I use to love this place. I had beed coming here for YEARS. They train employees for 2 weeks and expect them to know how to do lashes after that. Every new person I had, was a horrible experience. So I had to just wait weeks for the best stylists to be available. Their turn around time is horrendous and I've talked to a few stylists that I loved that were about to leave and they all said the same on why they leave. Their manager is no only rude but very unprofessional. I had a few issues with this location and I understand I was frustrating to talk to. But I have also been a manager at several retail locations. You have to be understanding and try to fix the situation in what ever way you can. This manager gets so defensive and gets upset. She takes issues way too personally and when I told her I wanted to cancel she was short and rude. She told me I couldn't freeze my account (which I know for a fact that I can) and that I could just take a break and come back with credits. THE WHOLE POINT OF FREEZING IS SO I DON'T GET CHARGED. So I told her to cancel. She was so rude. I ended up calling back to go ahead and keep my account because I didn't have another lash place yet, so I decided to deal. They couldn't find my folder when I went in because the manager thew it away. lol She's so immature, the second and LAST time I called to cancel, I had to say CANCEL, I don't want to keep it AT ALL. JUST CANEL. Because of course she kept trying to tell me that I'll have to pay more if I come back and that I will be billed still for a month. Amazing Lash Studio eats your money. I signed a 6 month contract, thinking I did not have to cancel my account after the 6 months was over because of the contract I signed. Turns out after your contract is ended you are charged monthly. It would have been nice to receive a call from the store saying I was now going to be charged monthly and if I would like to continue that or cancel my membership. Once I called to cancel, I asked if I would be able to use my credits even if I canceled my membership, since I had already paid for them. I was told yes, so I asked to go ahead and cancel my membership and I will use those another time. Whoever I was talking to decided that was my way of saying to hold off on canceling my membership so I was charged for another month. I had to call the store and demand my account be canceled on the spot, permanently so I would not be charged again. Don't waste your time here unless you want lashes for the rest of your life. read more

I have had a very bad experience with this company. I get refills about every two weeks and within two days, I have gaps in my eyelashes. Last month, I even tried doing an additional one week fill and they fell out so fast that I had to pay to get a full set the following week. I have tried multiple stylists between this location and west village and am not having much luck. I have also followed all instructions and wash with their lash wash, use their lash coating (more money down the drain), use their mascara, and I wait the full 48 hours to exercise/get them wet. I am in a contract so I just have to deal with my eyelashes looking bad most of the time in hopes that I find a stylist that applies them correctly, or just let them fall off and let my money go to waste. Either way it is the contract price of $109 (two refills a month) + tip + any extra refills, volume lashes, full set fees due to loss of lashes or master stylist fees. I like the fact that they have several lengths to choose from instead of just long or short. My lashes held up until my next visit. They are very busy on the weekend so make sure you book an appointment. They do ask you to join a membership but they are not pushy about it. This will be my second time going. read more

Not a good experience for my first time here. No explanation of member options. No Lash options (synthetic, mink, silk). The place is old and beat up. The table you lay on is covering in cheap paper like a gynecologist office. My lashes came out looking cheap and are sticking up all over the place. I have to comb them every 5 minutes. What a mess. But you get what you pay for, people!!!! It was only $79.99...... will not be returning to Amazing Lash Studio. Better off at The Lash Lounge. Much more professional and clean environment. read more

This was my third time at Amazing Lash. I loved my first experience which was a full set. The second time was just a fill and I was not very pleased with the results as they did not look as great. The third time I went in was for a full lash set, as they had all fallen out, and this was my most disappointing experience. My technician was nice and professional and my lashes looked good when I left. However, I woke up the next morning and had 10 lash extensions fall off (all on the same eye, so now they look uneven). I saw them on my pillow case and additional ones fell out as I tried to brush them. I followed instructions and had not gotten them wet. I'm disappointed that the day after I got them done so many had already fallen off. Amazing Lash, please ensure all technicians are applying the lashes correctly. Went to this location because my other tech was out of town, and they just didn't fulfill my lashes the best they could've. Seemed rushed and my lashes were falling out the day of not long after I got them done. Will not be returning. I started coming here in October of 2016 to get lashes prepped for my wedding in November 2016. I couldn't have had a better experience from the staff here. They made sure I got the most experienced stylist at my appointments preceding my wedding (one to get them perfect for my bridal portraits and the other for my wedding day) , and I've used another experienced stylist consistently afterwards who I love! I was hesitant to get a membership at first ( I told myself "JUST for the wedding!"..but that changed rather quickly and now I am hooked!) I always schedule my next appointment when I leave from my fill, but I've never had a problem re-scheduling any appointment, if need be. I've come to this location for almost 2 years. The only one I will let touch my lashes is Audra. When Roxy was there, she was my back up. It isn't that I don't trust anyone else but once you go to once person consistently, they're like your hair dresser :) My friend goes to Kim and her lashes always look amazing as well. What I loved about AL from the get go was that I was educated on the proper way to care for my lashes, and in having the right info, I am able to make my lashes last at least 3 weeks! My experience was sub par to say the least. They charged a lot of money to only "run out of time" and not finish my lashes to go start another appointment. They were inconsiderate of the customer and did not seem to care except when it came to asking me for gratuity. I loved my stylist (Jessica) she did an amazing job on my eyelashes, the rooms are comfy and nice and the lobby was so clean and refreshing. The only thing I cane say that I did not like was how pushy the receptionist (can't remember her name but she had short black hair with tattoos) was on selling me products and membership, it's like she had an alternative for me to choose from after every excuse I had not to get anything. After almost 2 hours of laying down I could really care less about products or a membership. But over all my experience was great and I love my eyelashes..great job Jessica. read more

This place and the other two locations in FTW have NO customer service skills. You are asking people to pay top dollar for lashes, but don't work around the customers schedule!! Is there an option for no stars? This place is absolutely terrible. I hope that I can save at least one person from this dreadful experience. I have never in my adult life been this enraged with a personal services experience - not even terrible hair cuts have never prompted me to take time from my vacation to review a vendor. I went in for a full set. They looked great the first day, but the next day I woke up and realized all of them on one eye were gone. The other eye was still in tact. I went in for a correction and got someone who also had no idea what they were doing, except she improvised and did even worse. She glued these disguising painful lashes right to my lash line, not the lash itself. She used an excess amount of glue, causing them to clump into a hard mess in the center. It hurts to close my eyes and I cannot put my contacts back in. I left for vacation the next day, which is when the original eye lashes completely came out. So currently I am completely miserable, with fake lashes glued to ONE of my eyes, they are painful and look awful. I don't know what to do to remove them. These people need to be shut down by the state for this. read more

I have been going to this location since April 2017, I was previously going to the Preston Royal location. First I would like to say my tech Heather is AMAZING, that is the ONLY reason why I haven't went anywhere else. I had a complaint about payment for the volume lashes, which i don't mind paying for service however I wasn't told before about extra fees nor was i charged any other time and I had received the same lashes every time, anyways I'm giving 1 star due to the manager Kellie Ward being absolutely rude, unprofessional and she lacks customer service skills, I called 7/17 to book an appointment and I wanted to inform her about my previous experience and all she did was talk fast over me and was on defense mode. I asked for the franchise owners info she quickly said she didn't know, so i asked for corporate information and she said she didn't have that either i can "go to the website & figure it out" She was very hostile and all i really wanted was an apology which i finally received after 10 minutes of her over talking me and being rude ( keep in mind, i had to ASK for an apology). I would recommend Heather however the manager Kellie Ward doesn't deserve her position as she doesn't know how to speak to customers. Needless to say I called another location to get the franchise owners info and district manager so I had to send them an email. No one should be treated like that especially when you are paying a lot of money for service. Without customers you wouldn't have a job. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. After the NEXT DAY of getting my lashes done I had clumps of lashes falling off each eye. I gave them many chances and even went to different locations just to give them a try because I really wanted to love this place, however it was always the same problem. I have been getting eye lash extensions for over a year by a solo artist but once I heard about this place I wanted to give it a shot. But after many unhappy visits and several corrections I had enough. I tried to cancel my membership but was told that I had to give a 30 day notice and that I would be charged for another visit before I can cancel. So after some arguments the lady said she could freeze my account which she did. But then I wished to cancel after that. Again when I tried to cancel it was such a headache I was told I had to come in to fill out paper work and then I had to pay a cancellation fee. Mind you when you sign up your never warned of any of this! I was told you can cancel at anytime THAT IS NOT THE CASE! I don't recommend anyone going here its a waste of money, yes your lashes will look good for a day or maybe a week but its not worth the headaches!!!!!!! read more

Horrible customer-service and very unprofessional. The girl that helped me told me she couldn't continue applying lashes because I had way too many natural lashes and she had an event she had to go to, (like thats my problem. She did not even offer to have someone else finish my lashes. They also have a 40 dollar fee if you need to reschedule your appointment, which I understand this is a fee that most business have...However this should have been communicated before booking the appointment, especially if you are a new customer. All they care about is getting you hooked on their membership, once they signed you they do not care about the customer. In any business is imperative to always put the customer first. PERIOD. That's is definitely not the case with this studio. I was smart enough to try their service first before signing up for their membership. I highly recommend to shop around before buying their membership, your lashes will look amazing but you will be treated like garbage. I have been a member for 2 years and have NEVER had a problem with the previous locations I went to, BUT THIS ONE HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I only come to get my lashes done here because Nadine is the best, and she does an amazing job. If it wasn't for her, I would've cancelled months and months ago. Was previously at the Royal Lane location, but when she moved locations, I followed her, and I have been going to her for over a year now. I NEVER leave bad reviews, but this is ridiculous. 1) NO ONE ever answers the phone. and when they rarely do, I get put on hold for about 10 minutes, and then they are rude OR hang up on me. 2) Today, I tried to freeze my account since I have a family emergency I have to attend to in Michigan for a few months, but the girl said I had to write an email to the manager. I asked for Kelly's email (since I know her by first name since I get my lashes done every 2 weeks ), but the girl said she couldn't give it to me. Why not? I asked her to freeze it (which I have done over the phone in the past) and she said no. So what am I to do? Can't have her managers email and she cant freeze over the phone. (which I have done when I was out of town before).3) THEY ARE CHANGING THE PRICES AND AREN'T TELLING PEOPLE. I had to find out from one of my girlfriends who was contemplating getting a membership, and after reading the fine print. They are raising current member rates as well. When were they going to tell me I am going to be paying $20 more a month? 4) I am a sales manager and deal with customer service, and I do not enjoy going to this amazing lash studio. Most of the women who work at the front desk don't seem happy to be there OR have a snarky, stand off ish attitude. The stylists seem like the only people who are semi happy to work there. I LITERALLY would never recommend this place to a friend, although Nadine is by far the best stylist and I would recommend her all day. I am sad I am going to be cancelling my membership since I've been a member for so long and love my lashes, but the customer service is HORRIBLE. I am infuriated that I was not informed about pricing changing, that the front desk "cant help freeze" and wouldn't give me Kelly's work email that I was told I am supposed to email. Okay this place doesn't even deserve one star, i went in for a full set and i was kind of skeptical of the place because they were so cheap (& trust me you get what you pay for). By the next morning half of the lashes on my right eye had falling out. The other eye had way to much glue on it (im guessing) because it would burn really badly everytime i shut my eye. Ive had eyelash extensions in the past and this was by far the WORSE experience. I think they hire anyone with a license to do your lashes because the stylist that did mine had no clue what she was doing, but when i called and ask for someone who was good and experience the receptionist said "Oh she's one of our top stylist" (which was a total lie). Im glad i didnt purchase their crappy membership !!! They also told me if i did a good review i would get a discount on my next visit but im so upset that i wouldn't even return there even if it was free!!! I would not recommend to anyone!!!! read more
