All right, so I like to let time pass in order to be a good reviewer. So here it is, I've been coming here for the past two years and getting my lashes done twice a month. At first I tried a few different girls, trying out which I liked best, and eventually I ran into the girl that's been doing my lashes ever since. Her name is Josie and she's my favorite because she is ALWAYS personable, consistent in her craft and dependable. On top of all that she is very clean, organized and I enjoy the music she picks to play. Farrah is also very personable, does a great job at lashing and plays good jams. (I went to her when Josie was on vacation). The twin owners don't feel like owners but more so friends that work w u and give honest direction and feedback, fixing any challenges in scheduling or billing as needed. I will forever be a client of this establishment due to all of the above. Thank you Twins, Josie and Farrah for being as awesome as u are. I went to this lash studio because I had ruined the lashes on my left eye and my regular person at a different salon was out of the country on vacation. I had gone to amazing Lashes when I first moved to Arizona, and realized they were quite expensive. Today I was having one left eye refilled and was charged $155 for this service. I was quite shocked at the amount I came home and googled the average cost of eyelash extension refills and they are anywhere from $85-$150 for two eyes, I only had one eye worked on. I questioned the girl at the desk and suggested that the prices are outrageous. She assured me I was getting a discount that is not possible. The work was good. The pricing there is insane. I don't recommend this place because I believe there are other places that you can get your lashes done for a reasonable cost and this place is unreasonable. read more

I'm giving them 2 stars because they made a small attempt to correct the problem. First of all, I understand I have short lashes. Why do you think I get extensions? I have NEVER gotten extensions and left the salon looking the same as when I got there. And after 2 hours of service no less. The poor girl must have been a trainee and didn't know what she was doing. I feel sorry for her because whoever should have been supervising her left her in the wind. After a long conversation about the fullness and style I wanted and $150, my lashes looked the same. When I complained, no one apologized, everyone blamed me for having short natural lashes. I've been getting lashes for several years and no one has ever had an issue putting lashes on me. They offered to have someone more experienced redo my lashes later the same day. When I returned I made sure the technician understood how long I wanted my lashes. She told me what I wanted was too long for my lashes to support and she would never do that. Who is training these ladies?!? 1. Customer is always right 2. Listen to the customer, they are the expert on the work they have received in the past. 3. Remain humble and acknowledge staff mistakes, then correct them. Final result was lashes good enough to last until I found somewhere else. I still was not pleased. Needless to say I will not go back there or recommend any salon in the chain. I am so annoyed at this whole experience. I have never gotten my lashes done before and wanted to try out their $25 service to see if I liked my lashes enough to be a regular. The $25 training fee is for a "classic" set which I knew I wanted in "natural". From there it was explained to me that they offer you either a 'doll' (longer in the middle) or cat eye (longer at the ends) look and my stylist and I were on the same page: classic natural cat eye w 12mm lashes at the longest. Zoey was my stylist. The appointment itself was fine, the music they played was enjoyable, and really nothing notable happened until the end. About 2 1/2 hours in some employee just comes right into the room (my eyes are closed the whole time) and my stylist says "I'm almost done I swear." The employee just laughs and says "okay." And Zoey says "5 more minutes". Employee leaves and sure enough 5 more minutes and some last lashes are finished up and I'm looking in the mirror for the first time... Zoey asks if I like them and I immediately say they're really long, and I don't feel like they go out at the ends, like they don't look like the cat eye style I was shown before the appointment. Zoey says she'll put the length preference in my file and I'm out of the studio (after some lash care explanation). At the front desk, they ask how I like my lashes and I say "ummm, they're really long and it's not the style I want" and they say again how they'll put it in my preference for next time. The photos are the result (same day). I'm frankly so annoyed that I wasted my hard earned money on this service that is a result I did not even want. They are all the exact same length and look neither classic, natural, or cat eye. There's gaps in the lashes, some were placed completely sideways, very high up on my eye lid, or are not even 'up' in the outer half of my eye, or straight up don't even reach the edge of my eye! I really feel as though this random employee rushed my inexperienced stylist and I'm stuck with a result I hate. I'm so upset. read more

Dang. Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I've been going for a while and I've been extremely happy thus far! Emily is my lash tech and has been from day 1. We do classics and I have the membership so I come in for a fill every 3 weeks. My schedule is bonkers so I've had to cancel numerous times and reschedule and they've always been so understanding and accommodating! Emily does an incredible job on my lashes. I like a more subdued look, definitely nothing heavy and she knocks it out every time. And to be honest there's so many times where I've come in at the 4 week mark and still only needed a fill! Mine always seem to last forever! I wash my face twice a day, and use the foaming cleanser and brush I bought from the salon on my lashes. I learned how to rub my eye without rubbing my lash line, and I don't sleep on them if I can avoid it. Like any adhesive when oils come into contact with it, it breaks down and you will lose lashes. So whether it's natural oils, skin care products, or makeup, if you're not washing your lashes once or twice a day you're going to lose them. So I just do exactly what my tech Emily told me to and I've had zero issues so far. So ladies, keep 'em clean and treat them right and hopefully that helps them last for you too As far as the prices go- sure they aren't as cheap as the lash lady I had who set up shop in a room in her garage/house and does it on the side. But I think the price is fair and I don't mine spending $100 a month to have good lashes! Like I said above, I just treat these lashes like they're a newborn baby and I've had great results. I'm pretty surprised with the low overall ratings for this studio. I hesitated for quite a while before going in. I was pleasantly surprised after my first visit! The studio is clean and comfortable. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and my lash artist, Valeria, is fantastic. I love their monthly lash plan and signed up on my first visit. The pricing is very competitive with others I've seen in the area. I have only had lash extensions done so I can't speak to the other services offered but I'm very satisfied with my experience and will continue to return. read more

Update - the studio reached out to fix my issue which I am grateful for. I will be going back this evening to see a "seasoned" lash girl. Just in time because I lost every lash on the corner of my left eye this morning while cleaning my lashes with the appropriate lash cleanser. I mean it's bare. I have half an eye with lashes. I will update my review after tonight. I was waiting a few days to post my review because my lashes looked good when I walked out of the salon. My stylist Zoey was very sweet and gentle, but unfortunately almost $200 later and having to scramble to fix my lashes, the work is not good and I felt it necessary to review. My usual lash girl was sick and canceled on me but I am a performer and have two weeks of crazy rehearsals and tech before we open our show so I HAD to have my lashes done for performances. I read the bad reviews and like an idiot still booked. My lash girl is amazing. I understand it was what they call a "foreign" fill but it says something that the lashes this studio placed have literally now ALL fallen off. I even asked if they needed to remove and do a full set but they said they could do the fill. It was $130 and I tipped $30. So I dropped almost $200 and look worse than when I first went in. I now have to BUY fake lashes just so I can perform and I can't see my lash girl for two weeks because of schedule. Please do yourselves a favor and find a home based, licensed lash girl, go on social media and look for their pictures and work. It's a fraction of the cost of this place and the quality is a lot better. I will never go back. I'd rather wear fake lashes than go this route again. I gave two stars just because my lash tech was super sweet but this place is ridiculously over priced. $99 for base rate and $65 for any volume. Due to a mistake that was made on the studios end I was told I would get my service upgraded for free. It was acknowledged prior to my service but then after my service they told me they could only take $20 off. Definitely not what they made it out to be and my lashes looked very sparse. This was one of my worst lash experiences and I was not pleased with my experience. I came for a two week lash refill while visiting for the month. I've been getting lashes every two weeks for the past 7+ years so I know what to expect for a 2 week refill. The lash "artist" spent 30+ minutes fumbling around and applying what appears to be 5-6 lashes on both my eyes. I was left with obvious uneven lashes and $125 charge. I am flabbergasted this salon charges $125 for a refill for an inexperienced artist who told me she's only been doing lashes for less than 2 months. I was told I can come back in 1-3 days for a "correction" but I am forever turned off and would not waste my time coming back. Her lack experience was obvious and the reason I'd never come back and do not recommend this salon. Also curious where these lash photos come from on Yelp! They must be stock photos or from more experienced artists bc my experience was far short of anything like the "results" posted here. read more

I was happy with my results when I left the studio and by the end of the night I had what was and unusual amount of lashes falling out but I didn't think anything of it because my lashes still looked full as I'm writing this today I only have half of my lashes left keep in mind I got them done 3 days ago and with me washing them daily and following the aftercare you would think they would have good retention I've never had my lashes fall out so quickly when I've got them done elsewhere and for cheaper (I mean $150 for a volume full set that doesn't last be for real now)and plus my lash artist didn't even give me the style I wanted even after talking about it for 5+ minutes but I didn't want to complain since I still liked the style...(I got the membership and I will be canceling it since it's not gonna be worth it if I'm needing fills after 3 days of having my lashes) read more

Really bad experience, they offered $25 for a set by a trainee, but the person who did my lashes had no experience, she had only done a mannequin for practice, and this she told me herself, needless to say they looked awful. I called the next day and told them that already most had fallen out, they offered to have a more experienced person do my lashes for the same $25 fee, ( which in my opinion, good business practice does not mean recharging me for the job u messed up on) but I paid it, I confirmed w the girl it's only $25...she said yes. When I walked out, she told me I had to pay an extra $65 for the volume, but I didn't know I had extra volume. I never agreed to it, never asked for it. And why when I had just confirmed to her face that it was only $25. This set wasn't much better, after a week my man asked me "why do your lashes look like The Grinch" lol yeah they were that bad even after a more "experienced " tech did this. Bottom line is, these girls are not experienced, they are picking them up and then giving them no training and I would hope and demand, that if you're working on my eyes, you best better be experienced. After having my lashes done at this studio, I noticed one of my lashes was completely straight & brought it to the attention of the technician (Lexi). Her response was "oh-the lashes must have come loose from the rod." No offer to correct in the moment. I called back the next day and spoke with Alexis. I explained the situation and was only offered to "try extensions" to which I replied I was not going back into that salon. There was no offer of refund or even a partial refund. I asked to get a call back from a supervisor/manager and as of now am still waiting additional contact. I was gifted lashes from this business by a friend. While we had a little bit of a rocky start, no fault to the staff directly, they made it right immediately. Once we got past the initial issue, I had issues with my lashes a few sessions in and they did everything they could do to fix my issues. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. They work with my schedule and always follow up with me for reminders and to see how my lashes are. Not every company can be perfect all the time but they work hard at correcting the problems that arise. My lash stylist, Lexi, is amazing. She makes the whole experience fun and makes sure I'm happy every time. Overall, despite the issues I've had, it's always a great experience and an awesome product. 5 stars!!! read more

I would like to note I had a horrible experience at the Amazing Lashes in Goodyear. I called to find out about services and was never told about their memberships. I set up an appt to have a glue test to make sure I would not have any reactions. I did this on 11/19 and then I returned on 11/22 for a full set. I was done at 7pm. They took about 1 hr to put on classic lashes vs 2 hrs as originally told. She did mentioned I had small lashes. She never said I was not a good candidate which I think she should have since that is basically what I was told today..... They wanted my money. They rang up my full set and pushed the brush and cleaner foam which I bought. Then they pushed the membership. It was very sales sales sales. I should of passed on the product but I thought I just investing in the lashes and wanted them to last. I had what I thought was a lot of fall out of lashes on Wed am. I called and they said it was normal and to check back if it continued and today when I went in person to have them checked as they are clearly not lasting it was too late. They said there was only a 3 day guarantee. This was the first time I heard of this. Thur was Thanksgiving. I feel I was within the time frame. She said there were notes in the system that said I had short lashes implying that I might not be a good candidate. Why did they put them on if I was not a good candidate. She asked a manager and said no they can't do anything but could offer me a reduced rate on a gap fill service. Again, wanting to sell me. Thur was a holiday, so I was there within the 3 business days. I am so mad. I will tell everyone I know to not go to this location! They are greedy! I think they should of turned me away vs providing a service they can't stand behind and made it a positive experience vs this horrible customer service experience. read more

I have been to this location maybe 3 times to get my lashes done but third and last time was just ridiculous. First of all $165 for a hybrid full set that is just crazy, they always suggest you getting their membership which I did but every time you go you end up paying extra regardless. Well this last time my lashes didn't even last a full week and they already looked like they needed to be filled BIG time, so I went back to complain in hopes for them to fix it or at least touch it up to where they looked decent as it only had been a week and I was charged a crazy amount of money. Well, the manager was made aware of the issue and didn't even bother to step to the front desk and speak to me so the front desk agent told me her manager said that they had been having issues with the glue and that this could also be due to the weather so I needed to book a touch up session or a fill. Needless to say I cancelled my membership and disputed the charges, customer service was horrible and this is no way of doing business. read more

I called and cancelled my membership in June. Then I see a membership charge on my account for September. When I called they said they have no record of me canceling but she would have someone from Management call me back. Two days later and still no call, I call again. This time they tell me I must have just "froze" my account not cancelled it because they have no record of my cancelation form on file, but someone will get back with me. The next day I received a text that said "since there is no proof of your cancelation on file we cannot reimburse you for your September charge." A TEXT. I obviously have not been in your studio since June when I cancelled. I called and did what I thought needed to be done to cancel my membership. Apparently whoever took the call in June opted to freeze my account and not cancel it and now I'm stuck with a $129.00 payment with no reimbursement. And still not call from anyone in Management. Alicia is the best !! Extremely good at lash application and working with the customer to determine most complimentary length and weight for your eye shape. This location is very personable and accommodating for working people. I have been to other locations prior to Goodyear and they fo not compare. Worth the money! You have to pay more for a master $10 and $20-$25 more for volume so extra $35 and you pay for membership too much and lashes fall out after few days and non-master use to much glue on lashes ugh! Customer service is good, that's it too expensive for lashes then fall out days later. Tried it for 4 months same results, so that means CANCEL!!!!! read more

Customer service is good, however they are very overpriced and the quality is poor. I found lash services elsewhere, 40% cheaper, and 100% better quality. You shouldn't have extreme fall out after two days when following instructions. I went for a fill at my new place, and my previous lashes were done at ALS. I had to have them removed and have a new set placed because the lash artist at ALS used too much glue. This was a short 6 days after I dropped $150 bucks at ALS. I spent $300 on my lashes in 8 days due to a workmanship issue. It's very heartbreaking and I'm disappointed. They really should have a better quality standards at ALS for what they charge. I have been at my new place since January and I love it. I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews, and contemplated leaving this one. However ALS is an overpriced, and the quality/ workmanship isn't there. Nobody should pay $200 for lashes that fall out over 5 days. They do not explain the pricing well and there pamphlet is just as confusing. ALS charges $105 for a 6D volume 2 week refill and the new place charges $65 for the same services.
