My spouse never wants to go here and this last visit proved he is right. We went to see a movie on a Monday. When we arrived there was a large group of staff at the front desk not really wanting to assist people but having what looked like a very fun conversation. When we tried to get our tickets scanned that seemed to be an inconvenience. We went to the concession stand placed our order paid and only after we paid were we informed the Icee we ordered was out of stock their soda machines did not have many flavors left on any of their options (ended up with a fruit punch). The popcorn had no butter, they ran out. The bathroom was a mess (no soap until you got down to the 5th sink) floor was sticky. This was confusing since I saw two staff members walking around the theater with cleaning carts seemed it may have been for show. It's unfortunate that the owner/manager and staff don't take pride in their work or the experience customers have. I advise you drive south for a better experience for the same price. read more

Some body needs to sell them a vacuum cleaner and a bathroom janitor. What a mess. The stairway hasn't been cleaned in a long long time. Funny smell in the building also. Lots of employees on site but no true efforts being made. The popcorn didn't taste fresh and the butter dispensers were not working so they had squeeze bottles of butter instead. The place is a dated dump with no pride by management. We will definitely go out of town in the future! read more

I have been there twice and the theater is freezing. The second time I wore a winter jacket and gloves and was still freezing. Makes it difficult to watch the movie and came out both times with a headache for the cold. read more

1 star for the convenience fee. They force assigned seating so you only get good seats if you pay early online, but charge a "convenience fee" in order to purchase online. There is only one set of restrooms and they're upstairs which is an unfortunate design but it is what it is. The truly disappointing thing is how badly they are kept for being the only set of restrooms. I always go during slow hours and everytime the floors are caked in urine, like they haven't been cleaned since opening. It's so upsetting to have to make the trip upstairs only to hear the soles of my shoes rip across the floor, tainted in that unholy concotion of male fluid. On the bright side, there is a puddle located just outside the theater that I patter my shoes in so I don't ruin my car interior. read more

This place needs an update bad. AMC should be ashamed of themselves for having their badging all over this theater. No stadium seats. The seats they got are dirty. The floor are sticky. Trash behind the seat. The seats are so close that you are guaranteed to get Covid if anyone around you has it. Restrooms are upstairs and not convenient . Only thing this theater has going for it, is the location. There is no other theater near by. The other one is located in Bellingham. If you want convenient then go here. If you want a good experience with stadium seat then go to the Bellingham theater. read more

We are premier members and this theater is the closest AMC to us. I think it must keep the Cascade Mall afloat because the mall has more empty stores than occupied stores. We usually make a point of going on off times and always purchase the tix online that way it's just a quick scan and we're in. Most of the seats are worn out and uncomfortable. No telling what those cushions have soaked up over years. The one thing that detracts from my enjoyment is the endless advertisements and upcoming movie trailers. Also the rude people with their cell phone screens on super bright. Put it away for two hours. The world won't end, trust me. read more

AMC in Burlington is great, compared to the AMC in Woodinville or Lynwood it's pretty outdated. We've loved going here growing up, but if we can we try to get to those other theaters for a better experience. read more

SERVICE and LOBBY: I visited for the first time last night, and all 3 workers were friendly (greeter, ticket agent, snack bar). I enjoyed also how well kept the lobby and restrooms were. FACILITY ACCESS: The only reason I didn't rate it 5 starts is because the restrooms are a tremendous hike from the theaters (upstairs too) and AMCs in general are structured that way. I mean, it's really, quite the hike. One risks missing 5 minutes of the movie. By contrast, at Harkin's Theaters, there are more accessible restrooms overall in their architectural plan. I will return, and am so glad the AMC in Burlington reopened as of last Thursday. read more

It turns out that you can't get into see your movie if you are a little late. I understand that some teachers lock the doors to their classroom if you are tardy, but I never expected to be punished for missing the previews before our movie. Took my two grandkids to see a movie. Theater and movie were fine, but I am still stunned over the cost of snacks. Haven't been to the movies lately, but really? A large and small popcorn, two large drinks, 37 bucks? If I wasn't with my grandsons no way I would have paid. Next time, if there ever is one, we'll sneak in our own food. Usually okay - the reserved seating feature is nice - but the seats are often broken or nearly so. And the last time I went, the bass for the soundtrack was turned up so high I had to keep my fingers in my ears the entire time and could hardly hear the dialogue over the music. read more

My boyfriend and I went to see a movie last night here and the experience was subpar to say the least. About ten minutes after the movie started the doors were still wide open and none of the lights inside the theatre were turned off or even dimmed. We were sitting in the back row and could hear everything that was going on inside the lobby, so my boyfriend had to get up and close the doors. Which was fine, but it's mainly the principle that if he hadn't gotten up to do it, no one would have closed the doors. It seems like the staff here just forgot that people were watching a movie. That seems to be the only explanation, because I've gone to hundreds of movie screenings throughout my lifetime and I've never attended a movie where the lights were kept on inside the whole time. It was significantly distracting. The seats are also insanely squeaky. If you breathe too hard, the chair will squeak. Kind of a bummer. My final complaint is that the bathrooms are upstairs! It's a whole adventure just trying to get to the bathroom, which can take up a lot of time if you're in the middle of a movie. However, despite all of that, the workers here were nice and I love the fact that AMC offers online preordering for tickets and concession snacks. The pick-up for the food/drinks was quick and efficient, and it seems like they have a great system in place. Unfortunately, I will not return to this location and I wouldn't recommend this location to other people. read more

I reluctantly became Stubs member when AMC first started it but I know how new things soon become out of style. Today when I bought my tickets with Movie Pass the cashier told me that they don't accept Stubs with Movie Pass. Movie Pass pays full movie price so I asked why the change? I've been using both since Movie Pass came about. Very nice & professional young cashier informed me that she did not know why just that her manager told her they do not allow Stubs with Movie Pass. I also used a return ticket coupon issued by AMC some time back as my wife's ticket and was informed that too was not allowed with Stubs. Guess I'll be canceling Stupid Stubs. I never really thought it a very good idea anyway. Other than that irritant, I really enjoy Lowes Cascade Theatres. The employees or staff are so professional and caring towards all customers. read more

Sitting alone in a dark theater... 10 minutes past the start time for the movie. Went out to ask someone when the movie would start. They gave me some BS about coming attractions. My 3 is because it is conveniently located in the mall & the popcorn was amazing. However, I have been to other AMC's that were great this one was different. The popcorn was AWESOME! I couldn't stop eating it. The chairs were squeaky the theatre we were in and a few others I poked my head in were SMALL! There were no stairs to go up. The back seats were walk in level. Guess maybe I wasn't use to that. The bathrooms were all upstairs. The movie we watched was wonder woman lots of action scenes, however; I felt like it wasn't loud enough. Other then that the theater was decent. A little more pricey then I expected at noon, but hey I was in town and wanted to see the movie. read more

The staff are the true stars that keep this place going. Well maintained and willing to help you out. The Coke Freestyle machines are what I enjoy using. All flavor options are there most of the time and the machines are well kept. I purchased some tickets in advance but could not catch the movie at the appropriate time. The staff were very helpful on giving me a voucher in exchange for the original ticket. read more

I really don't ever take the time to do these but I'm super unhappy. The last 3 times I have been to the movie it has been terrible. From getting sent in to the wrong theater so we saw the end of the movie, then when speaking to the girl she laughed and said that sucks for you. And then today we were going to go see the last showing. We get there a few later, to all the doors being locked. The I called to speak to the manger to be informed, that at 815 they close down, while the movie is still going they close down the registers you can't buy any drinks or food while watching your movie. And if you are late you can't go in. I think this is one of the silliest/dumbest things i have heard. So disappointed. Just wanted to watch a movie and can't cause I was 10 minutes late. I gave this theatre two solid tries before I wrote this review. Bottom line: this is by far the most trashy and inconvenient movie theatre I've ever been to. They let anyone in and are apparently okay with babies in R rated scary movies. There are bathrooms upstairs on the mezzanine so far away that you might as well just skip the movie if you need to go in the middle of the movie. The worst part of this whole theatre is the people that use it - trashy teenagers, staff with literally no authority, people who laugh and talk and drink throughout the movie ruining other people's experience. Unfortunately, it seems I'll have to give up movies at the theatre until I move somewhere with more class. read more

On the good side, this theater has lots of screens which means that your showings are usual pretty empty even when a movie has just come out. This isn't always the case though, especially if it's a kid focused movie. The theater itself is obviously pretty old though and lacks stadium seating in a lot of the screens. In addition to this the seats are pretty meh, with no fold up arm rests as far as I've seen. I don't believe they have IMAX screens either. Bottom line is it's an ok theater if you dislike having people around or are just in the area but if you can make it up to Bellingham they have a much better theater for basically the same price. read more

I've been coming to this theater since I was a kid. It used to be amazing. Now every time my husband and I go to see a movie with our children the theater is dirty, smells unpleasant, and the chairs are stiff, squeaky and hard. Overall very uncomfortable. Really wish this theater would get an update or it's going to end up like the mall. Everyone stops coming and eventually gets shut down. It wouldn't hurt to hire more friendly people too. It would be nice to see a smile on the employees faces every once in a while. Until then... we're going to check out other theaters. read more

Saw a weekday matinee here and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these theaters. All staff were friendly and helpful. The theater itself was clean and the chairs, although not new at all, were comfortable. The restrooms, which are upstairs, were sparkling clean. The concession prices are ridiculous, but that's the case anywhere. A plus for the Coke Freestyle machine. Will gladly return. read more

I love this theater because you can butter your own popcorn! Extra butter is the best.
