I want to be very clear up front: I can't speak to their chiropractic care at all. I only went to Voitenko Wellness once, years ago, and didn't really have a need to go back because I already have a chiropractor I trust. My 1-star review is only about their marketing and how they handle (or don't handle) requests to be taken off their list. Because I used them that one time, I ended up on their marketing list. For a long time it wasn't a big deal. But about 6 months ago things suddenly ramped up. Since then, I've been getting constant outreach: about once a week I get a phone call, a long voicemail, text messages, and flyers in the mail. I've called them several times asking to be removed from all future communications: * First call (about 3 months ago): I was very polite, asked to be taken off their list, and was told it would be done. It wasn't. * Second call (about 2 months ago): I asked again, was told again that I'd be removed. The calls, texts, and mailers still kept coming. * Third call (about 2 weeks ago): I was more firm this time and reminded them I had already asked nicely more than once. I also mentioned I'd leave reviews if it continued. And still... nothing has changed. At this point, it feels like once they have your name, phone number, and address, you're stuck in their system whether you want it or not. So again, I'm not saying anything about Dr. Amber's skills as a chiropractor, because I honestly don't know. What I do know is that their marketing has become very aggressive, and they have not respected repeated, reasonable requests to stop contacting me. If you're considering using this office, just be aware that you may be bombarded with calls, voicemails, texts, and mailers once they get your information - and in my experience, getting off their list is much harder than it should be. read more

They honored my proce for that visit. Which I appreciated. They said to stay that that price I had to pay $1000's upfront. I go once or twice a yeat. Warning. I tend to write my life story when it comes to non food related reviews. Do you remember those good old days when you feel some pain and it just goes away the next morning? Well if you are looking for a chiropractor, then those days are probably long gone and you are wondering how human evolution has failed thus far. My wife has been going to Dr. Voitenko for two or so years and would often come home saying how much better she felt after being adjusted. I would NOT say that I'm a non-believer of chiropractic adjustments, but the whole being touched, massaged and cracking/popping bone is just not my cup of tea unless it was ABSOLUTELY necessary. This kind of thinking is from 38 years of growing up and never needing professional help healing from all kind of activities and falls I've taken. I guess 38 was the last year of abuse my body was able to take because 39 was when I woke up with a numbing feeling from the left side of my neck to my elbow. I stretched and stretched, twisted and turned, used Tylenol and Salonpas patches, ice and heat pads thinking it would go away. I knew it wasn't a potential heart attack since the numbing ended at the elbow. Four weeks was how long it took before my wife had enough of my bit¢hing and moaning and made an appointment for me to see Dr. Amber. During the first two initial visits, I was looked over and speculations were made on my cervical vertebrae being misaligned which is causing the "pinched nerve". I was told to get an x-ray done at an imaging center (discounted rate of $80 as of mid 2019) before the first actual treatment which is understandable since everything is a guess until they can see my bones. The next morning, I went back to Dr. Amber's office and Kirsten (the Patient Educator) briefly went over the results of my x-ray and showed me where the problem was, it was confirmed that I had what's called bone spurs, aka cervical osteophytes. Cause of this was age, or the three car accident (as in 3 cars) I was in where I was the middle car that got squished...and probably more likely, my posture sitting in front of monitors all day since I was 14! I started with two visits per week for a few weeks, then once per week for another few weeks and I'm now down to once every other week. After about three adjustments, the annoying numbing pain was not as apparent and a few more visits later, it was totally gone. The staff members at the office is always helpful and approachable. Dr. Amber is a pleasure to be around and has the goal of making her patients naturally healthy. I know some of you reading this wonders why so many visits were needed and why I'll still going. One of the things you need to understand is that this business is called Voitenko Wellness, and wellness is more of a way of life, it's a practice and an ongoing way of maintaining or improving our mind and body, so all these subsequent visits and adjustments are more preventative measures as the bone spurs still exists. Professionally, I changed to an adjustable standing desk at work so I don't slouch as often and I think that has helped with keeping that pinched nerve away. read more

I can't account for their services, but what I can account for is their level of harassment I've dealt with since going in for a consult probably 4 or 5 years ago. I've repeatedly, REPEATEDLY asked to to be taken off of their contact list. Instead, they started calling me from a blocked number, again and again through the years. Please remove me from your system as I have requested over and over and over and over and over again. So, unless you're ready to commit to this business for life, I suggest you go elsewhere. read more

Scam. That is an accurate summary of my experience, verified from other patient's reviews. They offered the $20 entry level consult and adjustment. I knew they would try to sell me their services, but I was hoping to take advantage of the deal. I get for them, it's not worth it if I only get the adjustment. But, if you are going to offer the deal, you have to be willing to have clients take advantage of the deal. Nevertheless, my first appointment took 2 hours, for them to have two different people perform a consultation. In which they tried an insulting sales technique, whereby they asked me questions like, "Would you agree it would be nice to be pain free?" "Would you pay for a service if you could be pain free?" "Would you agree it would be better for you to get this taken care of?" All of this was a waste of time, insulting, lacking integrity and dishonest. I strongly recommend going to an honest and trustworthy chiropractor, NOT this place. Please don't encourage places like this to continue to practice in such a dishonorable fashion. read more

I've been going to Dr. Amber now for almost a year and she and Dr. Kody have done a fantastic job with helping me relieve some issues I've been having. Always professional, organized, and engaging. I purchased a package deal from my work for charity from this office that included a free consultation, nutrition advise, foot bath and saliva test for chemicals. I met with the the Dr.Amber and all we talked about was areas on my body I needed care. No adjustments were made, she offered $200 X-Ray with $45 or $75 fee everytime we meet . This costs was my first issue. Not affordable for me . Next meet we went over nutrition options from stuff that she had. I did a foot bath that day also... Then I never heard from anyone . I didn't get my full service that I paid for, didn't get the metals test done or saliva test , no one called, I even left a message for Them to make an appointment and they claimed they never got it. I got a deal for an adjustment that I never had as they made go to their office 2 times.The first time they spent about an hour asking me questions about my health and life stile (which I really appreciate) but in the second appointment they lost that record and went through a bunch of questions again.. then after they saw my x rays I was diagnosedd with osteoarthritis pretty much in my whole body I was terrified, and they offered me a very expensive treatment, thank God I wasn't approved for financing this. Which made me try to find a second opinion. I have been going to Dr. Amber for probably almost 10 years now. I initially went because I injured my back but also had chronic migraines. Dr. Amber was able to help with everything, I went from having chronic migraines about 2-5 times a week to now maybe having them 1-2 times a month. Dr. Amber has also helped with other diagnoses in terms of nutrition, and has honestly been more helpful than some of my doctors and specialists in that area.
