They're garbage! They screwed me and they will screw you too! Played the hell outta me when I purchased a hayabusa from them. Told me in order for them to repair my bike, they would need the waiver I signed. He pulled one over on me because I was desperate to get the bike fixed and it was my only means of transportation at the time. He put his mechanic on the phone with me to try and convince me to send him the my signature and I stupidly sent it and once they got what they wanted outta me, they stopped pretending to want to help me with the issues with the bike. Their warranty is SHIT!! They wouldn't help me either. Don't Buy from them!! I wasn't the only one they screwed over. They've done this to many people! Don't trust them!! Mike responded to me on yelp claiming that I never purchased from them and that my claims are fake and false yet I have the paperwork right here! I had that bike for only a month before it broke down. I took it to power sports east service center in bear Delaware and they told me that the bike had so many issues that they refuse to work on it and to get rid of it. I explained to power sports in bear what mike sold me and what they did to me and even they said they screwed me. Specially when ambler put their mechanic on the phone with me to convince me to give them the paper I signed "sold as is". I was the ONLY one with the copy of that paper at the time and mike didn't have the copy. So he got his mechanic to convince me to give them my copy and after I stupidly sent it to them, they wanted NOTHING to do with me afterward!! Was recommended this motorcycle service shop from the Revzilla store in Philly. Googled some reviews and the place seems legit. Called and inquired about getting a quote on labor charges for swapping OEM tires back on my '15 Yamaha FZ-07. Talked to MIKE on the phone who offered a very reasonable price for labor charges for the tire change. Made a tentative appointment and on the following weekend, called on a Friday to see if I could drive down and have the tires mounted. The job was completed in ~an hour and I am very satisfied with the service provided. I'm glad Mike was accommodating in seeing us and finishing the job that day. Default tire pressures seem to be 36 psi but if you have a preference their mechanic is willing to change it to your specific psi. They take credit card for payment and can text you the receipt which was convenient & practical. $40 bucks a tire (if tire on the bike) OR $20 bucks a tire (if tire already removed from the bike). Center City Scooter Goes to Ambler! " Leave the campsite better than you found it" ? "Drop off a neglected scooter and have it come back much better than you left it? " Ambler Power Sports did just that. I dropped off a Honda Elite 80, needing 2 new tires, tune-up and oil change. They had it finished in a day. No problem if I need to store it for a while, unlike some Port Richmond places, Ahem, that charge by the day. And, and, it was waxed and polished like a new bike. Runs like a charm. Bob, the manager, ordered the tires without taking a card and I had never done business there before. That's a first! Called me promptly when the tires arrived. Called again when all finished. Invoices were texted. Boom, boom, boom. The way a business should be run but often bike stops are not. So why did I haul my scooter out 17 miles to Ambler when I live in Center City? Because there is not a single responsive, reliable, efficient, reasonably-priced scooter/motorcycle repair shop within 17 miles of center city Philly! Many never call back. Some are arrogant. Some don't know what a Suzuki Burgman is. Lucky to have found Ambler. Have a friend's Yamaha to go next, then my other big Suzuki scooter for oil, inspection and maintenance. These guys are straight up guys and get to the point and I liked that..they switched my Harley back from suicide shift back to all stock,.helped me find great stuff for my bike and they weren't about just buying expensive shit to waist money..he spent time to find the right stuff that I like for my bike and in my price range..they also have tons of nice bikes to look at!! read more

Mike and his crew are great! Not only are they supremely knowledagble when it comes to bikes, they are from the top down focused on making sure the customer is satisfied. I brought my '04 Thruxton to their shop after finding them as a closer alternative to taking my bike down to the Triumph dealer in Manayunk. Ambler Power Sports tuned my carb, replaced the brakes, inspected the bike and fixed a couple other minor things...was back on my bike the next day! Not only are they meticulous, they took the time to educate me on some things about my bike since I am a weekend biker. To add to this and drive the point home about these guys, my bike "stalled" out on me on the way to they gym one night. I called Mike up the next day to explain the situation and he arranged to have my bike towed back to his place and looked at....turns out I ran out of gas. Besides the fact that I a can be an idiot, I am telling you this because Mike and his guys are focused on customer satisfaction at reasonable prices. I had a 1974 Honda that I was looking to have repaired in the Ambler area and after checking some local shops, I found Ambler Powersports. I checked the shop's rating on Yelp and found that it was 5 stars and that the customer feedback was always positive. As a result of these reviews, I gave Ambler Powersports a call and spoke to Mike Bevilacqua about having the bike evaluated at his shop. Although the bike was a true 'survivor' with less than 500 original miles, Mike indicated that there may be significant repairs since the bike hadn't run in over 40 years and offered to take a look at it. I brought the bike to his shop in Ambler and after a quick review of the bike; Mike offered to repair the bike and stated a maximum amount he would charge. He further indicated that he would do his best to keep repair cost to a minimum and maintain the originality of the bike wherever possible. Mike contacted me with periodic updates on the repairs and after 2 weeks called to indicate that the bike was running and available for pickup. In addition to performing only the necessary repairs and making it run like a brand new bike, Mike charged 2/3 of the previously agreed upon cost to repair resulting in a significant savings. I decided to consign the bike to Ambler Powersports due to the shops integrity and work ethic. After less than 1 week, the bike sold for far more than I initially estimated the bike to be worth primarily due to Mike's salesmanship and customer service skills. In this day and age it's highly unusual to find a business that delivers on what they promise but when it came to my experience with Ambler Powersports, they exceeded my expectations. i called all these different places because i just needed my front tire changed. it seemed that it was too big of a job and no one could fit me in for a week which was very sad. These guys got me in right away which was awesome. just by talking to the owner you could tell hes not just trying to take your money. he's actually very nice and wants you to have a good experience. he cut me a break on the labor charge for the front brakes since i was getting my tires changed which was great. also gave me good advice for riding with new tires. had a great experience, will definitely go there again. read more
