I would not recommend this experience. Even with help and full explanations of some of the clues, I still didn't understand. It was very frustrating and not intuitive.

This was one element that was done better here than the other room I've done elsewhere. The room was $25 per person, which I prefer to having a flat fee for the entire room, and you are always in a private room with just your group (whereas some places will fill the whole room with additional people). The value for the cost is well worth it, due to some elements of the room. I can't go into much more detail than that so I don't give anything away! Your guide is not in the room with you, which was also a difference from the other escape room I've done. It was fun to have the clues on the screen. You get unlimited clues, and all were very helpful. We had a group of six people and we were just getting the door open as time ran out. It was exhilarating, challenging but not frustratingly so, and really well done. I will definitely go back to do the other room and they were working on a third room as well.

We had 4 doctors, a nurse and a teacher in our group, so we thought we would surely get through with no help with that much education in one room. 6 hints later and 50 secs to spare, we made it. We laughed a ton and thought the hour went by extremely fast. Two things that are nice about this place are that you don't share the room with other parties and the game master isn't in the room with you! Can't wait to go back and try the other room.

It's not bright lights, neon colors, or obnoxious vendors in your face. It's simple, humble, incredibly clean, and well kept especially since it's been there since the 50s. It's small enough to enjoy for a few hrs but doesn't take all day. It's definitely made more for kids 10 and under id say. My kids are 3 and 6 and loved it. They were tall enough to ride most of the rides and enjoyed the petting zoo. I felt $19 per person was a decent price and parking was just fine. The demonstrations are well attended. It got busy about 11am but it opens at 9:30 so come early if you want to experience it less busy. The workers seemed to enjoy their jobs. Again, very very clean.

We enrolled our 2 children last August. I was a little…read morenervous because they had never taken gymnastics and this place looked like a very serious gym. I was pleased to learn that not only to they welcome all levels of ability but all ages as well. My daughter loves going to her level 2 class with Miss Emma and our son is doing great in his Ninja Zone class which is teaching him all the agility moves you see on Ninja Warrior. R-Athletics has a wide array of times for classes including ones in the evening which works well for working families like ours. It is pricier than say gymnastics at the Kroc center or GR Parks and Rec but the convenience of having evening and weekend classes as well as the ability to make up missed classes compensates for it. The facility is very nice. Divided into 2 gyms with the smaller/beginner classes on one side and the more advanced gymnasts on the larger side. Having a child in a class on each side (at the same time) I like that both sides are viewable from the center waiting area which is furnished with chairs as wells as a play/coloring area for younger siblings. The instructors/staff are all terrific. Supportive and helpful they do their jobs while ensuring that our kids are having fun and staying safe. Towards the end of the 8 week session you get a written evaluation on the progress your child is making and what they need to work on to advance to the next level. Sessions are 8 weeks but you can start at any time and it will be pro-rated for you.

Their learn to ride…read moreprogram has many people obviously not learning to ride, dominating the turns in the line so kids that are there for their first or second time only get a couple of turns making the price not worth the visit. If they could have a couple cables and a separate line for the true beginners it would make the price much more worth it, and us along with others I know would be more likely to visit many more times. Only one staff member was truly teaching my children how to actually ride, the other girl there was clearly not into the job and just kind of there. The kid that was helping was very impressive and I was thankful that two hours into being there, on their 3rd try that they finally got some sort of direction for their last two tries. Almost 3 hours of being there and kids only got 4 turns, that equated to them literally falling in the water until the other staff member took over. One of the kids in our group got injured and not one staff member asked if she was ok, truly a learning experience for staff to be a little more vigilant and at least pretend to care. Other than these things my kids had a blast and it is such a bummer to know they would not get enough turns to make the hour drive to this facility worth it to come back.
