First I would like to say this is just my experience. I came in as a walk in, the were polite. My lash tech was very nice, but I like the lashes upon walking out. They also try to push the membership on you which is kinda of overwhelming. After a few days my eyelid starts to peel near my lash line and a few days later it's starts to get bumpy and now both my eyelids are peeling and full on irritated. I usually go to their Carlsbad location and occasionally come to this one when I'm in the area. Everyone is nice and made me feel really comfortable. I always get nervous about trying a new location but I've always had great experiences here. I love the location cuss it's close to other shopping stores and it's really cute inside. All the lash artist I've had are great at what they do and are very talented. I always take a nap whether it's a 1hr touch up or a full set. I love that they also offer lash lifts. I really love this studio because the stylists are amazing and management know how to treat customers. I interacted with Ariana, who walked me through the process. I did speak to a manager, she did what she could to try and make it better, offered to give me a full set at no charge, and told me they were looking at upgrading their adhesives. That was nice of herbut I will probably never collect my free set, it really is not about the money, it takes a long time to get them put on and the point of getting them is to save time by not applying makeup, so investing my limited free time in a free set - which really isn't free, I paid for a set that fell off in two days- is not likely. I don't have weird lashes and the iGlow ones stay put beautifully, three weeks in and have barely lost any. The people are great, I am just disappointed in the product. read more

I've gotten eyelash extensions probably around 50 times in my life. I know the experience very well. I recently came to Amazing Lash Studio as I just moved to the Eastlake area. I was very clear about what I wanted, gorgeous lashes long and full. They are anything but long and full. It took about two hours, about an hour of which my skin was being pulled and my eyelashes being tugged. Things that have never happened during any of my previous lash experiences. I will definitely not be returning and will be calling to try to speak to a manager and get a refund. read more

Making an appointment for lash extensions was easy. The office is cute and clean. And the staff was friendly. That's what the three stars are for... Here are the reasons I didn't give them a better rating: -The "natural" looking lashes I asked for looked anything but. They were black and heavy and looked like lashes I could have purchased from amazon and glued on myself. With my fair skin and brown hair, they were incredible noticeable, and not in a good way. -When I went to pay, they told me they would "only" be charging me $79.99 because of their online deal for new clients. I was surprised by this and told her I'd rather take advantage of their $39.99 promotion for new clients from their Yelp page. Kind of underhanded for her to be aware of a lower promotion and not tell me about it. Glad I knew better. -Because of this underhandedness, I chose not to schedule a fill with them, yet a few weeks later I received an email telling me that I missed a fill appointment I had with them (one I obviously never made). -Lastly, the glue they used was extremely irritating to my eyes, and caused intense burning for nearly six weeks after I had them applied. I'm enjoying the low maintenance of NOT having fake lashes for the time being, but when I'm ready, or in need of extensions again, I won't be coming to this studio. read more

Doesn't that sound like I am offered free refills? When I walked out, I was told I owe $89! Not very nice especially 2 days before Christmas. I thought it was a Christmas special. The Marketing person needs to do a better job being clear of what they are offering and the front staff should be more accommodating to the costumer. In response to Lash Studio's 6/3 reply to my review, I'd like to respond to the bullet points made by Cynthia. Let's go through them: (1) Sleeping on one side of your face (people have purchased special pillows so they don't rub their lashes off) -- I have a special pillow from Sleep Number and sleep on my back. This would not be a reason as to why my left eye lash extensions became so sparse. (2) Working out. Sweat will break down the glue. I noticed that you didn't purchase our foaming cleanser. If you do sweat we recommend washing our your lashes with our foaming cleanser. -- I researched what cleansers have no oil in them and used micellar water to cleanse my lashes the appropriate times recommended. Regardless, I did not go to the gym or worked out during the time I got my lashes done (5/25) to when I reached out to Lash Studio that I had an issue (5/31-6/1). So this seems like a slim possibility as to what caused the extensive fall out less than a week in. (3) Swimming or ocean water will break down the glue. We recommend rinsing with cold water after being in the water will help maintain the lashes. -- I did not go swimming or even go to the beach during the time period described. (4) Rubbing eyes is a no, no as it does pull off the extensions -- I generally do not rub my eyes, especially since I just got lash extensions. I was meticulous about keeping them in top shape. In sum, I appreciate the response to my review after the text message conversation between Lash Studio and I went radio silent on 6/1 on their end. For those interested in getting lashes done these are good bullet points to follow. However, in this case, I think it is poor form to assume the problem lies with me and to try to flip it on me when I was very detailed as to the steps I took to ensure I kept them in optimal shape. I stand by my original review. Do better. 6/4 Update: Cynthia erased her original reply to my review and thus makes my above reply seem off. The writing following the numbers is me quoting her original reply back. My responses follow the "--" marks. She listed the bullet points after she claimed that as a first time lash user I may have caused the issues myself. She listed reasons as to what I might have done to cause the lash fallout. This lash studio is soooo awesome! Very professional. Once you walk in you can see hey have lots of products for sale and every employee at the front desk is friendly and welcoming. There are around 9 private rooms and each one has a bed with a paper liner, which made me feel like I was at the doctors office haha but that's how you know they're super clean. They even provide blankets for when you get cold!! They have a special for first time customers which is $89.99 for a full set (there's an upgrade for volume). I got a classic set with 3D volume and it took about an hour and a half. My lash artist was Maddie and she was so sweet and gave me detailed instructions for lash aftercare. I originally tried scheduling an appointment through Yelp but because I was a first timer, i was suggested to text/call. I definitely suggest coming here, you'll have a great first experience and they even have a membership available so you can save $$$!! read more
