycled tanks ready for purchase. I've been here twice now. Once to get all the gear for my tank and fishless cycle, and then back about a month later to pick up my first betta, Mr. Pants. I'll be going back this weekend for a nerite snail, and the weekend after that for a couple of skrimps provided our betta accepts the snail w/o a fuss. So with all this glowing review, why only four stars and not five? Well, the service could me a smidge better. The lad that helped us on our first visit seemed like he really knew what he was doing, but was super awkward and really hard to talk to. We made it pretty clear that we were totally new to aquarium keeping, had nothing, and needed a full setup, but he left out several things we ended up finding out we needed. The most important of which was a water testing kit, which seems like the first thing that might come to mind if someone is buying all the stuff to do a fishless cycle? The guy that helped us out on our second visit was friendlier and easier to talk to, but did kind of seem like he was in a rush and helping us was a bit of a hassle, even though it was a Tuesday afternoon and there were like four people in the shop. I would normally grant space for a busy, popular store being perhaps understaffed, or overworked, but both times we went there were at least four employees on the floor, it was just that only one of them seemed to actually be there to assist customers. Anyway, none of that is enough to keep me from going back, obviously, but just know that you need to do your own research about what you need before going in, and be willing to overlook some less than stellar service. A small price to pay for access to their incredible and well kept stock.
