Best movie theater awesome place nice and friendly comfortable seats and nice atmosphere would highly recomend

The best place to see a movie in Chattanooga! After the refurbishment two years ago, this theatre has added reclining lounge chairs with reserved seating, a bar, and an updated snack bar. Regal put a lot of money into new screens and a state of the art sound system. Ticket prices remain reasonable, considering $15+ prices in major metropolitan areas.

I'll gladly drive 'over the river' to come to this theatre. It's always clean, employees are friendly and with the smaller theatre sizes, not over crowded. I love the ability to purchase our tickets and pick out our seats a head of time. Don't worry about those jerks who sit right in front of you in a near empty theatre because with the reclining seats, there is plenty of room and your view is never really obscured. Picture quality is great as well. Go during a matinee to save a few bucks!

Big upgrade late last year. Gone are the low cost cheap movies and in with comfort. Electric recliner chairs, well spaced and you pick your seats at check-in. They have some large theaters here for big releases and smaller rooms for others. Any review on here before the summer of 2015 will be before the upgrade in seating so are not relevant anymore. One big addition is "Beer". You can order a beer at the bar when you come in and take to your seat. Plus they have a decent selection of beers. If you like sitting back in a recliner watching a good movie then this might be the best spot in Chattanooga now. Fully reclined you can still easily walk down the row or isle without any issue. Most are like love seats in pairs so you can raise the center divider.

I am going to start coming here more as the prices are very reasonable. Most days the tickets are about $3.75. But on Wednesdays the prices drop even lower. Movies that start early in the day are only $1. At 7pm they go up to $2. It's located near Hamilton Place mall and can be seen from the Interstate. I feel like they try to make money by selling soft drinks and pop corn. I recommend eating just before you come here to enjoy a movie at a great price.

This is the strangest theater experience I have ever had. I was in town for business and took myself to see a movie to give myself something to do. At first glance, the theater looks like a great place from the outside. Once I got into the theater of the movie I was here to see I found that all the seats were all on ground level. Which I find to be a little strange. There are no seats on risers. The seats are recliner seats but the 2 seats on each side of me are destroyed!!! And that is putting it lightly. I am a huge movie theater buff! I love experiencing movies in this atmosphere but this experience at this theater is not great and I will not return to this location!

This place smells so bad!! I went to the restroom and had to hold my breath. They obviously don't care about cleanliness. Never again.

In theatre 7 the seats are completely worn through the fabric. Very uncomfortable and unsanitary. Time to do some updating.

Out front there is a window where you would typically purchase tickets, but no one was manning the booth, so we assumed ticketing would be inside. Immediately, the smell of buttered popcorn overwhelmed me, so I went to purchase some with my group. We noticed the signs above the concession stand included the options for the various snacks, but no pricing was listed, instead it just said "ask us". When we asked generally about pricing, we were told "that's kind of a lot to go over." Well, if you had just listed them on the sign, we would not be in this predicament. Distracted by this popcorn experience, I almost forgot to buy a ticket to the movie. I asked the man serving popcorn where to purchase it, and he reluctantly said, "oh here." The staff was less than friendly, and apparently did not care whether or not you bought a ticket to the movie. As we walked down towards the individual theaters, we came across some signs that appeared to be printed from Microsoft Word that said what theater each movie was playing in. Overall, watching the movie was a good experience. The theater was small, and not exceptionally comfortable, but they played the film with no operational issues.

It's gone through some renovation with stadium seats & new audio in all theaters. The staff has been generous and helpful. They offer a "stimulus Tuesday" special on drinks, popcorn and candy that will remind of prices from 10 years ago (Tuesdays are a good time to go). The seats do NOT have moveable arms or reclining backs so for those who like to raise the armrest and snuggle w/their loved one or who might just need a little more room, this theater is more on the "one-seat-per-rear" order than newer theaters.

We take advantage of their Bargain Tuesday tickets, which are $6.00 per person all day on Tuesdays. It's a nice treat when you want to see a movie in theaters, but don't want to pay an exorbitant ticket price. The theater advertises luxury recliner seating, which is truly just recliners, and ours were unfortunately quite worn. The difficulty with just switching seats is that at the box office, you pick your seat, and it's then reserved and on your ticket. So if you get to the theater and see your seat is tore up and decide to sit in any other seat that's less tore up than "yours", you run the risk of being in someone else's seat when they arrive in the theater. This happened to us. So you either move to another, work it out with the person whose seat you're in, or go back to the box office and tell them to switch your seat. I understand the pros and cons of seat reserving for the theatre, but for the visitor, if you don't know what the state of the seat your picking is in when you're purchasing your ticket, it creates unnecessary hiccups. What we saw was the seats with the best vantage point were the ones tore up the most (AKA, the ones picked all the time to sit in). Aside from the reserved seating conundrum, the theater was good. The screen and sound quality were good, bathrooms were relatively clean, and there were just enough attendants at the concession stand. In all, spending only $6 for a ticket was justified, but spending anymore, I would have felt like I didn't get my money's worth. Not a terrible experience, but nothing extraordinary either. Would we come back for another Bargain Tuesday? Yes, we would.
