So, wanted titanium studs cause recently began wearing pierced earrings again. Went to Ambitious on the recommendation of Kings Jewelers staff (a few doors down on the main street of downtown Chula Vista). Was immediately approached by a pleasant young man who advised what I needed; found the earrings; put them in for me, and almost talked me into a tattoo (still considering it!). The most important element of any successful business is customer service, and Ambitious should be there for quite a while!! Thank you!! P.S. PRICES ARE DECEIVING!!!! I went in today to get my daughter's ears pierced. The sign read $40 for earlobes ( lobes is plural and implies more than one) after seeing that I decided to get my ears pierced as well. Piercing was great quick, clean and easy. When I went to pay the guys said $160, I said "For what????" He explained that it was a$40 per earlobe. The prices are totally deceiving. They need to fix their writing to people completely understand the price they are paying. I was a returning customer to this spot but will not ever be returning again unless they refund me and honor the price stated on their sign. read more

I'd give it a 3.5(it won't let me do half)They weren't terrible but they lowk did me dirty with my left third lobe piercing. They caught cartilage and it's higher up compared to my right ear:/ you really can't notice it too much(if you aren't paying attention) but it's just annoying for me since I know. Also one thing that kinda stood out to me was what they use to clean the piercing, bactine, which I thought usually can cause irritation. If it works for you good but I feel like for more sensitive ears it wouldn't be the best. I will say the guy I had was extremely sweet to me and very patient considering I don't do good with needles and was extremely nervous. Along with this, I probably should've said something but I hadn't noticed anything until I showed my cousin and he noticed it for me. If you do decide to go there just double check that the piercing is good before you leave, I don't think I will go back to get it redone because it's hardly noticeable but just letting other people know. read more

I do not recommend for piercing. They gave me a normal sized bar for my snake piercing on my tongue and didn't think about swelling so my tongue swelled up bad and was in pain, when I went back for it to be fixed they refused me and said they didn't have any longer bars. 2/10 read more

So I was a walk-in showed them my idea and also put a $120 deposit down for some work. I guess I spoke with the owner of the place Junior and he told me he would have a drawing for me in about a week. I never heard back from him I stopped by the shop they said he was out of town and that was about it. They do not refund deposits so I lost out on $120 bucks plus I never got my tattoo or even shown a drawing of what I wanted. Crazy how quickly they are to take my money but slow to get back to me showing what I'm paying for. I'll never walk through those doors again read more

Worst customer service ever ! Showed up exactly @12pm for friday the 13th special when they are said to be open and I am still waiting currently at 6pm with still a 45 min wait . Worst customer service because when asked how long the wait was for my spot they kept telling me the same response which was 45 mins and I was told this 4 times . Honestly if I could give this place zero stars I would I came into this tattoo shop after calling and asking how much it would be for a nipple piercing two nipple piercings but when I got to the tattoo shop they gave me a totally different price OK no problem ...When I went and I told him I needed my nipples pierced he agreed to do it he said that he is the owner of the shop his name is ANGEL MARTINEZ he assured me that He did piercings as well as tattoos He asked me to takeoff my shirt so that he could see what he was going to be doing he immediately got extremely nervous and requested that my friend leave because he needed to "" concentrate " he was extremely awkward and made me a little bit uncomfortable he started off by piercing the first nipple which appeared to be fine then he proceeded to go onto the next nipple and immediately after the piercing was done I knew something was wrong and I could tell by the look on his face that he knew something was wrong to but didn't say anything the piercing was literally coming out of the center of my nipple and was extremely slanted and crooked I didn't say anything at the time but I did go back the next day to let him know what had happened he tried to blame me for the reason why my piercing looked that way saying it was because I had a breast augmentation done which has nothing to do with why my nipple piercings were done incorrectly he had an attitude but he returned me my money I strongly suggest you never get anything done there they will screw up your piercing !!! read more

On Friday the 13th my boyfriend and I went in to get a tattoo each and we noticed around 12-1 am, almost every tattoo artist there had left except one (the owner ) . We waited until 5am for the owner to finish everyone else's tattoo .Although it was very late/early the owner, (Angel) still managed to be very considerate and gave us very good customer service ,. He was very committed to finishing everyone's tattoos despite the time . He was able to do my boyfriends tattoo which was a year tattoo that came out just as my boyfriend wanted it. Because of the time, we were all very exhausted, and Angel wasn't able to do my tattoo, so we rescheduled for another day. On March 15th I went in to get my "Loyalty " tattoo and Angel came up with a really good tattoo that he drew himself . It came out exactly how I wanted it . He even worked out a deal for me since I wasn't able to get my tattoo on Friday the 13th . He was a man of his word and he does very amazing work ! He was very pleasant, and even offered to come in early to allow me the comforts of not being surrounded by so many people. I got something small ( jasmine flower w/ color)and my spouse got something similar to a sleeve done. Added to what he already had. We both liked our tattoos and highly recommend him as tattoo artist. The price was reasonable for what we got and we'll definitely come back and have other work done. Parking per area was tough.
