Check movie listing and see that the movie that my kids are wanting to see has a 2:45 start time. We grab lunch at a restaurant right beside the theater. We verify start time still shows 2:45. We get to theater at 2:30. We go to buy tickets and the lady goes the movie has already started, is that okay? I explained on line it shows start time as 2:45 to which she said they made adjustments this morning and changed the start time to 2:05. I asked if if was the trailer s of the movie that was showing, she stated it was the movie. We pull up the website again to check a nearby theater and it still says at the location we are start time is 2:45. We leave a go to The other theater. I took my daughters to see Moana 2 and it smelled really bad in theater 7 I stomached it so my girls could see the movie but I was highly dissatisfied and won't go back to this location I will go to Chattanooga. The seats were also dirty covered in dog hairs. read more

I come occasionally because it's close to home. The theatre is old and hasn't been upgraded like others have. It has a musty smell. The seats are uncomfortable. I prefer to go to AMC South Terrace or the Aquarium IMAX for big shows. This theatre is a last resort. read more

I hate having to wait through the concession line to buy a ticket. They even make you wait through the concession line if you already bought an online ticket. I went to see Wicked recently, waited through the long line of people buying popcorn and drinks, just to be told that the projector was messed up and they weren't showing Wicked. We were there on a Tuesday, which is discount matinee day, so I asked if they would honor the discounted price if I came back to see the movie later. They said no. They offered to let me buy tickets for Moana 2 instead, so we did that, but they didn't tell us it was a 3D movie until after we checked out. I wouldn't have bought the tickets if I had known since the 3D makes me motion sick. Plus the 3D movies were regular price. If I hadn't had my excited kids with me, I would've just left. read more

(Update her name is Carmen) Ironically enough, I was body shamed by the fattest worker there. But it was some pathetic attempt of humor, but nonetheless UNPROFESSIONAL. My husband and I decided to watch a movie after eating dinner. We thought this theatre would be nice granted how close it is, boy were we in for a surprise. Upon getting in, there is what I assumed to be the manager (god I hope not) waiting at the concessions counter. She asked for the movie we would be seeing and if we'd like any concessions. We politely declined but she continued to ask, I understand though that with this job comes trying to sell things but that's not the problems. After I politely declined three times she says "I know you want food, is fat girls love to eat, us fat girls need some chocolate". Maybe she chooses to look the way she does and be as fat as she is, but I am fighting several chronically illnesses right now and DO NOT choose to be this way. I am NOT a "fat girl like you" and even if I were how INCREDIBLY rude and unprofessional?? I wonder what the general manager thinks of this? Or corporate? I will NEVER go back. I like this place. Quant quiet. Not like the major theaters in Chattanooga. I'll be coming back. This may just be my new theater. Thinking about how big the other theaters are. Went to see a movie Friday night , most uncomfortable seats ever set in . Straight up, no leg room . By end of movie , back hurt and butt numb . Previews started , over head lights didn't go off , movie started , over head lights still on . Several ppl went to complain . I used my cell phone , and called Told they were new light bulbs , I said we can't watch this with this glare . Mgr went upstairs and finally cut them off !!! Theater was smelly, needs air fresher. today, me, my mom, and a family friend went to go see uncharted at this location. we got slushies and popcorn, as our friend ate the popcorn while we had slushies. after drinking the slushies, both of our heads were hurting very badly, also the slushies tasted very strange as if they had some sort of soap or cleaner in them. now after going, we're both at home with fevers, throwing up, and very bad headaches. i would give this place a 0 star if possible. read more

The seats were extremely uncomfortable. The theater looked like they just surfaced cleaned. There was dried barf in one of the rows. The seats were making popping noises as if they were going to break apart. It was impossible to find a comfortable position. The lights never went out fully and the sound was low. This theater is so friendly. The atmosphere is great and the employees are enthusiastic! The concessions tasted great and the movie was a crisp screen. This theater in my opinion is the best because of its hometown feel. Not only do you get what you pay for, the prices may be high, but it is worth it. Whenever there is a problem, a manager is willing to help. There are no problems when I go here and there never will be. This is will always be my favorite theater!!!!! I have seen this theater change over the years, right now it looks and runs better than it has in years. No its not the big fancy theaters in Chattanooga, but everything is still great. Ill never go back to this theatre.The heat was broke when i went there last night in auditorium 4,asked the manager if they could turn it up,and just responded, "its broke sir,theres nothing we can do about it." Umm,its 55 degrees in there? The movie and sound system was on point,but when you spend 12.50x2 you shouldn't have to deal with that,and a flooded bathroom.Worst theatre I've been to in the area by far.I will NOT be back! We went to see a movie here this weekend and overall it was a good experience. We got our tickets and popcorn and when we got in the theater there were no trailers or anything playing which was kinda weird since the movie started at 2:20 and it was 10 mins passed that. Around 2:40 the movie finally started and it just went right into the movie. Again, this was weird but no big deal. The picture and sound was good during the movie. My one complaint is it was pretty hot during the movie but finally started cooling down about halfway through. I would recommend this theater if you live around Ft Oglethorpe and don't want to drive to Chattanooga where there are nicer theaters. read more

last night i caught hot tub time machine 2 ( as good as a sequel can get ) at battlefield cinema. the movie started 30 minutes after it was scheduled to. they skipped the previews ( i genuinely enjoy the previews) & the film quality was absolutely horrible! it literally looked like i was watching a bootleg minus the chinese subtitles. & if that's not enough there are two walmarts at least 5 miles between each other, no need for that. never watching a movie at battlefield cinemas again. it is well worth the extra ten minute drive to carmike in chattanooga read more

This is the worst theater I've ever been to. Ive been here a few times before when it was Carmike now its AMC, i thought it was better as Carmike. Was there 2 weeks ago to see Transformers. The theater never has any of there annual buckets to purchase, NEVER. Got my tickets and food and went into the theater. There was sound but a blank screen, (we arrived 10 minutes early) the movie was supposed to start at 11:00. My husband had to go tell somebody to start the movie. When the movie started they didnt dim the lights, and it was very very hot in there. Piece of advice for this theater is to RENOVATE!!! The seats and floors are disgusting!! read more

I have been going to this theater alot in the past. But today, my daughter and I went to see Revenant and its a cold movie to watch with all the water and snow scenes. But we noticed it was freezing in the theater room. She went and complained and they turned the heat up but it was still freezing so I complained and they turned it up more. The movie was over and we had barely gotten warmed up. It really didn't get warm enough in there. It was colder in there than it was outside. Made watching that movie pretty miserable. read more
