Absolutely loved how our girl turned out. Not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous because this was her first time getting groomed and we were so happy with the results! Jacob did not only do an amazing job, but we could tell he genuinely took great care of our puppy. Everyone here was super accommodating, friendly and pretty chill. Updated review- and still 5 stars. 3 years at La Mia Bella for our sky and Melissa is the only person that can work on him! LOVE this salon. Our sky has been a loyal customer since he was a baby. Once we had an urgent matter and had to take sky elsewhere since La Mia Bella was closed and never again. He was so frightened. Sky ran away twice and got stuck in the bushes. Oh La Mia Bella, always always saving this poor guy from those painful burs seed! They do an amazing job and I would not trust any other place. They book up extremely quick so I recommend calling and schedule a few days out. But so worth the planning and wait! Outstanding pet service and we love you Melissa!! I reached out to a Texas Shih Tzu Group I am in via FaceBook and one o the members recommended this place. So you know I needed a double validation and read all the YELP reviews. The person on the phone was so friendly when we made the appointment and we appreciated the chuckle when we said we have a Texas-sized Shih Tzu. We brought our boy in at the drop off time. Once we were in, the lady went over the paperwork with me and was very patient with my haircut instructions. I had no expectations of the outcome because I have been disappointed so many times. When hubby brought our guy home, I was so pleased with his haircut. I was perfect as I instructed with a little bonus. I have taken my dogs to La Mia Bella multiple times and this Friday was my absolute last straw. I have brought my dogs home with a Knick here and there on my hyper one, which I understood because he can be a handful sometimes. However, my other dog is completely scared of everyone and everything almost. He literally hates when I leave him. I got him back and had to make an immediate vet appointment. Not only did he have busted blood vessels in his eyes from trauma (which they think he was choked by a collar .... we use a harness), he had multiple knicks to include a cut on his "manhood" region. Holly and Cody, my two little loves stay here regularly when my husband and I head out of town. My pets are my babies, so leaving them with Lisa and Perry while we are away speaks volumes! Holly, our rescue Pit Bull/Dalmatian mix has some anxiety issues due to being abused in her past and when we boarded her in the past, she was obviously upset and stressed when we picked her up, it wasn't until we started boarding with La Mia Bella nearly 3 years ago that we found a space where she felt comfortable. Now, saying "Do you want to go on Vacation" is a treat and she truly enjoys her own mini vacation while we are away. Cody, our terrier mix is a grumpy old man, but even he seems to really enjoy himself when staying at La Mia Bella. I will say, he is happy anywhere that he has a comfy bed to curl up in, but I know he appreciated the fresh filtered water and the pampering he gets while at La Mia Bella. Cody has also been groomed a time or two here and he always comes home smelling fresh and looking his best (much better than when I try to shave him myself at home)! All in all, I recommend Lisa to all of my pet loving friends. Another great thing about La Mia Bella - they occasionally offer a free grooming to our local shelter, where I volunteer as a photographer. I give them HUGE props for their charity work and would have a hard time finding another grooming or boarding facility that I trust as much as La Mia Bella. read more

This review is very overdue and I apologize to everyone that I have not taken the time to write this review. First let me start with the reason you should take the time to read this (considering I am just now posting)...I have taken my dogs to approximately 242 appointments for a total of 616 grooms since February 2011. For the last 7 years I have been driving from North Georgetown (near Florence) to Round Rock twice a day every other week to have my 3 dogs groomed by Lisa; Garrett; and Melissa. The staff at La Mia Bella are amazing. We have always had long hair on our dogs and that was only possible due to the love and attention by everyone at La Mia Bella. Lisa, the owner, one time called me into the grooming area to show me that one of my pups appeared to have broken out in hives. I had no idea and I was 100% to blame as I had put her in a cute winter sweater even though she had a full coat. I rushed straight to my vet to get Buttercup cared for and my vet told me that my dogs didn't need sweaters. Unfortunately I lost all 3 of my senior dogs in 2019 and I shared this with the staff at La Mia Bella. Lisa called me immediately and cried on the phone with me. She even held my prized Saturday slot for a few months until my new puppies were old enough to get groomed. My husband and I offered to continue to pay for that coveted Saturday slot and Lisa wouldn't hear of it. Yes, if you are still reading this you can probably find 100 groomers in the Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park area but I doubt they will become part of your pack family like the staff at La Mia Bella will. They don't care for our animals to become millionaires (who does really) they do it as a family business because they are natural animal whisperers who truly love animals. read more

This was by far the best experience we've ever had at a pet salon! I called to have my car shaved and they had no issues accommodating her. Our vet said they would have to put her to sleep in order to shave her but this salon had no issues. The groomers were very friendly and said our cat was very sweet. I adopted a dog from the shelter that was completely matted. You couldn't see the pads of her paws, her ears were stuck to her neck, and her tail was just a giant knot. La Mia Bella took my dog in, and made her look stunning. All of the dirty hair was gone. My dog was incredibly happy and was probably relieved to have all of the grime and mats off her body. I am so thankful that La Mia Bella was up for the challenge and took the time to care for my shelter baby. read more

I boarded my dog at La Mia Bella in Round Rock, Tx during New Year celebrations because she is afraid of the loud noises fireworks make. I dropped her off on the Thursday before the 1st and picked her up on the 2nd. As I brought her home I noticed a bad smell. When I got home the back of her coat was covered in poop. Her bed was also stained with her poop. It looked like all they did was feed her and apparently didn't walk her or let her out at all. It was disgusting to see how badly her behind was red and swollen from the poop left there for 4 days. I will never bring my dog to that place again and I hope this post will warn others of the total lack of care from this place. read more

This place is terrible and would never bring my dog back there. I had her groomed and toes clipped last Tuesday and on Friday she was limping very badly. I had to take her to the emergency vet to be treated and they said they cut into the quick of her toe on one and cut the others to short. I notified the owner of this place and she was a real bitch. She said they didn't do it but who did? She wouldn't refund our money and had absolutely no compassion for what they did to her. I wouldn't take a dead cockroach there to be groomed. She claimed she talk to the vet and it wasn't there fault. She also said she has a video of my dog walking out normal. Well she did but walking on it made it alot worse and caused it to inflame. My dog also chewed up her collar they left on outside of her cage and they never noticed it. They also never gave her any water for 7 hours. She drank 5 bowls as soon as we got in the house. I used to love taking my dog here, but this past weekend I brought him in and had a terrible experience. For starters, I dropped him off in the morning and they said he wouldn't be ready until 3-4 which is much longer than normal, but I just assumed they were super busy and let it go. After not receiving a call at 4 I came in to find my dog screaming at the top his lungs. The girl saw me come in quickly grabbed him and ran into the back. When she came out she was obviously in a bad mood and was very short with me when checking out. La Mia Bella did a sanitary trim for my schnauzer, they suggested doing a teddy bear face (see results) I dropped him off at 8:30, requesting that I have him back by 1 for work. They finished Randall on time and the girls working were nice. As for the cut? When I've had a sanitary trim in the past other places have done a gradation from the sanitary area to the rest but his backside has just a little bald spot. When she asked about doing a teddy bear face I thought they were referring to his beard but they also did away nearly all of his eyebrow, which is why I posted a picture so you might have an idea about what to expect. Great groom, better price! I took my Havanese in for a groom. The last 3 groomers I tried were clueless and the last one made him look more like a cross between a Cockapoo and a wire-haired dachshund. But a friend recommended them so gave them a try. may never use another groomer again. I knew immediately that it was going to be a good experience because my dog liked the groomer straight away. He was totally comfortable. And the the place is very clean and well-tended. I knew there was only so much that could be done about his head shaping (did I mention the cocker face cut??). I was very pleasantly surprised that she was able to round it out. Also very good job on the rest of the cut (they actualky know what a sani cut is), and had him nice, soft and appropriately fluffy. Then there was the price, which was $35 les than the last groomer charged me. Definitely will be a return customer. If you want your dog to be well treated AND GET a good from, this is the place for you. read more
