To preface; every time I show up for an appointment I wait for about 10 minutes after my appointment time for my lash technician to be ready. I am patient and understand clean up in between appointments that's not the point of this review. My original refill appointment was a week before my rescheduled appointment this past Wednesday, sept. 12. I rescheduled because I was not feeling well the week prior and was trying to be precautionary. I told the lady it would be about a week and a half longer than I usually wait and she said she will just do what she can and then I may have to do a mini fill sooner than I normally would, fine. The day of my appointment I missed my turn into the plaza and called the front desk about 5 minutes prior to my appointment start time to let them know. When I arrived at 3:00 on the dot you would've thought I walked in with a mask on my face. I was greeted by a desk full of personalities that shouldn't work with the public. Eventually after standing waiting for an employee to acknowledge me one of the girls asked if I was Alyssa and that I could wash my lashes and have a seat. I wash my lashes with your product prior to coming in and I guess that was a problem to them? I sit and wait a while and finally my lash technician comes out; after the start time as per usual, no big deal though I don't think anything of it at the time. She says I have more fall out than usual, naturally I know this and already brought it up I figured the front desk would have communicated that days prior. The lash tech was trying to go so fast as to get as many eye lashes on me as possible she kept jabbing me so obviously I flinch. That's a problem to her and she tells me I need to stop shaking so she can do this as fast as she can. I apologized for reacting to tweezers hitting my eyelid and told her if I am shaking outside of that it is because I have very bad anxiety and I cannot help it. She responds with idk maybe you should count sheep or something. At this point I was so upset I just wanted the appointment to be over. I obviously would shake more after this interaction occurring. The hostility during my lash session from my technician was so thick I was fighting tears so I wouldn't piss her off any more. I found myself not breathing trying to hold still. It was very uncomfortable. Finally she slams her tools down next to my face and says "I'm done I quit I can't do it any more". I didn't even care at the time, I just wanted to get out of the building without having an anxiety attack without someone I am comfortable with there. I payed for my services and cancelled my membership and left. the experience made me physically ill to the point I had to run over to the book store across the parking lot so I could have a bathroom to vomit. When I looked in the mirror I realized that my lashes were looking weird. She tried, I'll give her that. Half of my left eye was bare and she didn't use the correct length on any of it. I figure whatever I will let them naturally fall out over the next 2-3 weeks while I find somewhere else to start over. The next morning I woke up to piles of extensions laying on my chest. It is now Saturday,3 days after, and more than 50% of what the tech put on has fallen out. I have never used amazing lash studio prior to this past couple of months. I just moved from out of state and have been trying to find my new place to go. This is not it. read more

So, I wrote my review after my first couple sets of lashes. While I absolutely LOVED my technician, overall, I feel like coming here was a complete and total mistake. I can't say enough good things about my technician, who was amazing and an even better person. BUT. The product is AWFUL and will ruin your eyelashes. Before I found my favorite technician there, I had to come back 3 times to get the lashes corrected. They were uneven, some spots sparse, and when the glue was behind applied I felt excruciating burning and was told that it was normal. It was the furthest thing from relaxing. They look great when you're there- and you need to follow the directions perfectly. Keep them clean, don't shower for 48 hours, don't sleep on your face etc. I followed these all TO A TEE. I began losing lashes in absolute clumps and more often than not, they would get stuck to parts of my eyeball that were not easy to get off and I would have freak outs and would have to get my boyfriend to take them off for me because I was panicking. They went from 100% lash, to 50% overnight, each and every time I got them done. It was so frustrating. It seemed like a complete and total waste of money AND I was still coming in every 2 weeks as they recommend. The worst part though, is that during my appointment, a woman walked in and asked to cancel her membership. They asked why, and she presented pictures of her eyeball that was BLOOD RED and horrible as she had a terrible infection from the lashes that fell out in clumps and stuck to her eyeball in places she couldn't reach out to. She ended up in the ER for days and was so upset. I cancelled my membership immediately. I've heard from a lot of my friends that they continue to bill even after you cancel your membership and that it is hard to cancel, but I haven't had that happen to me at all. After having my lashes fall off, I was embarrassed and heartbroken by what was left of my natural lashes. I used to have gorgeous, long lashes before and considered the extensions to be an emphasis on them- now, I have nothing. I look naked. What's left of my lashes are brittle, stubby, and horrible. I have cried every single morning. I've purchased about 3 different expensive lash serums to try to grow them. I was promised all along that my lashes would look the same, but it couldn't be further than true. I've never felt so unattractive in my life. If I could go back and never do it, that would be putting it mildly. So, so sad about the way this has made me look. read more

My first time coming to Amazing Lash studio and it was pretty ok. I booked online and saw the "intro rate" of $89.99. No where did it say that the intro pricing was for natural lashes only. Not on the website or when you go to book the appointment (or even in my email confirmation!) Once having my consolation with the stylist Jillian, I told her I wanted a little bit more than natural but did not want to spend a ton. She mentioned the 3D volume lashes to me and said, "since it is my first visit, it is $155." I wasn't anticipating spending that much but I figured it'd be better than natural lashes. Jillian did an absolutely amazing job my lashes turned out beautiful. So kudos to her! I was although disappointed to hear when I went to check out that it was $177!!?! I went from thinking I would spend $90 which became $155 and then $177!!!!! Practically DOUBLE what I originally thought.. Why was I told by my stylist it was $155 but was charged $177? Before booking an appointment here I recommended calling or even stopping by to get a full understanding of what you'll actually end up spending. I do love my lashes but not $200 worth. word of advice: REQUEST A SENIOR TECHNICIAN! While the women who did my eyelashes was very sweet the process was painful as well as uncomfortable. After completion I had to ask her to take off 3 eyelashes that were pointing down. Called after my appointment after seeing my eyes starting to get red and seeing eyelashes on my eyelid. They were very accommodating in scheduling me to have my eyelashes removed the next morning. After sleeping and waking up with bloodshot eyes I went back to the studio. After getting them removed however I was left with a white residue and even more bloodshot eyes which has persisted all day and the white residue won't come off despite attempts to take it off with various products. When I told them I wanted to cancel my membership the women was very condescending and made me feel like the situation was only caused by an new technician and that I needed to give them another shot. In my opinion you should not be hiring and let someone work on a client if they are going to leave a paying clients eyes like this. After 10 hours my eyes are still in pain and sore. While amazing lash studio attempted to fix this by giving me a free full set next time the situation has left me miserable and left me looking crazy. Side note: I know it was not an allergic reaction to the glue as I had been coming to amazing lash studio for many months. Also not looking for any response just wanting to make people aware of the dangers of coming to amazing lash studio and getting a technician who is "new". 08.22.2020: Update it's pink eye. This is ridiculous and absurd that this place is so unsterile that I got pink eye, especially during a global pandemic. read more

I want to first say this review is not at all a personal attack on the lady who did my lashes. She was really nice both times I saw her. However, I would never ever recommend this place for lash extensions. I got my lashes done at the same place for 8 months. Moved and started going to Amazing Lash. My former girl used to take at least an hour doing my fills. This place spends about 25-30 minutes. While at first I thought it was nice to save time, I realized it was NOT good. They stack your lashes here - Putting multiple extensions on one lash. Also they adhere them right at the root which I'm told strangles your natural lash. Because they do fills so quick, my lashes would fall out in chunks. And every time, my natural lashes would fall out with them. I lost a lot of my natural lashes by going to this place. They also put this black sealant on your lashes that makes them clump. read more

The studio is nice, the service is great and the people that did my lashes were amazing. My only issue is that I cancelled my services in May. I was told I was not going to be charged because I went and cancelled in person. They KEEP charging me 3 months after I have cancelled. Edit : I contacted them and they were very gracious and kind. They recognized they made a mistake and promised to refund me for the charges made. read more

Amazing Lash Studio is, like it's name suggests, is amazing! I've always wanted lash extensions, but was nervous because I am very picky about my lashes. I tend to like my makeup/lashes on the dramatic side and was worried that my stylist would , A., not get my lashes big or bold enough, or B., she would think what I wanted was too bold and dramatic and not do what I asked. Oksana was my stylist and not only did she get my lashes big enough, they are absolutely PERFECT. Oksana is very detailed oriented and wants every lash in the right place. It has been one week since getting the lashes applied and I'm a bit disappointed with how they've held up. I think the lashes looked great at first, but only ond week in and it looks as if well over half the lashes have fallen out (they said they should last about 3 weeks). It looks a bit odd to see obviously sparse areas on my lids. I've completely followed up with proper lash care as well (using oil free makeup remover, brushing the lashes out, etc.) I think ALS is a great option for a more affordable alternative, but the quality is probably not as great as other salons. For instance, there were no options for lash material (ex: many other salons use mink to offer a lighter, more natural look, whereas this salon only offered synthetic). In addition, my technician only spent 40 minutes applying my lashes when it generally takes 2 hours. If you're looking for a place that is cheaper and will take asap appointments ALS is a good option, but if you are getting these for a special occasion (wedding, graduation) I would go with a nicer salon! read more

I SHOULD HAVE REVIEWED YELP FIRST ... then i would have seen the lowly 2 star rating for the Not amazing lash studio. This is the worst beauty experience I have ever had in my 47 years. I failed to get the full, dramatic lashes I paid for. The receptionist Melissa started crying when I calmly told her I was not happy with my lash service and and she walked away when i asked for the corporate #. The store manager called me only to rudely say it was my issue because the lash stylist has been there for a while, as well he reprimanded me for making his receptionist cry. This store Mgr had the nerve to tell me I should have looked on the internet for the corporate number. I swear...I will spend the rest of my natural life making sure that every potential customer is aware of the type POOR, BELOW STANDARD SERVICE ... AMAZING LASH STUDIOS provides. I was nervous after seeing that this locations had bad reviews and a low rating the night before my appointment but am so glad I didn't let that deter me from giving them a chance! First impressions: super clean, super friendly desk receptionist and super cute Valentine's Day decorations strung about. I saw Nicolette for my lashes and she did amazing! She made sure they were what I wanted and that I was comfortable the whole experience. I first reviewed whenever it was my first time going but now I feel like it's time to update. The salon is still always very clean. The workers are kind and professional. My lashes make me feel so confident, and getting ready has never been easier. My main technician is Jillian and she is amazing! She's very easy to talk to, and extremely skilled at what she does. I will never go back to before I got my lashes done. Getting the two a month membership was definitely worth it. The is my first bad review from amazing lash studio. My regular amazing lash studio is located in Southern California. I've never had a problem there. I was in Missouri for an event and decided to get my lashes done at the chesterfield location a couple days before my event. I just needed a refill. I've been getting my lashes done for about a year so I knew something was wrong when I walked out. When I would look down, I noticed crusties all in my lashes. I thought it was because I wasn't cleaning them properly but I then came to realize it was glue! The glue was globbed, turned yellow, and really hard. It looked like a hard eye booger on every single eyelash. Even when my extensions would fall out, there would be clumpy hard glue on my real lashes and even my skin. I am back in California and I decided to schedule another refill with a master stylist so I could get her expertise on the situation. She said that the glue crystallized, the application was done improperly, and I had four real lashes glued onto the extension. She even said there were lashes that were twisted and upside down. This master stylist is the one that would train others at the Southern California location so I know I can trust her. She decided the best option was to completely remove them completely and start fresh. If I were to do a refill on these poorly done extensions it would damage my real lashes even more she said. The master stylist in California had to layer the remover 3 separate times because the hard glue that looked like eye crusties were being stubborn and was not coming off easily. The lashes came off easily, but the harden glue didnt. The lesson learned was to get my lashes done prior to coming out to Missouri with my trusted lash stylists in California. Never once has this happened before! Just be cautious and maybe the extra money to see a master stylist could be better in the long run. read more

My first experwncw was phenomenal but then my card was charged and I was under the impression that I wouldn't be charged until I came back for my 2nd session I was wrong and the person at the front desk was rude she stated that my funds wasn't available which was a lie then I'm went in for a 2nd session because I had the credit for there and was charged an extra 50 dollars and the service her horrible weeks go by then I get another charge for another 119 I called and spoke with Gabby and she stated I had to come in and sign papers and I would have a visa gift card waiting for me I drive 30 mins only to get a gift card that I'm going to not use and the person at the front desk stated she can't do anything about it now I'm pissed because I have a 119 dollar gift card that I'm not going to use I'm out of 240 dollars and I only used them twice this experience only reminded me of why I never gotten my eye lashes done before it's a lesson learned I will not never go another eyelash place for anything not even products WORSE EXPERIENCE for me I JUST THEW THE GIFT CARD AWAY WHAT A WASTE read more

They ruined my eyelashes. I couldn't be more disappointed or devastated with the service I have been given. The first month was great but when I came in for a refill they put on eyelashes that were too long and too heavy for my type of lashes which then proceeded to rip out almost all of my real lashes. When I came to get what was left of my lashes removed, they still made me pay for the removal which was needed because of their mistakes. All of the negativity started when I tried to cancel my membership. I was told I needed to come into the salon on the phone by the manager Elle and then told that there was no reason for me to come into the salon once I was there by employees in the salon. They then acted like I was the one that was confused by the situation. I was given the run around a few times and was forced to waste over 5 hours of my own time to cancel the membership. I did have to return to the salon a second time to actually cancel the membership. At that point I was frustrated, annoyed and out of patience. The business felt unorganized to say the least. The manager failed to resolve the issue and lacked appropriate customer service skills. This was a horrible experience and I will never go back. read more

I wanted to like this place so badly because I am a big fan of lash extensions and have got them done before. So at my first apt the lady did my entire full set in about 35 mins which was crazy to me considering it took almost 2. hours at the place I used to go to previously. I have to say my lashes looked amazing. They were so amazing I made all my friends come and check it out. But, soon after I started getting a lot of irritation. My eye balls themselves hurt to the touch ! They were EXTREMELY itchy as well. I went for my next apt and had them all removed and out back on because the next lady I had said the first lady placed them just too close to my lash line. This time was much better although my lashes didn't look quite as nice. This set didn't last even have as long as my previous set. The thing about eyelash extensions that is so amazing is how glamorous they make you feel but when you are spending so much money to only look glamorous for 1 week it is not worth it. I went it in a final time and they recommended the sensitive glue. This set didn't irritate me although I was still slightly itchy, although they were pretty just a lot more natural then i'm personally willing to pay for. So after all that frustration I decided that I have given them a far enough shot but it was time to cancel my subscription. I have so much more I could say about this but I don't want to disrespect anyone. Mostly everyone I encountered was very nice. Now i'm just stuck with my natural lashes looking absolutely terrible. No exaggeration they are actually half the size they used to be and extremely sparse. It very disappointing and hurts my confidence.
