Came into my appt and low and behold the person who input my info put my phone number and email wrong and because of that they cancelled my appt because it wasn't confirmed. Unfortunately because of their mistake they can not accommodate me today. I told her I'm leaving tomorrow for a wedding. I'm beyond pissed off and the fact that they take your credit card info to book appointments but yet they mess up in putting phone numbers AND emails makes me question their reliability as workers. I'm sure the lash techs are great but you just lost a potential frequent customer all because someone can not type correctly. And after that the person up front had the nerve to say, I hope you have a good rest of your day. Didn't even seem to be sincere or care that I was pissed off. read more

I have been getting my lashes done here for almost 2 years. They were meant to be only for a special event, but I am hooked! The ladies at the front desk are so friendly and pleasant. They make you feel so welcome. My stylist is Jaelyn, she is amazing. She pays such attention to detail, my lashes are always perfect and last a long time. I was excited to hear they were opening back up. Not happy to find out that they were only doing a fill, and I would have to pay the difference for a full set. Clearly I would need more since they have been closed since March, but if people are willing to come back to your business you should wave that additional fee. Out of principle I'm canceling my membership. Please note that this review has nothing to do with their techs, but the management and owners not valuing customers. Doubtful I'll hear from the owners, but they should consider taking care of returning customers. I had my lashes done several weeks ago. I wanted to wait to provide a review until I could see how the lashes would hold up, as this was my first time getting lash extensions. I would first like to state that my issue with this establishment is NOT with the stylist. The stylist, Erica did a wonderful job on my lashes. My issue is with the front desk. I was given a gift card to try Amazing Lash Studio. I went online and I signed up for the introductory offer and my gift card covered that amount. After having my lashes done, I was given a long robotic explanation about lash care and other offers by someone at the front desk. I, personally, did not care for that part of the experience and was so turned off by the long impersonal up sale bit that I declined the "deal" for a reduced amount for subsequent visits. The desk assistant seemed offended and explained that by not agreeing to the deal that I would be charged more for return visits. I told her, I didn't know if I would be returning. When the same assistant rang up my charges, it was $40 above the introductory rate of $89.99 and above the amount of the gift card. I asked why and was told that there is an additional charge for seeing a "master" stylist. The front desk assistant said that they communicate that information over the phone when an appointment is made. I explained that this was news to me, as I was never informed of this "policy." The desk person then said that notification was also in their emails confirming appointments, etc. I showed her the texts/email and neither mentioned the up charge for the services of "master stylists." After a few exchanges of "we told you over the phone" and me saying that they did not, I paid and left. In summation, I was very happy with the lashes, but beware and ensure you know what the total cost is for the stylists that you are scheduled to visit. read more

I am very disappointed with my experience at the Woodbridge salon. I first scheduled my appointment for Sunday, August 28 at 10 AM for a lash removal & new, full set. As I was pulling up to the salon, I received a phone call saying my appointment had been cancelled due to the artist calling out. I was also told that I could not get in for another few days. I understand things happen, so I rescheduled my appointment for 3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 30. I showed up to my appointment 15 minutes early. The staff was nice & went over all the paperwork with me. We talked about the removal process & getting new lashes put on. My appointment started right on time, but after getting my previous set removed, the lash artist informed me that I would have to come back at a later date to get my new set put on since the removal product would make new lashes hard to stick. I was very upset about this news, as I needed my lashes done before I left town on Saturday morning. After talking to the front desk, she said that she would try the best that she could do. I selected the Gorgeous Set & we got started. When the lash artist was done applying my lashes, I was very disappointed with what I saw. The Gorgeous set was supposed to be "thick and full", which my lashes were not. We went up to the front desk & another lash artist offered to look at her work. She said that there were lashes on just about every one of my lashes, but from what it sounds like I was wanting, I would need a volume set which has 3 lashes instead of one. I asked if there was any way we could do that instead. She told me that the salon does not currently offer the Volume, but I could come back in a few weeks & they would have artists trained to do it. This was very upsetting to be told Amazing Lash offers a product that would fit what I want, but they would not be able to do it at that time. When I returned to the front desk, the associate repeated the information about the volume set, but told me that the volume set would have 4 lashes attached & they would not be offering this service until closer to the holidays. It seems that the artists & the front desk associates had very different information about the procedure & the time frame of when they would be offering it. Up until this point, I had been very interested in getting a membership, but since the salon associates do not have proper information, tools or training about the services they offer, I have decided that I will take my business elsewhere. Despite the last-minute rescheduling, less than average product & misinformation throughout the entire salon, I was only offered a $10 discount & was still pressured into signing up for a membership. I really had high hopes for this salon, but it seems that there needs to be better training to all staff. I will not be returning to the Potomac Town Center location. read more

This company started off on the wrong foot with me. First I made an appointment to see a tech who was recommended to me. When they canceled my first appointment and rescheduled they gave me someone else without telling me. I found out about the bait and switch after I got there. I went along with the appointment and rescheduled to see the same tech I was supposed to see the first time. Then she had a family emergency so my appointment was canceled again. I decided a few days later to can the membership. The woman who took the call had a MAJOR attitude. I was sent a cancellation form in which i signed and emailed back the very next day. All of this happened in less than two weeks and they still charged my card for $70 for services I did not receive. This is the 2nd review I wrote because I was nice enough to give them another chance and deleted the first review. But since they were sneaky and lied about cancelling the $70, I decided to put the review back. Don't do business with these folks. When I came in I was greeted very nicely. They made me feel welcome. Chanel was my tech and she was very nice. Upon looking at my new lashes I was ecstatic. I am so so so so happy with my lashes. Chanel goes above and beyond with accommodating me as well. I booked an appointment for lashes 2 weeks prior to my appointment on July 29, 2021 at 12:20. I was only ask that I show up 10 minutes prior to my appointment time to complete paperwork. Two days prior I received a text message to confirm my appointment, which I did so. The day prior to my appointment, I received a text message stating that if i didn't put an active credit card on file by 7:00 pm my appointment would be canceled. This was not mentioned at the time of making the appointment nor was it mentioned in the text that I received to confirm mu appt. To add insult to injury, the lash tech stated that she could do my lashes because they were not long enough. I find this difficult to believe since this is the service your company proclaim to prefect. I would never recommend or consult with this company again. I took off a half day of work to have this service done before my travel. Go figures, professional but not professional. It took more than 2 1/2 hrs to get my lashes done and still didn't look amazing like the name of studio. My lashes didn't come all the way to the other end of my eyes. For some reason, I got an email from Yelp stating that my review was removed because there was not enough "detail about my experience". Well, I will post this again, even if I don't remember the name on the person who did my lashes. I was coming here for, probably about 6 months in 2017. Joy did such a good job. She was honest about any questions I had. I called to make an appointment, and she was no longer there. So, I made an appointment with someone else. For one, I totally understand people needing to eat. Especially if you carry multiple jobs, or the type of job you may have, such as a lash stylist, you eat between clients. But, the girl who I was set with, literally was taking bites and chewing while doing my lashes. I considered telling her to please stop eating or if I could have someone se finish, but realistically, who is going to do that when they can't open their eyes? Definitely not me. I always like my lashes full and told her who was doing mine until she left, and she said "ok". However, the lashes she did definitely did not even last two weeks and a BUNCH of them were falling out. I did call twice to speak to a manager and left my number with whomever (i don't remember the name now) at the front desk, yet never received a call back. I've been a member at this studio since 2018. Over the past several months, I have gotten so fed up with the management of this place I will be finding a new studio. Clearly there is a serious management issue keeping good technicians from sticking around here. Until the past 6 months, I had the same stylist for 2 years. When she left, I had another one for a year. Since then, it's a revolving door of technicians. I've had 2-4 new stylists in the past 3 months because they can't keep anyone on staff. I went in on Sunday for my appointment and was told that my latest technician has now also left. (I didn't get any communication about my appointment being cancelled, btw). But I rescheduled for Wednesday with another stylist. On Tuesday, I got a call that the stylist I scheduled an appointment with two days ago has now also left the company. This is ridiculous! This location needs to find a manager who knows how to treat employees right or they will lose all their staff and customers! read more

The manager of this place is awful. I believe her name is Nini. Constantly scolding the front desk girl(s) in front of customers. She had the nerve to give me a lecture about having my 14 year old daughter with me, as if I had brought a toddler to run around the lobby. She literally said, "You might want to leave her at home next time, we don't babysit kids". My daughter is technically old enough to walk around to stores and shop, but instead asked to sit quietly and read. I was so offended that I almost walked right back out, but had an event and really needed my lashes done. The lashes were ok, but I couldn't get over the rudeness. I went back for a fill, and nothing had changed. Same rude lady, scolding the newest front desk person trying to figure out their job. I canceled my membership and will not be back. I wanted to try to get my lashes lift and the result was horrible. When the technician was done it looked like nothing was done and my lashes looked the same way I came in. The customer service of this place is absolutely awful. I really did not want to review them, but after my service yesterday and the treatment I received I am compelled to. First let me say that my stylist are wonderful; however, the "Manager" needs to go back to Customer Service 101. She is the company's single point of failure. Two weeks ago, I was double charged. Not realizing that the shop would be closed for Presidents Day, I left three messages advising them of the double payment. So, I called on Tuesday only to be told that the Manager, Fawn, was the only person who could issue the refund and that they got my message. On Wednesday, I still had not received notice of my refund and questioned as to why. Again I was told the Manager would be getting to it! Are you kidding me? So, I looked up the owner and sent him a message explaining the situation. I received a message later and in the day apologizing and telling me the Manager would be issuing the refund and she allegedly called me to apologize. The message from the owner was an hour before my alleged call. Now fast forward to Saturday. My service with Jen was Fab. And, I have to pre-book either her or Jasmine weeks out in advance. As I am checking out, I'm told my next appointment will have to be rescheduled as Jen is off and Jasmine no longer works at the establishment. I am astounded as I am also told that Jasmine (who my appointment was with) departed weeks prior. So, my question was, when was I going to be made aware of this schedule change. Eventually, the "Manager" Fawn, decided to assist the young lady at the desk. She told me that they were in the process of making calls and that some customers had booked out to May with Jasmine. Who cares? This is March! I said, when the mess was going on with my money, I should have been advised about a reschedule at that time. She goes on to tell me that had I returned her call she would have told me. Well I didn't return your call as the only message was that a refund had been issued. There was NO mention of me having to reschedule. And as this conversation is taking place, the only thing this "Manager" didn't do was to roll her eyes or snap her fingers. So here's some advice from a real Manager: Empower your people who you've entrusted with your front desk operations to not only take money, but offer refunds when necessary. Train them and if they have to call management before making refunds that's understandable. That would have prevented the first debacle! Secondly, understand the value of your customer base and more importantly, always maintain your professionalism. read more

I tried hard to like this place, but after multiple issues I gave up. This location needs work on their customer service and lash tech training. With the length of time it takes to get a full set or refill, I expect better quality. I have tried more than one tech here and I only had a good experience with a couple. I kept trying to have faith that things would get better, but they didn't. Some of the techs aren't very friendly and seem to have a "bothered" attitude. I booked for regular eyelash extension advertised for $99, the studio was very clean. it took 2 hours , when I was done, the right eyelash was perfect but the left one was not an even straight line, some lashes up, some down and a gap in the middle. After She failed to fix it , I went to the front desk, there I was surprised they charged me almost double $165, NO QUALITY work and up-charge. The two employees at the front were whispering in each other ears (planning what to do with me)in front of me, behind the counter,( which I found extremely rude) , they offered to schedule me next day for re - do, because my left eyelashes was looking ridiculously ugly. And she said they charged me extra for volume , That I did not ask for, also she offered to give me a discount if I sign up for membership. She also whispered she will schedule you with better one. Since they could not find convenient scheduling for me neither they could fix the price, I decided to leave to go pick up my toddlers, and call the manager later for help. After 3 days When I spoke to the manager she did not help at all , all I heard from her was excuses, She mostly blamed me, she keeps repeating we wanted to schedule you next day but you could not make it. She ignored the fact the they up charged me, I also mentioned by the 3rd day half of the mashed fell , she did not offer to fix it. explained that I have 2 toddlers I have to find some to babysit them , I cannot simply take which ever opening you have, also they should have done it right in the first place. My left eyelash fell completely by the first week. Anyway I felt from the way the manager and the employees behave that sadly the service and quality of work the customer receives depend on your accent and skin color . I ll never go back. read more

I have a membership with amazing lash I've been in about 5 maybe 6 times. Unfortunately I never see the same person b/c my appointment gets canceled or the person is no longer there. I had an appointment this pass Saturday which is my second appoint post covid. I saw Rachel she was very nice and sweet,but she doesn't like wearing her mask. I asked her nicely if she wouldn't mind pulling her mask over her nose and she did but I could tell she was annoyed. She had half my lashes on the first eye done and I could feel her breathing all over my face. Needless to say I didn't leave her a tip and I deffinatly won't be back to see her. Seriously disappointed. I honestly feel bad because the girls who work there were very nice, but I just can't give a good review based on that. I assumed this place would be the best choice to get a full set of new lashes considering that's all they do! Also, your first set is only $89 compared to the normal $250. If I had paid $250 for these lashes I'd probably be crying. They just don't look good, plain and simple. I feel like these are what you'd get if you paid $50 at some random nail salon that offers this service. I went with the glamour set as I usually use false strip lashes and assumed this would be most similar to those. I can tell you my fake strip lashes look 10x better. Some lashes clustered together while others are far apart. Some are put on sideways and awkwardly curling into the ones that were put on straight. Some are put on almost at the end of my real lashes so are basically hanging off and look ridiculous (which I posted a picture of). They look messy and there's no symmetry between the eyes. I don't think the lashes on the inner corner of my eyes should be as long as the ones on the outer corners, but hey, what do I know. I'm honestly just really disappointed especially since I leave for vacation today and if it weren't for that I'd probably be getting them removed. Also, the "tape" that they use and put all over the sensitive parts of your skin (under eyes, brows, etc) REALLY doesn't feel good when it's taken off multiple times.
