They carry a wide variety of products, especially for hair care, so it's convenient if you need to pick up a little bit of everything in one stop. They have wigs, hair color, styling tools, press on nails, beauty accessories, and more. The wig selection was actually pretty good, with options ranging from around $20 to well over $200, so there are choices for different budgets. The associate who helped me was friendly and genuinely tried to assist, although there seemed to be some confusion about the store policy that limits customers to trying on three wigs at a time. Since I don't normally wear wigs, narrowing down my options in just three try ons made the process a bit challenging. The only downside for me was that the store felt a little more cluttered and less organized than I expected from a long established business. That said, it's still a convenient neighborhood beauty supply with a solid selection, and it's a good place to stop when you need hair products or beauty essentials close to home.

Customer service definitely needs better customer service. Thank you, Ronald for your good customer…read moreservice. You seen me!!! You get 5 stars but your store gets one star!!!

During my visit, I had an unfortunate experience with a makeup artist whom I believe was named Kai. My companion and I were simply using a mirror near her makeup station when she approached us and abruptly told us not to touch anything. Rather than politely explaining that the area had been sanitized for the next customer and asking us to use a different mirror, her approach felt unnecessarily confrontational. What made the interaction even more uncomfortable was that she then returned and covered the entire station with cloths, which made us feel as though we had done something wrong or were somehow unwelcome. I later spoke with the manager, Taylor, hoping to discuss the situation. Unfortunately, I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously, and the conversation was not particularly helpful. The manager also would not confirm the employee's name, making it difficult to provide accurate feedback. I understand that the store was extremely busy, and I appreciate the challenges that come with managing a high-volume retail environment. However, customer service and professionalism should never be compromised. After years of being a loyal Sephora customer, this experience left me disappointed and reconsidering where I choose to shop. Going forward, I will likely be taking my business to Ulta instead. I hope Sephora uses this feedback as an opportunity to reinforce the importance of courteous communication and customer care.

A few weeks ago, my youngest daughter said she was out of the Pokeman Lip Cream. Well, she told me this after I came back from Las Vegas LOL. So, I had to seek out the lip cream elsewhere that is closer to home. Luckily, there is a Shibuyala in Temple City, CA. YAY! So here I am... what a fun + colorful place to find cosmetics and beauty stuff! The lady staff was super nice and lovely. I didn't waste any time. I asked and I shall receive. The lady knew exactly what I was looking for. She led me to the lip creams immediately. I bought 3 of them. They are $11 a pop... a bit pricey, but hey, our lips deserve tender loving care, too. My daughter was very pleased and so was I. We now don't have to wait until our next Las Vegas trip to get amazing & moisturizing lips LOL. Funny, I was informed this shop has been here for over 10 years LOL. I guess if you don't look, you won't find. I will be back from here on out now that I know they are in So Cal. Let's all beautify today!

I had bought face cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, and lip moisturizer at the Yelp event. After using these products for a week or so, I noticed my face was lighter, smoother, and softer. It's the real deal folks! Soon after, I went online and bought one of their bath and body sets. I haven't opened the box yet. I intend to use the products soon. I got a 15% off discount on my online purchase for Mother's Day Special. Thank you LATHER! I look forward to better health and beauty for years to come.

TLDR: give it a try! It's a great introductory to laser skin treatment. Do not expect overnight…read moreimmediate results. Staff is great! Don't be late! Let me preface by saying my skin is already pretty good; concerns are light acne scarring and large pores. My skin is clear and smooth for the most part thanks to my acne meds and receiving facials from an esthetician years prior to combat my acne. I saw the ad on Facebook for the first facial laser treatment to be 50$ and figured why not! Seems like a good deal. I was required to fill out medical information prior to my appointment which is standard, I've gotten a laser facial before (4 years ago now at a different place) and they want to make sure whatever you are on medication wise doesn't interact with the treatments. I received text reminders about my appointment and the day of I received a text with instructions on where to park and where they were located. I am familiar with Downtown Pasadena and know it can be a little busy so I made sure to get here early! The place itself is a small office so I can see why being on time is important. The interior was welcoming, the front staff was friendly, the decor is lively with semi private seating areas to have your consultation. I met with Dailee for my consultation and she was really sweet, informative and easy to talk to. She went over the treatments they offer along with membership promotions, it did not feel pushy at all. Bilal was my nurse. He was also informative and efficient in going over what the treatment would do, how it would feel, and how to care for my skin afterwards. Both Dailee and Bilal were upfront on treatments needing to be consistent to see a major difference. The laser treatment itself was very quick and painless. I have tough skin and it just felt like a hot compress was being wiped over my face. Afterwards Bilal rubbed in serum and SPF so I was good to go! For the next 24 hours gentle cleanser, gentle moisturizer and minimal sun contact. I am not able to commit to the memberships or consistency needed so I did not sign up. I also have skincare I already like using so I did not purchase any products. I do appreciated the information on products, treatments, and promotions they offer though, nothing felt pushy. I will absolutely be back to do a more intense treatment for my face and neck.

I wasn't trying to treat wrinkles or remove freckles. If anything, the laser worsened my rosacea and made my already sensitive skin more sensitive. The receptionists/sales ladies were always very friendly. However, the main issue I had was the inconsistency with expertise. I had a different technician at every session and received very different information and advice. One technician literally refused to laser my face that day because my skin was already agitated, whereas previous technicians proceeded anyway. Some technicians (including some receptionists) strongly suggested the "duo" treatment, which ended up aggravating my skin and resulted in a couple of surprise zits. Interestingly enough, the technician at a later session told me I should NOT get the duo as it would be too much for my skin and I didn't need it. Inconsistencies. Case in point. So, while I don't think this business deserves a one star review, I do agree that it's definitely not for everyone. I also really disliked being asked to tip at the end of every session. Despite the initial promo, the treatments were still quite expensive. Call me the cheap a-hole all you want, but I never did leave a tip. I didn't get any results. I also don't tip my dentist and those cleanings require more skill.
