This business is a textbook example of how the wrong manager and careless teenage staff can destroy a company from the inside out. Amazing Lash had every advantage -- prime location, heavy traffic, and a growing customer base. But thanks to terrible leadership, all that potential was completely wasted. My experience made it clear why they're failing. I asked basic questions about a membership. The teenage receptionist couldn't answer a single one and acted like I was bothering her for even asking. I told her that if she didn't want to engage with customers, she might want to find another job because she certainly wasn't helping to sell memberships. A few weeks later, I tried to book a fill only to be told I was banned. No one had the professionalism to even notify me. When I called to find out why, I was told the teenager had lied, claiming I threw things at her, cussed her out, and walked out without paying all complete fabrications. And anyone who's ever been to Amazing Lash knows you can't walk out without paying your card is on file. I called twice, asked to speak to the manager for clarification not even because I wanted to return, but because I wasn't going to let someone lie about me. The manager never had the decency to return my calls. That told me everything I needed to know. The owner is completely at fault. I later read reviews from other customers multiple complaints about the same manager across different platforms. And still, nothing was done. You let incompetent management and dishonest teenage employees run your investment into the ground. It didn't have to end this way, but you chose to ignore every warning sign. I don't take pleasure in seeing a business fail, but this was entirely self-inflicted. And that employee? The good is the feeling is very clean, the tech I have been using is awesome. The bad is they are not working mom friendly. They have a policy that no children are allowed, but if you cancel your appointment you get charged for the services anyways. I decided to take my 10 year old w me, took his iPad and ear buds. They refused me service, and charged me for it. They told me they had to put me down as a cancelation/no show. I decided to cancel my membership since once again, I'm a working mom and there will be times, although I try hard not to, when I have to take my kid with me. I asked to be refound half of the membership, they said yes, but it will take some time. Also, it didn't really matter because I was charged for the service they refused me. I understand if the child is killing the relaxing vibe by screaming, walking around etc. But they should be a little more working mom friendly on instances when there is no child care. read more

I have had my lashes on for a week and it has been the most uncomfortable experience ever with extensions. Service was good, and they look great when I left even though one lash fell off before I stepped out and paid. When she was working on them she pinched both my eye lids she apologized and all but the glue got super hard every time I squeezed my eyes to sneeze or anything my lids hurt. Even cleaning them a few would come off because of how bad they dried. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I eventually had to take them off because of how uncomfortable and painful they were. I went in for fullset/removal the process was so unprofessional I had to clean my eyes out in the restroom my eyes were burning walking to the restroom they don't offer lash baths After they put the lash removal chemicals on your eyes!! Than the lash tech didn't even realize I was getting a full set after the removal I was told to get removal because I was a new customer! The room smelt like shit smh so serious not sure why but literally was awful smell even the waiting area had a musty odor smh I only went here to be closer to home but I'll take a long drive elsewhere if it mean getting my money worth !! Now it's Saturday morning I call asking to speak with the manager oh she's not there I can take a message . I was like I need to speak with someone now. She put me on hold to text the manager (Contera )come back to the phone she said she will give you a call still no call as of yet they're quick to take your money out and want to charge you if you are late or need to cancel but when it on behalf, they take their time getting back to you. I have worn lashes for years. I am also a licensed cosmetologist and trained/certified in lash extensions. With that being said here is my review. The atmosphere is great! very chic. It seems clean and it is very welcoming. A good majority of the staff appear to be young. I love that, it gives the ladies experience and a chance. This is something that can go as far as you want to take it. They are all really nice, there may be one or two that need just a tad bit more training in customer service. I have had my initial lashes, a correction, and a refill done which makes three separate visits. I also signed up for the membership. I had the same tech each time. My tech is great. She is very business focused I voice my concerns and she is able to recommend suggestions that make sense. I dont quite understand the need of the membership other than saving $10 on my refills. But hey I still have it. My lashes NEVER seem to last. Day three/four they are about 85% gone. I thought initially it was my oily skin but I completely stopped wearing makeup and started on a very routine face regimen. I even purchased the primer as suggested. This concerns me because my previous lash company I never had this problem. I stayed with them for two years (until I moved out of the state). Prior to that I was with that lash person for 2 years as well and did not have this issue (military spouse I moved allot). On my last visit I consulted with my lash tech and she and I agreed that I would stick with the primer, keep around my eyes clean and dry and see what happens. I am one week in to my refill and I kid you not most of my lashes are gone. I hope that they can remedy this soon. However Ill have to cancel my member ship. Long -short: I kept a star for the lack of longevity, and it seems that this is a problem for multiple customers. The other star - Id like to see some type of interest from the company in trying to remedy the issue with the glue. My lash experience here was a hit or miss. Bianca is really great, and my lashes normally last about 3-4 weeks when done by her. My last (Not by Bianca, btw)appointment was 2 weeks ago, 11/13. It was a FULLSET, and I can count on one hand how many lashes I have on both eyes right now. I take really great care of my lashes as I love having them on everyday. Not for me. I asked for natural and showed pictures. It seemed they rushed it. Took about an hour. They looked comically curved, super thick, all uniform length. (The used 10-12 mm but you couldn't tell a difference throughout the eye line.) When asked to remedy, they charged again, minus some removal charge. This time I was very detailed, the girl trying to help me get "natural" lashes herself had comically thick and long lashes. I think a more high end place will do a better, natural job. I asked about the types they had to make it look more natural, and they didn't seem to offer any suggestions. I have been a member of the Amazing Lash Studio in Summerwood, TX for years. I have always seen people take their kids in there when needed. Well, today my husband had an emergency at his job and I had to take my 6 year old. The director refused service because my son was with me. She told me they are NOW enforcing policy, before they had not been. No new signs were put up, just the same policy (this policy was posted when they had children in the studio). I asked for my money to be returned and she wouldn't do that either. So they refused service and wouldn't return my money. She also wouldn't provide me a way to complain to anyone above her (the director). If you do still choose go there Bianca is an amazing stylist. read more

My regular lash lady is in spring, and I'm just trying to see if I can find a place near my home... and I have to say if I can give this place a zero I would. The technician has to be brand new to the job. Glue everywhere on my eye and in my eyes. Lashes falling off of the corner of my left eye. And the others are hanging on.... And it took her 2 hours for the disaster... will never be back here nor to any amazing lash! I've learned my lesson and I will drive my butt next time, I thought I would give them a chance. $79 for the first time. And the front desk had the audacity to ask for a tip or the technician. My experience at Amazing Lash-Summerwood was not AMAZING!!! Customer Service is everything. Management at this location is definitely lacking in that department. I was introduced to Amazing Lash-Summerwood Location, by a family friend. She was recently employed by the location and needed models for practice. I purchased a monthly subscription and was unable to wear lashes for a while, so I allowed the refill subscription to accumulate until I was able to return. I visited the Summerwood location on November 21st, to make an appointment and cancel my membership temporarily. I didn't have to cancel instead I was offered a suspension for 3 months to allow me time to use the refills purchase. I made an appointment for the following Wednesday, November 28th. I decided to view the transactions on my credit card. I had a charge from Amazing Lash that I didn't authorize. I reached out to the location on Tuesday, November 27th in hopes of reaching a manager to rectify the situation and find out why my card was charged. I was told the manager was unavailable or in meetings. I called again on Wednesday, November 28th, and I was told the same thing the manager was unavailable or in meetings. I then called another Amazing Lash location. The manager at that location helped me. She told me exactly what was purchased. I immediately called the Summerwood Location again, with the information provided and the manager was still unavailable. I explained to the receptionist, I had upcoming appointment for 4:20 and I would appreciate it, if she could reach out to the manager and get some answers to why these charges were on my account. I still didn't get any answers and the manager wasn't available. So, I figured I would go ahead and get my lashes done and by the time I was complete a manager would be onsite to assist me. Well, my lash tech and I went to the suite and she asked, What style I wanted? She then stated, she would be unable to do my lashes because the volume lashes require more time and the person that booked my appointment did not book it correctly. I'm little upset by this time, because time is valuable. I left work early. TIME & MONEY WASTED!!! I explained to the lash tech exactly, what had transpired over the last few days and she reached out to manager. The manager then told her, I purchased the product charged on my card and she would not be giving me a refund because of the product policy. I understand there is a product policy, but you actually have to have a product to honor a policy. Correct? Then manager then stated she viewed the video and she saw me on camera purchasing product and walking out of the store. Wowwww! I couldn't believe what I was being told. I still hadn't spoke to the manager directly but she was speaking to the employees on the phone. I then, asked the receptionist what time would the manager return? She said the manager would not be back for the day, so I left the location. I received a call from the manager. I honestly thought she was calling to rectify the situation because she found an error. I was soooo wrong. She actually called to accuse me of being a thief and stated that I harassed her staff. I actually was very pleasant with the receptionist and staff. The receptionist apologized over and over. I explained to her that she didn't have to continue to apologize, because it wasn't her fault. The manager was the person. I really can't believe that I was talking to store manager and she so unprofessional. She stated, the same thing about the employee told me about the video. I explained to her, that I was right across the street and I would like to come view the video. She told me that she could not allow me to view the video, until she contacted the store owner. I was still in disbelief. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I couldn't believe this lady, that managed a business treated me so poorly, not only was it unprofessional but it was unethical. I then, reached out to my friend. She stated, the manager asked her did she know me? She told her that has known me for over 8 years and that I wasn't the type of person to take from anyone. I received another call from the manager today, Thursday, November 29th. I again thought, she was calling to apologize. She was a little more pleasant today, however she didn't apologize. She then proceeded to ask me if I had a daughter and what was her name? Wowww!!!! Now, this lady has brought my child in the situation. She then said, someone by the name of Tammy signed the receipt for my transaction. Do I think it could have been my daughter. My daughter name isn't Tammy. My daughter wasn't even town this day nor has she ever been to this studio. She explained that she would refund my card for the products purchased to satisfy me. This issue is bigger than a refund now. This lady has assassinated my character and accused both my daughter and I of being a thief. Had several vouchers with them after canceling my membership I was calling to book my last one and apparently it already expired so there goes my 60$. I was told today that they expired in 180 days from the time I cancel. I know that I've used the other vouchers OVER a period of 180 days... so it's ridiculous and confusing as to how now the last voucher is now expired.... yet I canceled the membership last year in April/May and was told my voucher expired in December which is greater than 180days policy is very inconsistent. I was considering to reopen my account because the last stylist I had did an excellent job but bc of inconsistency or services I will never consider now very disappointed! read more

Gave them 3 chances as follows: Full set: I had lashes going in all kinds of unnatural directions. The set was way too heavy and the lashes kept dropping and bothering my eyes/vision... there was nothing I could do so I figured I would address it at my next visit. Refill #1: Explained the 1st visit issues to the stylist and she said she would go lighter to make them feel less heavy. I was pleased with the application, the lashes looked good "direction wise" and felt lighter but, looked thinner. First shower (after the required dry time of 48 hrs) the corner of my right eye was bare, all of the lash extensions washed off, I called the studio and they agree to do a touch up for free, I went in and when I asked what had happened they said that it was probably the water (whatever that means) and that I had to be very careful, because my lash line was sparse in the problem area. After only two applications I had a nearly bare corner lash line?? I should have known that these people didn't know what there were doing by now, but I gave them another chance. The extensions really thin out in 2 weeks and by week three I might as well would have gotten a full set. Refill #2: I have very shot lashes so I thought maybe the extension are too heavy and are damaging my existing lashes. I again told the stylist all the issues from the last refill and discussed changing my lash style from "cute" to "natural" to give my natural lashes some type of relief. Stylist applied the shorter lashes and explained that it would take about 2-3 refills to fully complete the transition. As she is doing the refill she casually mentions that my lashes are breaking out and that I have to be very careful. Once again on the first shower I have empty spots on both eyes. I will not be coming back. BEWARE OF THE CANCELLATION POLICY: It will take 30 day for them to cancel your membership which means they will charge you the membership fee one more time. What a scam! DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS: They have a NO RETURN policy and the products have no seals. Nasty!! Who would want use seal-less products on their face and so close to the eyes. The one stars goes to the front desk staff that for the most part are very friendly. read more

Got my lashes here for the first time and it was ok. The customer service was great and no doubt their staff are extremely friendly but the quality of the work is not all that. I left quite disappointed. One side of the eye is fuller than the other and the senior stylist has to fix it for me and it's still not even. Paid $79 for a fullset and tip $25 which is not bad but $104 is not cheap if it doesn't last me at least 3 weeks. I think the whole amazing lash LLC should trained their staffs more before putting them on the floor to work on a paying client and use them as dummies to practice on..and put the sign in the front suggested tips is $20-40 for fullset putting more pressure on the client as if this is not already a high maintenance thing to do. I gave them a 4 star because in the end I still wish them well but I probably won't come back. read more

Sloppy work (lashes were falling in face for entire day) following morning, I called mgmt. Left a DETAILED message also explaining I was headed out of the country the next morning on vacation. Call was NOT returned. 8 days LATER returning back from vacation. .....call still has not been returned. Ok seems like there is a pattern with this location. Customer Service!!! My lashes were great! TJ is excellent! The front desk service and knowledge is horrible. So with 2 credits left I am being told that the NEW policy is that I have to pay $250 for a new set because I am not a member now. But the credits were purchased as a member! Basically this is designed to where if you cancel you will always be in the hole with them and will never use all your credits at the price purchased! I've been to Amazing Lash Studio Summerwood several times I've seen several stylist but my favorite one is Rebecca everyone else always changes my lashes up from what I want Rebecca always remembers what style and what length I want Rebecca always remembers to remind me that I have to wait before I can wet my lashes some of the other stylists I felt like they were trying to yank my lashes out they never remember you're length or your volume or your style so when you go ask for Rebecca she's amazing she will treat you like a queen and you'll feel like a million bucks when you leave read more

This is by far the worst company I have ever spent my money at. Well let me restate that "forced to spend my money". For starters whenever I signed up for the membership not all the terms were exactly explain detail by detail. Whenever I went to get a refill, I was told I had to pay extra money. Second of all, it is bull crap for being charged $180 out of nowhere after not being charge for three months. I went in and terminated my contract and still got charged. But apparently they said that they have nothing on file on me terminating contract. So i thought I might as will just go use the eyelash credit there's no freaking point, the money is just going to be sitting there not being used or anything. So I decided to go back to where I originally signed up for my membership at Summerwood. I got the volumes and it's $89.99 for the lashes and then $45 extra for the volumes so it was $120, well that wasn't exactly explain to me. Maybe I didn't understand, but still they charge me $180 for the volume lashes which look like shit literally they look like crap one!!! They look like two different eyes completely so horrible this is the most horrible service I've ever received of getting eyelashes done. I've gone to multiple places and never haven't been this bad, my lashes are so ugly like they are horrible! Terrible! Terrible! I kept telling the girl about what was wrong but she just kept saying it was me! I told her that already look like they were coming off and she said that's how they're supposed to be not by eyelash line which every other time I've had them done have look brand new and clean and fresh! First off, if I could give less than one star I would. The establishment itself isn't bad. The people in there is the problem. First time I ever get lash extensions I got girl that did such a poor job, they had to redo the lashes. The asst. manager Angel charged me for removal by the way. So they redo the lashes, from Victoria (who was absolutely AMAZING). So because I was satisfied with how great Victoria's performance was, I let Angel (the asst Manager) talk me into joining the membership. Before agreeing, I asked her several questions, such as, if cancel will there be a fee, and is there a minimum amount of time I need to have the membership before I can cancel, are there any fees associated with the cancellation, ETC. She assured me that once I cancel, then that it's and I am done. No fees, nothing of that nature. I happen to find someone who is closer my house so I went to cancel the membership. Low and behold, I have to pay another 60 dollars even though I no longer want their service and I have 30 days to use it, or it expires. She flat out lied to me.
