Kris was great with communication. He called to say he was running just a bit late, which was fine. What I appreciate most about Asplund cleaning was that he was up front and honest about what needed to be done and what didn't need to be done. I was considering having the furniture cleaned as well. Kris looked at it and said it really didn't need to be cleaned. He could have said it needed to be cleaned and made another $100. Instead, he gained a customer for life for not trying to gouge me and do something that didn't need to be done. The carpets now look and smell great! He charged less for the whole house than another cleaning company did for the living room and hallway! He also didn't charge extra for steps, which is appreciated. I would strongly recommend Kris for carpet cleaning and will be using him again in the future.

Poor job....unreliable....not worth the money is what you need to know…read more Read on for more information. I really wanted to leave a good review for Nick's carpet cleaning, but I can't. When I reached out to several companies, I asked they typical questions about carpet cleaning, plus asked if they could move a couple of pieces of furniture. Nick said his company could. He showed up alone, and did not move any furniture. He struggled getting the equipment up and down the stairs and we were actually worried he was going to hurt himself. After he left and the carpet dried, I noticed several stains around the carpet and it didn't feel soft when it dried. Instead of leaving a bad review, I reached out and asked what I should do. I also mentioned that my carpet was stiff and crunchy, so I asked if there was something we could do for that. He offered to come back out Monday. I said, "sure. What time?" He replied, "130" I confirmed 1:30. When he didn't show up at 1:30, I reached out. Nick said he came to my house at 1:10 and knocked loudly and no one answered. Then he left. He assumed I forgot and didn't wait until our appointment time. No one was home because the agreed upon appointment time was 1:30. The next message was rude and Nick turned this on me and said, "you should have communicated that with me. I drove all the way out from Otsego. I was trying to be nice." I was trying both times to give him a chance to fix the problem so that I could leave a good review. I like to support small businesses. Now I am stuck with carpet that doesn't look, smell, or feel clean, and I will need to have to call out another company or live with it.

I have Berber carpets which were in good condition but had a lot of staining and they were able to resolve all of my problems. Interestingly enough they do NOT move furniture, but they told me that ahead of time and I had plenty of advance notice to move things out of the way which enabled them to get to all the corners of every room. They took their time, did a great job, protected the corners of the walls where the hose was being run to other rooms, and did a great job of cleanup. Highly recommended!
