Cut some if you need to get any matted hair out. She came back completely shaved. "Instructions unclear". It's a cat. Ask the higher up staff. Don't just shave it, what the heck man. Her hair never grew back the same because she was so old. This was around 3 years ago. I'll never forgive or forget.

I've been going here since we moved to Stansbury in October of 2016. I went there to buy dog and…read morecat food. I stopped going there because I absolutely fell in love with everyone @ Ma & Paw's in Salt Lake PLUS their raw goats milk is $2.00 less. That is a HUGE difference & made me wonder why their mark up is so much. Anyway...we got a second dog who needs groomed. I asked on Facebook for names of good groomers. The two recommendations I received were not here. I like convenience & want my grandchild to be able to take her there walking. I decided to ask about the cost. I went in, they quoted me a price of $40 bucks for Face, Feet & Fanny. Being new at this, they explained the different services they offered. This is what I made an appointment to get. They had none for about a week but that was okay. On the appointed day, I made sure our pup had no tangles. We brush her regularly and do her 'fanny' too. I knew it would be somewhat traumatic because this was her first time. She is SUPER energetic, too. To 'be still' for a while wouldn't be easy for her. I brought her in on the appointed day. We had spoken about blow dry vs kennel drying. If she 'stood' for the blow drying, they would. It took less time than they told me. I picked her up & they had done a good job and what I had asked. No surprises in the price. I HAVE to have a firm price before doing business with someone. They told me it would be more if she had tangles, etc. I knew she didn't because I had brushed her. She was 'good' on her report card. I think they were probably being a little nice. Not that she is bad but I can just imagine how strange this experience was for her. I will go back again. I like the folks who work there. The prices for their product is too high for me. Perhaps they have to buy in a lesser bulk than others & have to charge the prices they do. I am over that way often and if I see a food marked down, I will check it out.

"We turn down 15 appointments a day, we don't need your business," is what the receptionist said to…read moreme. I made a mistake with daylight savings "spring forward" time change and called to ask if I could still bring my dog for the scheduled procedure. The receptionist told me with ZERO sympathy that they were keeping the $75 deposit I had given. She was extremely uncaring as she told me this was their policy for no-shows (even though the website says the no-show fee is $50.) I asked her why she was behaving so harshly and unsympathetic, and the quote I opened this review with was the answer she gave, "We turn down 15 appointments a day," which she claimed was the answer of her manager and the "one doctor" at the hospital. I told the receptionist that I had to tell my son's cardiologist the same thing that morning--that I had made a mistake with the daylight savings time change and that they were totally understanding and caring, AND still saw him that day. My experience with Stansbury Animal Hospital is making a down payment of $75 and being rudely told they were keeping that due to a mistake that I am certain many people make on the first business day of "spring forward." I was ready to give an additional down payment so that I could reschedule the services when the receptionist told me they don't care about my business, or that of the friends and family with whom I would share this negative experience. I have had experience with another animal hospitals before coming here. Never ever had an issue like this. I thought I'd just try a new place a little closer to home, but I will be going back to the other animal hospital we used.

Before we found our new family member at Goldendoodles Utah, I did a lot of research on the breed…read moreand then on the breeders. I was quite impressed with the testimonials given about Goldendoodles Utah that I found on the internet. Now I see why I saw so many positive remarks. First, let me say that their professional kennel is quite impressive. The whole family seems to pitch in. (Although mom is the professional Breeder) the facility was immaculate on a huge "doggy farm". You know, like the one you always heard about as a kid, upstate where your beloved pet went to go frolic with other dogs in a wide open doggy paradise....haha. But this one is actually real. They have all their Dams onsite and some if not all the Sires. It's anything but a puppy mill. This is a pro Breeder who is selective in who she sells to. You have to sign a contract, and in that contract you have to promise to never give your dog to a shelter for any reason, but to take them back to GU to be "rehomed". These dogs are the top of the top as far as health, intelligence, physicality and of course care. They see the vet more times before you take them home than most humans see the doctor in 10 years. They get shots, exams, dew claw removal hip assessment, you name it. This dedication to excellence has made her lines absolutely phenomenal. My puppy is incredibly smart. And of course gorgeous! They have you leave them something you have worn with your scent on it at selection day 2 weeks before you pick them up. So they are familiar with you before you get them. The Breeder who has interviewed you to find out what type of dog you are looking for as well as what your lifestyle is, introduces you to pups she thinks would be a great match. She knows their personalities as she socializes them closely before you get there. That requires her to know her pups. Of course you can choose whatever available pup you want to, but the Breeder gives a great recommendation. For us, it was perfection! That is why I am writing this review. I couldn't be more grateful. From the beginning of the process until you are driving home with your new family member, the process at Goldendoodles Utah is about the best one you could hope for. They even send you home with a blanket that mom and sibs slept on so they feel comfortable for the first few nights. It makes a difference. A big one. If you are looking for the best Goldendoodles in Salt Lake City, or even if you are out of state, I couldn't say enough good things about this Goldendoodle family. As you can tell, I tried! Haha

Even if it's a little drive for me. The lady who answered the phone was so nice and gave me the options for lessons so I figured I'd go check it out when I wasn't super busy - I was excited. I wanted to take a look so I drove by - the property isn't gated or fenced so easy to go right in. There were lots of horses tied up at a barn and kids brushing them out. So cute to see!!! I parked and figured I'd wander around a few minutes before the lessons started. It's really cool that they had 2 arenas and a barn. There were lots of pens containing horses that are big by barn standards. That's where the good experience ended. I saw so many dirty pens, really skinny horses with hips and ribs poking out, near empty water troughs and one horse looked like it had abscesses or something with puss coming out of it's face. Oh my heck! My heart just broke. Some of the horses the kids were taking care of looked happy, but some were just so sad and skinny I can't imagine them not hurting when they had all that weight on them. When I was looking at options for riding lessons for my daughter I was so excited to find this one, but when I got to the property and looked at their horses I was so upset I just left. It's been so heavy on my heart if I should post a review or not, but I just can't get those horses looking skinny and so sick with hardly any water out of my head.
