I'm glad I got tickets online ahead of time, but they were still selling tickets at the door when we arrived about 20 minutes before the show. Memberships are only $15 and are good for the year. Membership gives you voting privileges for board seats as well as access to the bar at events. They sell some cocktails, beer, canned seltzers, and snacks. The theatre is historic and beautiful, and the seats were pretty comfortable. I will say it was a hot day and it got a tiny bit stuffy, but wasn't too bad. They show older movies and also have live music performances. I can't wait to come back to see more movies!

It ran a bit long, 3 hours with a 15 minute intermission. The theatre itself feels hipster. Slightly old but revitalized with the creative shows. You have to be a member to enjoy alcohol at the events. Join for $15 and you can drink for a year. Overall a nice place with some free parking in the back. He called me once he was there and confirmed they could accommodate us - score! Once there we were give three lanes downstairs and Tyler and another employee helped us move tables to accommodate our group and get us rolling. Shoes and beer were quickly and efficiently and it was just the two of them! While we were there they guys were on top of any lane issues we had - much more efficient and quick to respond than a typical HUGE bowling alley. Never waited more than a hot second for a beer, either! Tyler and his employee were super helpful, friendly, and accommodating all evening. Wengers is a smaller bowling alley with only 8 lanes downstairs and 8 lanes upstairs, however, I personally like the smaller venue and vibes. Juke box, vending machines, good beer selection, and they do offer some limited food options. The alley is older but clean and well kept. The screens are no frills and easy to use and navigate. The bathrooms are only one stall and small (and right near some tables... like RIGHT next to them lol) but they are very clean. They do offer rentals for a whole floor for parties or events - that's is pretty cool! They have catering options available, as well. All in all a great experience and I will be keeping them in mind for future nights out, events, and get togethers!

Although a bit in the "ghetto" (if you will) this place is a hidden gem! It's totally vintage chic- with two stories and bars on each floor! I love the retro feel and the fun vibes. My friend, Curtis, and I enjoyed a fun night of bowling upstairs. When we arrived, there was a league of sorts taking place downstairs, but upstairs only had two lanes in use. We loved the retro style ball pulleys, and the lanes were in good shape! I had to search for a second "11 lb" upstairs, but that wasn't a big deal. Our bartender, Nick, was patient with us and our song choice (which pertained mostly of Celine Dion) and gave us great drinks. I wish they had a more diverse liquor selection, but I made do. I was thrilled with the quality and volume of their touch tunes machine! Our bar service was on point and I had a lot of fun bowling at Wengers. Reasonably priced in comparison to other bowling alleys around, which is a total bonus!

Moreover, they have a gift shop that has prints, notecards, etc. of the art on display. I love being able to afford a bit of artprize! The Women's Club also served lunch for starving Artprize goers. While the menu was limited, it was homemade and tasty. Hubby and I had pulled pork sandwiches, homemade potato salad (or coleslaw or chips) and a can of soda for a glorious $7 each. The potato salad was so good, in fact, that I plunked down a whole whopping dollar for another serving. Hubby opted for cookies, which were delicious. We will certainly be checking out this place next year!

There are no bad seats as it's in the round, and when I ordered my tickets online there was plenty of availability. When we arrived, we were greeted at a podium and just had to give my name. We got a cute brochure with our seat numbers written on it and then got in line for concessions. They serve alcohol at select performances, and ours was one of them, so we got a couple drinks and some snacks. I was hoping for popcorn, but they didn't have any so we got Cheez its and some candy. All the employees we encountered (I think mostly students) were very friendly and polite. Once the doors opened, friendly ushers helped us find our seats. The theatre was comfortable and the rows were short, which is nice so you don't have to climb over too many people to get to your spot. The play itself was hilarious and so much fun. I'm looking forward to seeing more shows at Circle Theatre in the future.

I received an email from Railside Golf Club for a "Burger Wednesday" special. We figured, "why not" and drove across town to try a new restaurant for us. We were quickly seated at a table with a nice view of the golf course. Our drink orders were quickly taken and we ordered our burgers-medium rare as always. Our lunches arrived a few minutes later and well done would have been an under characterization of how much these burgers were cooked. They certainly didn't taste any better. My "plain" burger was loaded with onions and lettuce that I had to pick off. No attention to detail. Also To be fair, if I was at a friends BBQ and was served a burger of this calibre, I would say nothing and simply enjoy the time with friends. At a restaurant however, this is unacceptable. Halfway through our lunch, our server asked how everything was and offered to remake everything. We declined just wanting to finish and leave. Two positives, our drinks were quickly refilled and the view was nice. I think I learned something here-don't chase deals. I would have gladly paid much more for a perfectly cooked burger.

Which makes me question... is this only for kids now?? I think it's not fair for the adults who want to come to the pool and float around in the deep end (which kids don't typically swim in anyways!). Outrages honestly, especially since employees are telling people different things. Everyone needs to get on the same page, and I know I'm not the only one upset at no floating devices for adults.
