Amberstone was able to give me the best deal out of all hardscaping companies I got bids from. They did an amazing job, sent detailed invoices and receipts and showed up when they said they would. Edward gave me some really good ideas, and helped with the design process as well as managed the work. He kept a good line of communication with me and was great to work with. His team members John and Martinez who did a majority of the work, where super nice and friendly as well. We had wanted to go with this company for our large (between 10K - 15K job) but their customer service was awful. I was promised a quote by Edward by a date, didn't get it, emailed, called, text, called again and finally when I caught Edward on the phone he apologized (by this time it was 3 days late) and said he would send it that day, didn't get it until the next day. We had questions on it, emailed them back, nothing. Followed up again, and again and still nothing. After a week of trying to follow up and still nothing I emailed that they must not want our business. Still nothing. It has been almost 2 weeks now since they sent the quote and still no follow up. AmberStone Hardscaping exceeded our expectations on the outcome of our pool project and we would strongly recommended them to any of our friends and family. After speaking with several different companies we finally chose AmberStone Hardscaping. The work began a head of the originally proposed start date and finished in less time than we expected!!! Just as a summary of our project; our original pool design was flawed. We have sun exposed pebble tec that was cracked where it rolled out of the pool and all along the water line. We had the pebble tec roll beam removed and replaced with travertine tile as well as a tilling the water line. All the damaged cracked pebble tec is now replaced with beautiful tile and the many eye sources are gone!!!! Our salesman Edward was extremely informative and educated me on several areas of concern we had before starting the project. When he came by for the original quote he took the time to explain to me exactly what they could do and provided a few different options. Edwards work crew was lead by Omar. Had Edward and his crew landscape my front yard. Simple design with removing grass and bringing in rocks and a small patch of fake grass. The fake grass looks good and the rocks are in. I gave 2 stars for the follow through service. When we first talked he mentioned bringing in a sod cutter to remove the grass. When they showed up to work he dropped off a couple of his guys and they went at the yard work shovels. When I questioned him he said it was just as quick and he was going to spray yard with a grass killer. Now that the yard is done I have several spots where grass is starting to grow. He said he was going to leave some of the commercial grass killer, but he never did. I sent him a couple messages and only once did he respond with a "I will drop it off" but I have never seen it. Make sure you get everything before final payment. I gave up on him dropping off what he promised. I would have gave him 2.5 stars but I had to round down. read more

He came right out when it we asked for a quote and was the only one that followed up with us when we had questions. And we got quotes from a lot of reputable companies and not one of them even thought to send or call with a follow up to their quote. We are thrilled with our new patio. They did a great job and even did what most companies don't do- they cleaned up after they were complete even raking the rock back in place so it looked brand new. Amberstone Hardscape came in and tore out veneer that was completed by another contractor that was put in so tight that you couldn't grout any of it and completed this project all within 3 days due to a wedding that was planned. They did a great job and more than accommodated us with our schedule. They also came back on another trip and added veneer to the front of our house that we are very happy with.
