The stereo in my backup car was making some weird noises. Adam said it is pretty common in older Lexus SUVs and recommended a new head unit. I made an appointment and brought it back for them to install it with new faceplate. Mark did the installation and found that my speakers were all pretty much destroyed. He installed a component system in the front and made accommodations for me to replace the rears at a later date. The unit I got far exceeded my expectations and I must say service at Car Stereo Specialists was exceptional. The guys really explained everything and Mark spent extra time to explain the features after the install. Mahalo to Adam & Mark, hope to meet their other partner Kevin the next time when I bring in my other cars...

Awesome staff and awesome work. Highly recomended

Went in to replace my factory touchscreen head unit after it blacked out. Just told Kevin what I was looking to do and he recommended and ordered all the stuff that was needed. Minor issue with the shipping of one of the kits, but they were able to reschedule and get it within a week. Even provided a discount for the minor inconvenience, which most places probably wouldn't have done. Overall, the end product looked great and the customer service was exceptional. read more

My little Chrysler Crossfire needed some TLC and that's exactly what she got. Speakers were rattling and making everything but great music. Car Stereo Specialists found the problems, installed new speakers and now she bumps like she used to again. When I discovered my inside left car door handle wasn't working correctly I took it back and they resolved the issue, no problem. Some auto specialists would try to blame it on something else. Not these guys. They are professional and take pride in their work. I'm a fan! read more

If you need any type of car stereo work or tracking devices installed on your car Car Stereo Specialists are AMAZING !! Mark really cares about his work and will trouble shoot to find a solution to get the work done . It is hard to find a business that charges a fair price and cares about the people they work for. Mark went way out of his way to get my tracking device working in my van, and I can't thank him enough !! read more

If you're looking for a quality car audio installation, look no further! Car stereo specialists is the one stop shop! They offer equipment for the beginner all the way to the audio fanatic as myself. I've had numerous encounters over the years and the guys at CSS are on a level no other shop can come close! They have built me numerous sub boxes and recently my prized possession a 2015 tundra with a full custom sound quality system with all the bellz and whistles. The install is incredible! They do really good work. They installed my audio system in an mr2 and my chevy. The quality is great. I will be having them do my Asian system as well. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They try to fit you with stuff that best guys what you are looking for, and not up sale everything. I highly recommend them. read more

My truck radio stopped working. I was about to replace it with a new one when Mark said he could trouble shoot first. After more than an hour, he found a bad relay. I purchased a new relay which Adam installed...the radio now works fine. They only charged me for one hour labor. This shows not only how reasonable their charge was, but how honest they were about the diagnosis (they could have still recommended a new radio, but didn't). Integrity, service and knowledge are trade marks here...wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

He looked at my console and spent quite a bit of time on it, without charging me anything. He recommended Advanced Car Audio for this issue, since it was going to be very time consuming. Price went up to $2500 Then they found other parts that needed replacement. Ok, we're just below 3,000 Suddenly the bill is over $4900 when we go to pick the car up. Jeremy claims there was additional things they found wrong and that he notified us. (he didn't and these new charges were a surprise) As we start going through the bill, we notice we're being charged for labor and parts that should have been included in the original price for the head gasket. Then, the additional parts are priced at 2-3x what they should be with outrageous labor charges. ($200 in labor to replace a thermostat which takes 10 minutes to remove 2 bolts.) Owner refuses to release the vehicle unless we pay and we have a bunch of back and forth where he starts dropping the price but still wants to charge stupid labor charges and more. Then he pulls up high prices on the computer to justify his high costs. Same parts I found for 1/2 to 1/3 the price. Now we also discover they didn't put certain parts back on the vehicle when they finished and there is a missing exhaust cover. So not only do they overcharge the work is sloppy. I cannot recommend this shop at all. They don't honor their quotes, jack up the price of parts then refuse to release your vehicle until you pay. 0 stars if I could.
