I decided to give this place a try after seeing a TikToker's review. When we got there, my husband…read morementioned that the food didn't quite look the same as what was shown in the videos, and I have to agree. However, the flavors were definitely there, which is what matters most. I tried the alcapurria, and while it was decent, I've had better. The chicken inside was a little dry and could have used more seasoning and flavor. On the other hand, the chicken empanada was really good. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and had a nice seasoned taste that stood out. That's definitely something I would order again. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of my lunch, but I also ordered pernil with rice and gandules, as well as baked chicken with rice and gandules. As someone who loves pernil, I have to say that Puerto Ricans make some of the best pernil. It's always well-seasoned, flavorful, and tastes clean rather than overly greasy. The pernil here did not disappoint. The rice and gandules were also very good. While it doesn't quite compare to my husband's aunt's homemade version, it was still packed with flavor and complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would come back to try more items from the menu. If you're in the area and craving Puerto Rican food, I think it's worth giving this place a try.

Love this place!! Great service! Amazing delicious home made food!…read more I read about this on IG. I decided I must go that same day. Easy to find and not far from my house. The first time I ate there. It felt as I walked in to a relatives house. The ladies behind the counter were eager to take my order. I got Yellow rice, pernil, yuca, stewed chicken, pastels de plantano, beef empanada and a coco loco. I was in my glory. As much as I tried I couldn't finish it all. I took the leftovers home. I returned the next day after for more. 2 days later I returned again. Week later I returned again. The menu changes I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything . The finest Home cooked meal I ever had in a long time. Definitely recommend it!!

Service could be slightly better, I wasn't a fan of them not understanding my dry January telling me this wasn't a juice bar. This year, pretty empty, which was disappointing as I came specifically for the atmosphere and vibes. For a group of 4, I made a reservation with a required $50 deposit. The deposit was not reflected on my bill so im assuming it will be returned to my card. Our total bill for food and drinks was almost 400. 2 drinks each, gratuity was included in the bill. Anywhoo.... we were seated upon arrival. There's some parking in the front, which is always good. We used the qr scan to review the menu for our food and drinks. There is football specials, but you will need to scroll. We ordered salmon sliders, jerk chicken plantains sandwich, cheesecake sliders, jerk chicken sliders and various drinks. Things to note: I had to request jerk sauce for the jerk chicken plantain sandwich as it needed it. The salmon sliders also needed the sauce. The jerk chicken pizza was good. It's additional $2 for flavored margarita. The fries with the plantain sandwich were really good but a tad bit salty. Lemon pepper and Appleton rum honey wings were absolutely delicious For a place with not too many people, the food came out very slowly. TV and surround sound system was on point
