Open on Sundays! And with great hours! Went for an eyebrow threading cleanup after 6ish weeks Shabana did a good job on threading and tinting (henna) but full disclosure, I'm not picky about my threading as long as they don't thin them out. She asked me to look after she was done and was very gracious about cleaning up a corner when I asked her to do so. No offer for aloe or witch hazel at the end but I'm sure I could have asked. She is running a solo operation temporarily, but she works quickly. read more

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Today was the first time I have visited this place and it will definitely be the LAST! I told the woman working that I'd like my eyebrows threaded and tinted. I let her know I hadn't got them threaded in 6 months I an attempt to grow them out. I let her know that I don't want her taking off much just for her to clean them up and tinted. She tells me she understands. This lady proceeds to shape my eye brows two different ways then tints them unevenly!!!! They are two different shapes and the tint is all over my skin as well. When I point out that my eyebrows are uneven and patchy she tells me I can fix it at home. Why would I pay a professional of I could fix it at home??!! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!! This lady is a disaster and I will NOT ever go back to this place. While I was there another lady came in and she butchered her eyebrows as well. This lady is terrible and unapologetic. Shabana does a great job with my brows and listens! Today I met Farah who did my eyebrows and she didn't listen. I asked for a cleanup only and she went onto making my eyebrows super thin. I could feel it from the amount of hair she took off. Then she went on to tell me that my left eyebrow is thinner than my right eyebrow and that I shouldn't tweeze! I told her I know that both my eyebrows are different but I don't tweeze but she cut me off. She didn't let me finish my sentence and told me I should apply make up on them to make them look fuller. She over did it on both but mostly my left eyebrow is now super thin! It's never been this thin. I came here right before they closed but because they still had the "open" sign on but the whole ordeal was so rushed. The threading on my upper lip was rough and has left that whole area red and I can feel it cut through my skin. I've given 4 stars for Shabana because before today I've never had a complaint. I hope this is taken as constructive feedback. read more

Asked for a slight cleanup. Left eyebrow was entirely too thin and uneven compared to right eyebrow. Came back and they made them even, but now I have two eyebrows that are 2x thin as they were before with no curve. Looks terrible. read more

Walked in to get my eyebrows threaded and it was a wonderful experience! The owner did a great job shaping my brows and was very friendly. The price was also great (and typical for threading) at $12. This seems to be one of the only eyebrow threading businesses left in the area. I tried 2 other places before this and it looks like they sadly did not make it through COVID. I have been looking for my go-to eyebrow threading spot since moving to Chicago, and I think I've finally found it. Going from half a eye brow, to pencil thin eyebrows, to eyebrows that were COMPLETELY different, I have finally found someone who does my eyebrows to perfection. The lady there is super personable and very fast. Not to mention the prices are affordable! Very hygienic given everything with COVID going on. I even have a punch card for there now. Services: Eyebrow threading / side threading / lip wax Eyebrow shape was truly great, but there were one too many stray hairs left and she did not thread in between eyebrows. Side threading is patchy and unfortunately the worst I have ever received. Lip wax was leftover on the lip and inside of my lip. Was not asked if I would like to see in the mirror or handed a mirror to check. Environment: There no air flow so I was sweating the entire time on a 60 degree day. So if you're thinking this place is $9. You're wrong. It's $12. The wait was long on a Sunday but I'm not really complaining since its the only place open on a Sunday. My threader was alone but she didn't rush or panic when more patrons showed up 20 minutes before closing. The thread tore twice. Which is normal for my coarse eyebrows. However, its only been 1 week and a lot of my hair has grown back. This usually doesn't happen until week 2. Which tells me she tore a lot of the hair instead of taking the root out. If I ever find myself needing a thread on a Sunday again, I may consider it, but I'd rather not return for the price I paid. read more

I decided to get my eyebrows threaded here based on the yelp! Reviews. I wish I didn't, I walked out of there with the thinnest eyebrows ever. I want to cry. I have a wedding to attend. The very first thing I said was, "I WANT TO KEEP THEM AS THICK AS POSSIBLE" On top of it, as you can see in the pictures I posted, my right one is not even straight, wtf! No wonder why it was so painful and I kept sneezing! She was threading hair that had never been removed by my regular lady before. There is bright skin around my eye brows-a sign of hair removed that's never been removed before. I'm beyond pissed off. Unbelievable....smh i am never coming back. First time trying the place! I wish there was a discount or promo for first-timers. I went in on a weekday about 6 pm. I was happy because there wasn't another patron there, so I was tended to quickly. I really like how the employee shaped and cleaned my eyebrows up. The only thing I would say is that it is expensive. I've gone to other places for 10 and not to mention, I did tip. So my price ended up being a little less than $15 bucks for my eyebrows. The price is the only thing that would make me hesitant to returning. But, we'll see. read more

I came here on vacation and needed somewhere to get my brows done for New Years. The woman who helped me did an amazing job! I was skeptical about trying a new place away from home, but decided to take the risk since the Yelp reviews were great. I let her know I wanted to keep the thickness and she did a thorough job of cleaning up the brows and took her time to make sure they were perfect. I told her something and she told me she just cleaned them but that is not the case. I regret ever going here. I was excited about the rave reviews, but now I'm wondering if this lady's friends and family are leaving these 5 star ratings. I typically get threading for the precise, neat and polished look that it provides, but what I received was none of the above. My eyebrows look raggedy as hell as if they were done by an amateur. It was also more painful than most of my other threading experiences. I was hoping to really like this place since it's within walking distance of my home, but I'll continue trekking over to Taylor Street and standing in line for my brows since they actually know what they're doing. read more
