I am a relatively new Sierra Madre resident and I was impressed with this nail salon. I called to see if they had availbility for a walk in pedicure the day before Valentines Day. They said yes! Upon arrival I was immediately greeted and seated in a spa chair. Mary was the woman who did an amazing and quick job on my pedicure. She also was very kind and offered me water before she began. This has been the only nail salon that I have EVER been to that allowed me to stay seated until my nails actually dried. This place has amazing customer service, kind people and did amazing work. I got a pedicure here not that long ago and it's completely done wrong. They cut the corners of your toenails and when that's done it creates ingrown toenails. I don't have any ingrown toenails but this is making me paranoid. Excessive cutting on my skin and when I showered that night it literally burned. TLDR, they do not do pedicures correctly, unless it was just one tech I got who cuts like that. Any nail technician knows to cut straight to prevent ingrown toenails. read more

Amazing service yet again but this review is specifically for Nina. Nina was originally reception today, but took me for my pedicure and she did amazing. She was helping people check in/out and was picking up the phone while doing my nails. She was very apologetic for stopping often but I didn't mind because I understood, however I did appreciate it. Even though she was doing multiple things while doing my pedicure, my pedicure came out beautifully. Thank you Nina, and per usual Cindy did an amazing job on my manicure. Worst experience of my life. Lied about how long it would take ...said 1hr to one hour and 15 minutes. At an hour 45 minutes I had to leave for another appointment and couldn't even finish the service I paid for. I kept asking...almost done? At the end she said....u don't want the stone massage? I told her I had no time. I let her know the entire service that I was on a schedule. Manicurist lied about price, said $69 and ended up $120. I only had tips done, one color, not fancy. No apology, just a smile and asked if I wanted a pedicure to ask for her the next day. I came in for a gel builder manicure after calling ahead to specifically request that service. Unfortunately, the technician seemed either uninformed or confused, as he started applying acrylic powder instead. It felt like he was unfamiliar with gel builder techniques--my nails came out very thick and clumpy, and although I pointed it out and he tried to thin them, the result was still not what I expected. There's no apex, the nails feel bulky, and he didn't trim my cuticles at all. The salon itself was busy, which I don't mind, but it wasn't particularly clean--there were a lot of flies, and the environment felt rushed and overbooked. While they did have a good color selection, there was no extra care or attention to detail. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend Aria Nails Spa. The lack of communication, poor execution, and chaotic atmosphere made this a disappointing experience overall. read more

I like the area and how cute it is inside... the customer service is good, they took my sis and I for same day appointment. They have many workers which is very pleasing to me. They all know what they are doing and are really fast. Jenny did my gel x and Cindy for deluxe gel pedicure. They are really sweet and do good work. It's my first time here so I'm quite pleased. It is easy parking on street and back. I like how they have a back area too which makes it easy to accommodate customers. A decent size nail salon. They charge $4 to take off gel every time you come. I am not satisfied with that but it is what it is. Literally life is expensive as a woman and prices are increasing on the daily. However, you get what you pay for, I am satisfied. I come in here a lot to get my nails done, and the overall service is pretty good. When you walk in, it's like any other nail salon, and you just sign in like usual. I picked a color for my French tips, and they came out nice. But the polish wasn't as close to my nail as I would like, but they were perfect and not clumpy or anything. Another time, I went and just did a clean-up on my nails, and they did well, no clumps or anything. Most recently, I got a gel manicure done, and it was nothing out of the ordinary. The finish was good, but there were a few bumps; however, it wasn't noticeable unless you're up close. French tips and gel were done by Nina, I believe, and she was very nice, and whenever I asked to fix up my nails in any way, she would do exactly what I asked for. 2 months ago I did gel I was told to ask for Ivy by a friend She was the rudest person ever I went back to take them off and Ivy by chance was given to me, again rudest person and attitude The job was done right but customer service is key for me. Today I went for a basic manu and pedi They hate people who don't upgrade and then they start talking their language You say one thing, they talk again Lisa did my toes and I asked to please not cut top cuticles, her body language went crazy and I even told her please don't get mad. Like I have to tell her to not get mad. I should be relaxing but impossible to feel relaxed and wanted as a customer. Shame on management for allowing this kind of behavior. After I went to get my hair done upstairs and notice my pedicure, that looked horrible and my hair dresser noticed also. I went back to show them, yes they wanted to fix it but I had to wait for the same person, and then the whole place starts talking their language and make you feel like shit. I can't praise this nail salon enough. I'm super picky about how my nails are done and this place is so consistent with the quality. When you enter you check in on the iPad and select the services you would like. The woman at the front is always super friendly and helps you out right away. Payment is easy. You can use cash or card and you can tip the artists via Venmo is you don't have cash. I got gel x nails with chrome gel polish and Ivy did a phenomenal job. I appreciate that she checks in each step of the way to ensure you're satisfied with the shape, file, etc. I also got a basic pedicure and Mary was great too. I could tell she paid attention to detail. Parking is easy even if you come during the day. There's a lot around the corner if you can't find a spot in front of the salon. read more

Brought my 6 family members in today and wasn't happy about the service. It was very disorganized. They rush you to see the menu of what you want and didn't do what was on the menu. My friend sadder for the $82 service with stone, massage and nothing was done. The lady working on my feet stabbed me a couple of times with the toe clips. My feet are still dirty. Not friendly at all. My daughter was walking barefoot to the bathroom. They didn't bother giving her flip flops. The bathroom was filthy. The massage chair stopped working after a minute. They offered us a gross cookie. No water, etc. The floors were dirty and the nail drier was filthy. My feet are still in poor condition. I have been coming here for several years and have been fairly satisfied with the service. I only get a regular manicure and pedicure - no gels. IA couple of weeks ago I made an appointment which they accepted. I arrived several minutes before my appointment time and was told to wait. The place was packed. I waited close to 35 minutes for a spot to open up. I had the pedicure first and had to remind them that I also wanted a manicure. The woman, who I assume is the owner, was looking around frantically to see where she could seat incoming clients. As soon as my manicure was done, she came to me and said that I was ready to leave and practically escorted me to the door. As someone else said, if they can't take you, just say so. I had a really disheartening experience here. I had a previous review that I removed because of the patterns I've seen at this salon 1. I usually get gel X here. I was told the second time I came in to leave the nails on and they'd be able to fill them or properly remove them. I agree. My third visit here I came in, told the woman at he front (I assume she's the manager) this exact story. I have gel x, I would love a to get Gel x again. She INSISTED I get gel builder and that I NEEDED gel builder even though I always get gel x. So I did. Gel builder was $90 vs the $60 I pay for gel x. She didn't notify me of this. I tipped my manicurist $25 before being notified of the full price. So I paid $115 alone for the manicure. Wasn't notified of this price jump AT ALL. AND my cuticle in my middle finger was swollen for a week and a half after this service. 2. I got a gel pedicure. I chose the basic pedi for $30. I picked it out and showed the technician working on my pedicure that I wanted the basic pedi. I was charged $55 for this pedicure which I think was representative of a classic pedi not the basic. Why charge me $55 when I specifically pointed to the classic pedi on the menu of prices the shop provided? Also, I have basic polish on the toes. They chipped the next day. I tipped the woman $25 which leads to my next point 3. I assumed that I was paying around $100 for the pedi + gel BUILDER manicure. I was instructed to tip before getting the final price. I'd been here two other times and it wasn't an issue for me because Ei knew the price. When the price came out to a total of $149.99, I was SHOCKED. Especially for the extremely basic nails I got. 4. The woman who stands in as manager and organizes appointments and customers was extremely rude to me whilst showing hospitality to literally everyone else. She gave me a hard time about getting gel builder. ALSO the last two times I'd been there, I was told I couldn't schedule appointments. Including during this appointment, as instructed by this manager. But I watched several women get scheduled for appointments 2-3 weeks out. I have never been rude, I give tips, I don't give anyone a hard time. But I can't be rescheduled for an appointment? read more

Highly recommend their deluxe pedicure from here! They do a fantastic job and conveniently located near coffee shops and lots of parking. They use lots of nice things from masks to lotion to scrubbing and hot wax. They also know how to massage really well. I am falling asleep when they finally massage my legs. Anyways - great place!
