They're not a large conglomerate, whose business model focuses on revenue, versus quality of care for its residents. Every aspect of her care and her well-being is their concern, from trivial to serious. Their operational standards most certainly meet and/or exceed our expectations. We're most impressed with their culinary program, in that all meals are homemade on-site, and, they grow much of their own produce. They're proud of their garden, and very well should be! I go to a lot of these types of places and they are all the same, so far, from what I have seen…read more I'm usually at these various living facilities anywhere from 3:00 to 5 hours and will I like how small this one is with two small houses for probably no more than a dozen residents if that in each house, there are zero engagement. I've been there from morning to afternoon and afternoon to evening and there's no engagement with the staff and the residents Beyond giving them food and very very occasionally bouncing a ball with them. There's no activities, art projects, exercise, just nothing at all. They have a TV on and that is literally it the entire day. The TV usually is at a volume that no one can even hear which is bizarre, since I have perfect hearing and all of the residents probably have to use hearing aids or can't hear it all. What they usually have on would be suitable for grade school children. It's just really strange. Living facilities are immensely expensive and no insurance covers it, so if I was ever going to put a family member in a place like this, they better be engaging the residents, interacting with them at least on an hourly basis, and doing more than just meal prep and getting them to and from the bathroom or their bedrooms. The staff are nice, though the majority are far too young. They seem to hire 18 to maybe 22-year-olds on average which is just strange. I guess cuz they can get away with paying them less? Not really sure.

Then, the wonderful people at Butte Home Health and Hospice showed up at my door, bringing with them the care and advice I needed to find my way forward. Now, after five weeks of in-home visits from their talented, professional staff, my life is wholly better, and I no longer fear I'll have to leave my home. Everything about this terrific non-profit is dedicated to their client's needs and well-being. Visits are organized to provide a seamless bridge from immobility to independence, through skilled application of exercise practice and advice. Everyone who came to help - home health nurse, physical therapist, and medical social worker - were kind, warm-natured, and gently encouraging. I am particularly grateful to Erik Karchev, whose knowledge and talent as a physical therapist enabled me to experience a renewed mobility that I despaired I'd never feel again, and my pain level has decreased noticeably. A lot of good can come from working with skilled and dedicated professionals, and working with Butte Home Health and Hospice has truly improved my life. I now have hope that I can continue to live independently in my home, and, at 73 years old, discovering a new hopefulness is amazing!

Many, however, transferred to Butte Home Health so the transition has been good. The RN is the most important and crucial, right? We met Pamela for her first visit and it only took minutes to be comfortable again. She is the personification of excellence, and I feel my wife has a concierge doctor/nurse when she is here and an advocate for her health. Today, Butte authorized a portable oxygen machine so that we have some additional options to go out and about. From medication organization and ordering to specific needs, we have appreciated each person, from Shannon, the social worker, to Theresa in PT, Chaplain Hugh, we feel so lucky. If this review can help others, then it is worth the time to have done it. All companies will have similar manuals, but it will always be the people and the human touch that determines their effectiveness. Butte Home Health deserves a huge thank you.

Well, this will be a review that I seldom have occasion to write............there is not one aspect…read moreof my experience with The Courtyard that I would say "I think they could do a better job with this!" My dear friend rented a studio apartment here for her end-of-life hospice care. The staff worked very closely with the Enloe Hospice team and provided excellent supportive care for my friend. The office staff is personable and efficient, making the paperwork side of things very easy. Each person who came in our room knew about our situation which tells me the communication between staff is very good. Caregivers were very caring and made a point of making sure all family/friends were comfortable as well as the patient. Meals were easily individualized for her and offered in an attractive manner. We were able to bring many things from her home and make the studio a warm, welcoming place to be. Loved ones were able to be with her any time of the day and night............and we were made to feel welcome, not in the way! My friend paid them the highest compliment by stating she felt very safe there. Anytime she called for help she received an immediate response. She was able to die a peaceful death with friends at her side. Many thanks to the team at the Courtyard for making this happen.

I do make sure to always give them a plan of what needs to be done. The administrators are usually very good, but every now and then my call gets "lost." But all-in-all I trust this service and will continue to use them.
