There were no struggles, hesitations, or sighs. She did everything with ease and was able to mimic the design the best out of all the other salons I've been to. Once she was finished, Olivia brought me over and did my pedicure. She was amazing and also super friendly. The massage chair was heaven and easily one of the best I've had whilst getting a pedicure. Overall, I was beyond pleased for my first time at the salon. While the prices are a tad higher than what I'm accustomed to paying, it does ring true you get what you pay for. A young lady at the front asked me was I "Stephanie" in which I stated my name and told them I was there for Chloe. Another young lady said I told her my name was Stephanie. Not sure why she would say that when I'm aware of my name. A short time Chole appeared and we got started on the service. I showed her the shape I wanted my nails and she nailed it. She was professional, efficient, and fast. This review is no reflection of her services but not sure if I will be back given the miscommunication in the beginning and sort of being blamed for the mishap. Through more than 2.5 years of focused self home care, I successfully cleared approximately 99% of my melasma using a simple daily regimen centered on Vanicream products. The results came entirely from my self home treatment -- NOT from this facility. A. For Professionals: If a client discloses that they have sensitive skin, I strongly recommend implementing a 72-hour patch test followed by a 5-day monitoring period as a standard precautionary step. This is far more effective than relying solely on a liability waiver. B. For Future Customers: Laser treatments or chemical peels might provide temporary surface-level improvement and a short-term glow, but if underlying internal factors (such as toxin accumulation) are not addressed, pigmentation issues like melasma are very likely to return. In my case, the clinical treatments from this facility offered zero benefit and instead caused a severe reaction. C. Key Recommendations from My Experience: a. Sun Protection: Practice absolute, consistent sun protection every day. b. Dietary Focus: - Avoid highly processed foods - Minimize high-sugar foods - Reduce high-salt intake - Eat plenty of green vegetables and a wide variety of colorful produce c. Maintain well-balanced daily nutrition d. Incorporate Vitamin C serum into your skincare routine e. Stress Management: Incorporate daily meditation and deep breathing exercises to support overall detoxification. I met with Cheri at So Natural for the first time in May. I wanted to get my upper and lower eyeliner done, but was so nervous about it. I had been referred by a previous client. Cheri explained the procedure, and said she was "very conservative," as am I. After all, this is permanent! When she finished with my eyeliners, I was SO pleased, when I went back for my checkup I had her add a little bit more! I had also been thinking about getting my eyebrows microbladed. I am a fair-skinned redhead, so never had any eyebrows. Again, I was nervous, but had more confidence in Cheri. When we finished, she thought they would be too light but I was satisfied as it was. Then when I went back about a month later for my follow up, I actually had her make my eyebrows "bigger." Everyone who knew me comments how good they look, and if you hadn't known me, you'd never know they weren't all mine! I received microblading services and I love the look of my eyebrows! One month prior I had a consultation with Sabot, the aesthetician. She explained the procedure to me and drew on the eyebrows so that we could agree on the best shape & color match for my skin. When I came in today, for the actual procedure we again did a practice run to be sure the shape & color was what I wanted. She again explained the entire to me & expressed if I felt any discomfort with the procedure to let her know & we could take a break. She numbed my eyebrows & got to work. The entire procedure took a little over a hour, little to know discomfort & I am soooo happy with the results! To start with I found out that they moved and did a search and found this so I wanted to let everyone know that about 5 years ago I had my upper and lower eyelids done with permanet black amethyst eyeliner. I have super blonde eye lashes and this was and still is the best thing I ever did for myself. The color has lasted and has not faded. I have sensitive eyes and no longer have to wear eyeliner. The owner did my eyeliner and was very nice and she took her time to make it perfect and believe me that with almost white lashes you could see a mistake and they are nearly perfect. so recently my sister and I had a bad experience here. my sister had the police called on her by the owner for stating that she was going to put this place on "blast" on social media due to a bad experience. She wasn't loud or boisterous, just stated a fact. We were BOTH forced to leave. When I reviewed them on Yelp, Yelp claimed that my review was based on social media hostility and was therefore false. YELP SIDED WITH THE RACIST ESTABLISHMENT AND REMOVED MY REVIEW. That is what they are doing now to protect racist places such as these so what does that say about Yelp?! read more

After having my permanent eyeliner initially done by a private practitioner (who then stopped her practice), I started using So Natural over 10 years ago for my touch-ups every 2 years. I absolutely love Cheri, who is a co-owner. Today I went in to have a Cheri do a full lip treatment. My most recent experience here was to finally get microblading done after a long journey! Let me…read morestart by saying this: it is WORTH YOUR MONEY TO FIND AN ARTIST YOU LOVE!!! I went to someone who was in my price range a few years ago because I wAnTeD tHeM RiGhT NoW and was too impatient to save up more money. They didn't match each other and the color turned out dark purple, so I politely expressed my concerns with the original artist at my touch-up session. Unfortunately it still didn't go well, and I ended up with what you see in my "before" picture. Soon after that, I went to Frida Cosmetic Art to start the saline removal process. She had a daunting task ahead of her. It took 5 sessions due to how deep and thick the previous "artist" did it. Each removal session was reasonably priced and had impressive results. After that difficult experience, I decided I wanted to be a microblading artist myself. Perla Olave, the owner of Frida, provided in-depth training sessions and allowed me to shadow her a couple times. She is an amazing instructor, but I'm not ready to try microblading on a real person yet. As it turns out, it's way harder than it looks! Now, I truly appreciate the talent, skill, and dedication it takes to be a reputable artist. Last week, she did my microblading for the first time. She did a combo brow with nanoblading. This means that there are microblade strokes at the head and nanoblade for the rest of my eyebrow. We chose this because I barely have any eyebrow hair and she had to work over a few of the botched remnants that were too stubborn for the saline removal. After the 1st session, my brows look soooo much better than I ever thought possible! I literally cannot believe that this is my face when I catch a glance in the mirror. I'm excited for the "final product" after my 2nd session in a few weeks!!! I would 1000000% recommend Perla Olave of Frida Cosmetic Art for microblading to anyone who wants great eyebrows.

I have now been going to Jamee for eight years!…read more It has been so fun to watch her grow her business. When I started going to her, she worked for someone else. Jamee then went out on her own. She eventually added another person to her staff and they quickly outgrew the space they were in, so they moved. Including Jamee, there is now a staff of five! While Jamee is still the one I see, I have been to all of the wonderful women on staff, except one. I haven't been to her yet because she's newer, but I'll probably get to her eventually. The salon is gorgeous and inviting. I can say the same for the staff! All of the women are welcoming, friendly, and extremely professional. I reached out to three businesses, assuming most would be closed on Monday... Gratefully this business was open and had several appointment times for me to choose from. *hand claps* I saw pictures of their work online so I knew the quality of work was on point before I made an appointment. The establishment is run professionally, appears very clean, and I enjoyed their taste in music. I fell asleep at least twice but the aesthetician was very gentle (and didn't wake me) and I was pleased with the outcome. Lastly, I appreciate this business is owned by a Black woman. A waste of $75 dollars. I would like to support this local salon but given this poor experience for a basic service I cannot trust the quality expectations of the business. If this artist's work was deemed sufficient to pass them into a position of a professional provide and it was sub par, I won't risk attempting another try at this or another service at this salon because quality standards are lacking judging by this service. Very frustrating because I rarely spend $ on beauty given my tight budget and this was a waste of time and dollars.
