My neck feels kind of ruined by them. They're too aggressive with their twisting and turning and my neck flairs up more and more each time. They also never improved my wife's back when it used to get better at a different chiro before that doctor moved out of state. That doctor was more gentle with my neck too and it was perfect. The doctors and staff here are all super nice and on top of all their medical billing and appointments (though it does get very busy), and I really want to like this place, but alas I don't like their technique. But if you don't mind aggressive twisting and turning then by all means go for it. read more

Showed up at 9:15am, checked in and was greeted by the staff. After a few minutes I was asked if I knew who I spoken to which led to a series of questions and confusion. Long story short apparently my insurance doesn't covered today's visit. I was scheduled for acupuncture at 9:30am and chiropractor at 10:30am which was confirmed by the office upon check-in. After speaking with front office (Maria and another woman) the office manager (Esmeralda) came out and was very dry nonesympathetic and first asked me to sit down while they looked in to it eventhough I was standing because I was speaking with the front office personnel. Then office manager (Esmeralda) just told me that my insurance didn't covered today's visit and they could see me but would have to pay put of pocket. I explained to them how I had spoken to someone who had already verified my insurance, set my appointments for today so I didn't understand the confusion or why I would have to pay for the mistake theybhad done given I had taken the day off. Her response "well we can see you but you would have to pay out of pocket or go somewhere else where they take your insurance" I asked her, can I just talk to who ever is next After you like the doctor.. and her response was "you want to speak to the doctor so he can repeat what i just told you?". I really had to hold back to not be rude to her as I could see she did not want to do anything to fix the situation and felt very proud of her position. I get it, I'm sure they get a lot of rude customers but not once was I rude but office manager did very little to help me. Would love to get a call back from someone else besides the office manager to discuss this. I am a school administrator and took the day off and was looking for my session today and now not only did I waste a "sick" day but did not get seen. It is now 10:10am and Dr. Never came out and my concern was not addressed or followed up on after speaking with office manager at 9:50am the last time before she went in to her office and closed her door. read more

Do not come here unless you feel like killing over two hours of your time. I had an appointment at 2:45. They told me to arrive at 2:30. I did. No one acknowledged me. There was just a sign that said sign in and be seated until the receptionist called you or something like that. I did as the sign instructed and waited maybe ten minutes before someone brought me paperwork to fill out. I started overhearing the other patients complaining about how long they had been waiting. I would not have had any idea how backed up the appointments were if it weren't for the others around me. A man actually blew up and completely lost it because he had been waiting over two hours and they were about to skip over him. They called my name, but I knew he had been there first. He and one of the employees got into an argument over her having never told him he needed to fill out paperwork. It was honestly stressful watching that interaction unfold. I hate to think how he would have reacted had I gone ahead and went back when they called me. I ultimately waited over two and a half hours before being seen. No one apologized. No one explained. No one cared about anything other than gossiping. The two girls at the front desk were whispering and laughing 75% of the time. No one there wants to do anything but the bare minimum. When the man that had a fit tried to hand his chart to one of the receptionists, she said, "That's not mine." When I mentioned to the girl walking me back that it would've been nice to have been given a heads up, she cut me off and said she didn't do the scheduling. Girl, please. Did I say you did the scheduling? No. Im telling you as a courtesy, an offer to come in later or reschedule would have been great. Two and a half hours in a plain, boring waiting room was not what I had planned for the afternoon. Definitely never going back. read more

I went to see Dr. Mike Glandorf last year when I was having lower back pain of the ordinary intermittent type. He fixed me up in one visit. I couldn't believe it! Dr. Glandorf always made sure that I was relaxed to be cracked (which is actually alignment adjustment) and it releases pressure of pain without meds. Chiro also helps with stiffness. I've been doing acupuncture and cupping with Dr. Swei. Acupincture and cupping does not hurt. It relieves the tension, swelling and pain in my body. At Main Place chiropractic they offer a conservative approach to your health care needs utilizing chiropractic acupuncture physical therapy and massage. They can usually get people in for same-day appointments. Walk-ins are always welcome. They are open Monday through Friday 9-6PM except Thursdays they close at 5 PM. They care about their patients and do the best they can for them. If it wasn't for this place. I wouldn't be able to survive a week at work. I wish I had found this place before I had neck sx . I've been to many chiropractors the last 5+ years after I was in an auto accident. They've all been great. I didn't think I find anyone better than my last one when I lived in San Antonio, but that has changed. I was experiencing a lot of neck pain last weekend. I decided it was time to find a chiropractor in the neighborhood. I called a few places but they either weren't open or didn't return my calls. So I went to Main Place. My insurance doesn't cover too much, but that is not the point. My first visit was with Dr. Doering. He brought me into his office and asked me what was bothering me. We went through a brief history of my condition. He explained to me what we need to look for in the neck and everything with charts and graphs. We also did some x-rays. They have this new machine called the Pro System Adjuster or something. I won't get into that too much, but it's pretty awesome. It can reach your soft-tissue in ways the hands cannot. Pretty cool. It's one of only four practices in California to have this machine. The next day I went back to look at x-rays. Dr. Doering showed me them and explained what we were looking at and for. He showed me several examples of other patients and what may happen to the curve in my neck if it's not properly taken care of. It was so educational, it definitely took away any fear that some might have of chiropractors being "quacks", no, this was great. I've since been back once more, and I can tell that the doctors and Main Place really care for their patients and want them to understand why they feel the way they do and what they can do to help them. read more

Since day 1 when he started seeing me he made feel really comfortable and trusting that Im in good hands. My pain levels were really bad, could not sleep due pain and suffering. Since I've been seeing Dr. G I feel improved and more tolarable to the pain, has helped me recover faster. He is a great Dr. He goes above and beyond, helping me to fill out my disability paper work and making me feel at ease; his staff are great from the receptionists to Henry who is reponsible for treating you with muscle stimulants placed where you have pain, to the rollers that massage your back. There is a really good vibe here. Dr. Glandorf is very friendly and I love getting CRAAACKED and then stretching out on that roller bench they have. Always feel like I've shed a few years after my neck is loosened. The office is very flexible and will work with you to meet your needs, within reason. Her treatment has healed a severe shoulder injury that I had been struggling with for 10 years. Now I am completely pain free and have regained mobility of my arm and shoulder. I was also recently treated for a sports injury to my left knee which was diagnosed as an ACL and Meniscus tear. I was not sure if my insurance was accepted so I gave them my info and Veronica called me back within 10 minutes to tell me that they did accept my insurance.
