Sooooo this is my go to place for chicken I absolutely love "LOVED" Ambassadors Chicken HOWEVER !!! So while in Newark, my wife and I heard about the Ambassador Fish & Wings spot on South Orange Avenue form a friend of hers who swears by them having the best wings in town. So, we drop in on them before we left Newark. It reminds me of a Chinese takeout place. The location there in is not ethically pleasing to the eye but I enjoy places like this. It unexpected and most good foods come from areas and places that people find seedy. So, for those of you who want wings that are not greasy, overly salty and crunchy enough for you to sink your teeth into, then this is the spot. Just don't forget to bring cash. If you're looking for Buffalo wings don't go there because they don't sell them. They sell fried wings with hot sauce on the side. But just decently good, as it should be for just fried chicken wings and fries. First impressions are everything, right? Well, I was disappointed when I saw how small the wings are. They were like mini wings, but they were yummy. The fries were a tad bit overcooked but ketchup brought them back to life. Overall, I don't think it was worth almost $7.00 but it was good. I would most likely go back, but I am definitely not in a rush.
