I had an appointment today, and I showed up 15 minutes early. And for someone who works off of appointments, I appreciate the importance of keeping a schedule. However, as I waited for my appointment time, 5 technicians plus the receptionist sat behind the doubter discussing facial exfoliations and literally braided each other's hair! As I sat there for over 5 minutes, I wondered how sanitary the treatment rooms were was since braiding hair on the countertops was acceptable. The level of unprofessionalism was shocking. If they were busy, totally makes sense that I would need to wait for my appointment time, but to make a customer wait because 6 employees were too busy braiding hair and getting beauty tips is totally unacceptable. Avoid this location at all cost, go to the West Village or Preston Hallow Amazing Lash studios! They are clean and professional. read more

This has been a hit and miss for me. Some of the technicians are great, Victoria, April for sure but some are not so good. AND the front desk person Crystal is RUDE! In addition, I had asked about the white flakes near my lashes and someone suggested maybe I was using something white around my eyes. I knew I wasn't and said so, it turns out there's a protocol to washing your eyelashes with filtered water that no one told me about until I met April. It may be because it's a fast growing business but there are lots of kinks that need to be worked out. Interesting fact, Houston studios seem to do a better job. I attended the grand opening where they opened the studio up to community and scored a free set of lashes. Came back a few days later for my free lashes and signed up for the $45.99 membership immediately afterwards. My lashes look natural instead of overdone caterpillars lying on my eyelid.The salon itself is absolutely stunning. I'm a germaphobe, so my eyes were on the stations. I really really wanted to love this place, but as I previously stated my lashes are not lasting. I had to get a full set yesterday because after two weeks I had none left. Today, all the lashes I got yesterday are gone!!! I called to ask for help and they said they could not see me for 4 days. Unacceptable. I've been going here since this location opened. I have always had a great experience every single month I go! The front desk girls are so helpful, especially Dakota. They go above and beyond. I started getting my lashes done about a month & a half ago & really enjoy the service, however, I had an appointment on Saturday for a refill & was informed that the price is going to up about $10. It doesn't seem like much, but when you have to go every two weeks, it makes a big difference. I'm really disappointed because I don't think I'm going to do it for much longer for that price. I really never write reviews on yelp except for when I am really blown away! Today was one of those experiences. I had a new set of lashes done today by Kelly and she went above and beyond my expectations! Totally sweet but also was fast and did my lashes just the way I like them. They are perfect! I have been to many lash studios and have been getting lash extensions for years but she is the best. Not only her but also the front desk girl was so helpful and nice. And to top it off they jar a special for $79 for the full set! I am use to paying way more but am on a tight budget due to the holidays and this was perfect. I used to LOVE this studio. The people were nice, they had clean equipment and not too expensive. But then I decided to cancel my membership in November 2016 because I did not want fake eyelashes anymore. They sent me a cancelation notice and kept sending me emails to come back at special offers. It wasn't until May that I realized that I had actually been charged since November for monthly service! I guess an assistant filed my cancellation and she did not have the qualification to officially cancel my membership and I was never informed of this. When I reached out to the manager she only offered me credit for lashes I did not want. They offered no additional compensation and did not refund me. The company needs to solve these issues before they start as they have now lost a customer- and this customer will never recommend. read more

I have had enough of this place. I've had several different stylists that I have liked, but many have left. However, the last few times I've gone there the girl rushed through my 1hr refill in 15 min and a day later they were falling out in clumps with 3 or more lashes stuck together . I've had to go in almost weekly now because they fall out so fast and when they do come out it's so obvious because it's 5 lashes on one! I had to go to the uptown location because it was so bad. The stylist there was shocked at how horrible my old lashes were applied. All the good stylists are always booked. When you try to complain they tell you it's your fault. I will be a member for a year in July (maybe) but after stylist Pam left I have experienced poor services. Being a single mother, working full time and in school, I do my best to properly schedule my appointments. I call ahead if I have to reschedule and am well aware of the policies, etc. Sunday, April 28 I experienced the worse service yet!! I received a call from receptionist Valerie who tried to push a full fill, note she hasn't seen my lashes nor is my stylist. I informed her I just needed a fill as scheduled. She argued with me being persistent and odious. I informed her I will speak with my stylist and go from there. Her tone was rude, attitude, careless and did not make me feel like a valued customer. I received a phone call from Ms. Valerie again stating I have to reschedule due to being late. I was there right at the 15 min grace period being I answered her call as I was at the door. The time was 3:15 exact and she refused to let me proceed with my appointment. I informed her per our first conversation that I was on my way. Yet she was careless and was more concerned about the next appointment rather than mine. I asked for her to put the denial in writing and she refused. I mean after multiple requests, she finally gave me her name. If a representative refuses to identify themselves then how can I trust the operations to have access to my card info? My stylist came out from the room just as careless, she gets paid anyway for the appointment so why should she care if she has to work anyway. I felt like I was viewed as a dollar sign and not a valued customer. I was getting nowhere with either representative and they both refused to assist me. Valarie made a smart alec regarding notes in my account which I found rude being I was not the only one in the room (other customers) the other notes are from yet more complaints I've had. Kelly, the manager was no help, she called me to just hear the story I guess because she did nothing to make my experience better. Her main concern was about the altercation from my standpoint; things I said (which were that I should still be seen) and not the refusal of PAID service. Her only solution was to provide me with a reschedule for the refill (which duh, I paid for the services and did my part.) But NOW I have to miss work and will have FEWER lashes!!!. Kelly sided with her employees and her tone was careless as if she just had to ask for my side of the story yet could careless. I don't go shopping, I don't do my nails, this is my ONLY way of pampering myself. I was made to look like a fool and like I was no one from the manager and the representatives. I will NOT continue my services at this location and hope something is done about the way I was treated and the lack of professionalism from the front desk, the stylist and the manager. read more

Ive always wanted to give lash extensions a try but could never justify spending over $200 on something that would require frequent upkeep ($$$$). So naturally seeing that $79.99 deal for first timers I just had to give in to my whims. I filled out one of their online appointment thingy's late one night, half expecting they would be never get back to me (had that experience with another eyelash salon) and much to my surprise, I got a phone call the very next day about half an hour after they opened. They were able to squeeze me in right away! So they have 4 styles to choose from; Natural, Cute, Sexy and Gorgeous. You can obviously tailor these to your liking. I opted for "Cute". The experience was a tad bit akward. I read in other reviews that in your room they play music which made for a spa-like experience and some people even said they were offered blankets. I got none of that. The lack of music made the tiny room super akward feeling but the girl was very nice so I'm not holding all that against them. The end result was better than I expected! I loooved them. 2 weeks later and they're falling out left and right which is so disappointing. Surprisingly they look okay but I was hoping to be able to go 3 weeks before I got a fill. The brochure they give you when you leave says you can pretty much do anything from swimming to even wearing mascara if you wish to (even though you really dont need to) so long as your careful and mindful of your lashes. (Im paraphrasing of course) I dont understand how that can be true when I've lost as much as I have and I have avoided anything that would require me to touch my lashes period. No make-up, definitely no mascara, no sleeping on my belly, avoiding getting them wet in the shower and brushing them regularly. I can see where some are loose and barely hanging there. Wah. I'm hoping that when I go for my fill, they will look just like they did the first day. read more
