We left 2 1/2 hours later with absolutely nothing of what the picture looks like, and it looked like she had two caterpillars on her eyes. In addition to that, she upsold my daughter to a more expensive lash that she did not ask to do. So The upsell on the lash was a completely different lash than the one my daughter showed her in the picture. She completely took advantage of a young girl while I was waiting in the waiting room, trying to empower my daughter and give her some autonomy. We are completely disgusted with the lack of professional professionalism. In addition to that when we spoke to the manager she didn't listen to a word I said, but kept repeating apparently what she had been trained to say. She scheduled us an appointment for one hour later in order to remove the lashes only for us to show up there and the stylist said she didn't have time to remove them so we had to come in for an additional appointment the next morning to remove them. Save your money and do not come here. They charged us over $190 for something we did not ask for. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. She seemed very nice, easy to talk to, and I appreciated her fair pricing. Also she had very good reviews on Yelp. I saw her on 12/27/22. But since I don't go to her normally I couldn't help but compare her to my usual girl. Mind you I have been getting my lashes done religiously for 2 years now. Firstly, she told me I needed a new set (initially booked for a fill) to which I thought, "Fair, she's the expert, I'll go with her advice." She could've been way more gentle when removing the existing extensions. She pulled at the extensions and rubbed at them with whatever remover she used which irritated my eyelids. But I let that go because that part passed pretty quickly. Another thing I noticed is she didn't ask what shape or length of lashes I wanted. I'm used to being asked those things, plus if I'm ok with the length of extensions they're going to apply, etc. When I got home, however, I examined my lashes in the mirror and found that I couldn't brush through them. Somehow there was glue on the the tips of the extensions which I found weird. Also I noted during my appointment she had placed a full set in under 2 hours. Fast forward to today (1/10/23), and I finally got an appointment with my usual girl. She said the fans were unusually easy to remove, despite me washing them every other day and brushing them (when they allowed). She also said she could tell they were premade fans, which isn't always the way to go in my experience. The way they're glued together makes for a very unnatural appearance. She noted that there were multiple fans on one lash which weighed them down and she found a few that were stuck together. So all of this told me that it was a more rushed appointment rather than her being efficient. Overall, I'm not saying don't go to her or anything, I just want her to see this review and hopefully use it as constructive criticism and improve her techniques in the future.
