This is yet another area where they failed me- as neither the receptionist that booked my appointment told me this, nor was I told this when I checked in for my services, nor did the woman that did my service tell me the area needs to be shaved before she worked on me. So, this is the first time I'm hearing this, despite THREE employees saying nothing of the sort. And yet, they still feel justified in not refunding me, and not extending any level of proper care or customer service to me. They are TRULY a horrible, unprofessional, low quality med spa. ** Bad experience and terrible customer service after the fact. I made an appointment for Laser Hair Removal, which I've had done on various parts of my body over the years at various med spas. I was going to be in Ventura on a week long road-trip down south, and decided to try this place for my LHR. I had a fancy gala at the end of the week for an LA event with lawyers and judges, so always some primping is done to look my best. A girl's gotta look polished for this type of shin dig... and it's pretty fun getting ready. Except when it's not, and that's what happened at this place. When I made the appt, I asked the woman on the phone about numbing cream for my face, she informed me that I wouldn't need it bc it's a fast moving wand. I had never experienced this type of machine before, but when I asked her if it was the same result where all the hair falls off or can be easily wiped off after treatment, she simply replied, "yes". This was not the case, as I learned AFTER I spent $200 and wasted my time with this place. I left still looking like Chewbacca, and I emailed the office to let them know I was not satisfied. This is when I was told that each treatment would remove about 20% of the visible hair. Had I known this when I called to get info, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED THE APPT. I absolutely would not and could not show up to this gala looking like Chewbacca. When I asked to get my money back, I was told they have a no refunds policy. I asked them if they insist on their no refunds policy despite misrepresentation and flat out lying to me about the treatment results ... and no one responded -nor have I been refunded. Churn and burn is a bad business practice! Just gross and unethical business practices all the way around- from the woman at the front desk that made my appointment, to Angela that did my treatment (by the way, in an email she said she "assured me that I had some hair loss even though there was a lot of hair left"), to Sabina that went totally quiet after I disputed their no refund policy calling out their unethical practice of misinformation and misrepresentation. Also, upon further research I notice that a handful of the reviews are from their own employees (always with the no profile pic and only one review in their profile). Absolutely do not go here, and do not trust these people.

We were both very pleased with the experience! From the beginning, the staff was professional, kind, and incredibly patient. They answered all of our questions thoroughly and made my mom feel comfortable every step of the way. The Emsella chair itself was easy and comfortable for my mom to use. She went for a full round of treatments and while it wasn't a complete cure, it made a meaningful difference. My mom noticed she wasn't needing to go as often, had better control than before, and it became an important part of the overall treatment plan that helped improve her quality of life. One of the biggest changes was at night. Before treatment, she was getting up three or four times every night to go to the bathroom. After completing the treatments, she was sleeping much better because she wasn't waking up nearly as often. If you or a loved one is dealing with incontinence, especially after feeling like you've run out of options, I would absolutely recommend looking into the Esmella treatment here. We first stopped at another STIIIZY store (Oxnard Locati), to ask about a return, and the manager there was actually willing to help because the cartridge was obviously defective. However, once they noticed it had been purchased from another location (Ventura Location), they said we would need to go back to that store to handle it. So we went to the store where it was originally purchased. The manager there, Josh, was extremely rude and refused to help at all. Despite the cartridge clearly leaking and being defective, he immediately declined the return and showed no interest in resolving the issue. At one point he even told us to go find another manager because he didn't want to deal with it. I've always liked STIIIZY products, so this review isn't about the brand itself. But the way Josh handled a simple situation involving a clearly faulty product was unprofessional and unacceptable.

I booked my appointment online and was so excited to get a massage! I want SO badly to give this place more stars, but the massage itself was mediocre. It was $175 for a 50 minute massage, plus $20, it was about $200! And it literally was $200 for someone just lathering me in CBD oil. I ASKED for medium to firm pressure and even wrote it on the paper, and it wasn't even a massage. I walked out still tense but really oily. I don't plan on coming back especially since it's so expensive for 50 minutes of just being lotioned. It would be cheaper if you bought CBD lotion or oil and lathered it on your body yourself.
