This is yet another area where they failed me- as neither the receptionist that booked my appointment told me this, nor was I told this when I checked in for my services, nor did the woman that did my service tell me the area needs to be shaved before she worked on me. So, this is the first time I'm hearing this, despite THREE employees saying nothing of the sort. And yet, they still feel justified in not refunding me, and not extending any level of proper care or customer service to me. They are TRULY a horrible, unprofessional, low quality med spa. ** Bad experience and terrible customer service after the fact. I made an appointment for Laser Hair Removal, which I've had done on various parts of my body over the years at various med spas. I was going to be in Ventura on a week long road-trip down south, and decided to try this place for my LHR. I had a fancy gala at the end of the week for an LA event with lawyers and judges, so always some primping is done to look my best. A girl's gotta look polished for this type of shin dig... and it's pretty fun getting ready. Except when it's not, and that's what happened at this place. When I made the appt, I asked the woman on the phone about numbing cream for my face, she informed me that I wouldn't need it bc it's a fast moving wand. I had never experienced this type of machine before, but when I asked her if it was the same result where all the hair falls off or can be easily wiped off after treatment, she simply replied, "yes". This was not the case, as I learned AFTER I spent $200 and wasted my time with this place. I left still looking like Chewbacca, and I emailed the office to let them know I was not satisfied. This is when I was told that each treatment would remove about 20% of the visible hair. Had I known this when I called to get info, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED THE APPT. I absolutely would not and could not show up to this gala looking like Chewbacca. When I asked to get my money back, I was told they have a no refunds policy. I asked them if they insist on their no refunds policy despite misrepresentation and flat out lying to me about the treatment results ... and no one responded -nor have I been refunded. Churn and burn is a bad business practice! Just gross and unethical business practices all the way around- from the woman at the front desk that made my appointment, to Angela that did my treatment (by the way, in an email she said she "assured me that I had some hair loss even though there was a lot of hair left"), to Sabina that went totally quiet after I disputed their no refund policy calling out their unethical practice of misinformation and misrepresentation. Also, upon further research I notice that a handful of the reviews are from their own employees (always with the no profile pic and only one review in their profile). Absolutely do not go here, and do not trust these people.

The entire staff is fantastic, friendly and patient. The nursing staff, that administer the different protocols, are amazing. EVERY one of them! I figured the front desk employee was trying to wrap things up before leaving, so I didn't think much of it. However, when I finished my appointment and walked back into the waiting room, she was still there. That made me question why I was asked to pay upfront this time when that had never happened to me before. As a returning client, this unexpected change with no explanation made me feel singled out and uncomfortable. I can't say for certain why it happened, but as a Latina woman, it left me wondering whether I was being treated differently, and that feeling was incredibly upsetting. After years of being a loyal customer, this experience completely changed my perception of the business. Because of how uncomfortable and unwelcome I felt, I will not be returning.

I did not have an appointment for the pedicure, so I completely understand having to wait for that. I am not complaining about that because that was my choice. By the time 12:00 p.m. rolled around, I no longer cared about getting a pedicure. I was perfectly fine with just having my nails done because that was the appointment I had actually scheduled, and not booking a pedicure was on me. My issue is that when my appointment time came, I was told I would still have to wait because there was another client ahead of me due to the salon being behind from taking walk ins. At that point, I had a scheduled appointment, and I should not have had to wait another hour. If appointments are consistently delayed because of walk ins, then there is really no point in making one. This is not the first time this has happened. I really do not like leaving negative reviews, but this has become a pattern, and it is very frustrating when you schedule your day around an appointment only to end up waiting well past your reserved time. Unfortunately, this was the final straw for me. I really like the quality of their work, but I am not willing to schedule an appointment only to wait an hour or more after my appointment time.

The team at The Skin Queue is absolutely amazing. I have always been apprehensive about injections and fillers. However, after turning 35 all the changes in my skin were so distressing that I had to take action. I have had several sessions here with Teresa and I am beyond ecstatic about the results I am seeing. She has been able to improve my fine lines/wrinkles while maintaining a natural appearance, using Xeomin. I also suffer from under eye bags/dark circles and always looked tired. I most recently tried the PRF treatment for this. She was so gentle and explained to procedure thoroughly to help me feel so comfortable in her chair. I cannot wait to see the final results. NEVER have I ever experienced a medical spa such as Skin Queue, ever! This medical spa is totally professional along with being friendly, extremely knowledgeable as far as the different procedures they offer and just all around 10 out of 10. Dr Chang is extremely gifted at fillers. They have done several procedures on me and I've been very impressed. I've been going to high end places in Los Angeles for years and these women are conveniently located, take same day appointments and really provide results that are competitive not just in Ventura but LA as well. They are always learning new things and staying up on the latest procedures. I appreciate their kind and accommodating approach and their cool space which is fresh and new and stylish.
