Lovely facility for listening to music or watching a show. The acoustics are great. We've sat near the orchestra pit and had no problem hearing the performers and their lines. Sight lines are good from the floor or the balcony. We've attended numerous events over the last ten years and enjoyed them all. The seats are not terribly cramped and quite com too. read more

Went to McIntyre with my friend and daughter. I have seen several productions as well as concerts at McIntyre but this was THE best experience I have ever had. What was it??? We saw the Spring 2019 Mamma Mia Show. It was superbly well done. The music, the actors, the stage.... everything. Mamma Mia was absolutely hysterical too. The producers did such an incredible job making everything come together in such a perfect manner. I was impressed with the talent behind each of the characters. I saw a the Skagit Valley College's drag show at McIntyre Hall some months ago, and the venue was excellent! I appreciated the nice seating and a good view. The show was quite good as well. I appreciate the pre-order drink system. You pre-ordered the drinks and they were ready for you at intermission. It was a flawless procedure. The parking is excellent as well. It is just right outside the doors, and there is lots of it. I can see this being used not only for the college's performances, but also for private events. There is quite a bit of space in the front to set up tables for an event. I highly recommend it! read more

When hosting private events, McIntyre Hall really steps up their game and provides outstanding service and staff events exceptionally well. The food quality is good, venue is clean and parking is easy. All in all a good venue to host private events in the community. read more

I was invited to see my friend's ballet performance at McIntyre Hall in Mt.Vernon. The hall was beautiful and the people who work there were very pleasant and helpful. Big kudos for the lady restroom, best i've ever been at any hall. The price for two ballet performances was very good and i got incredible seat. You could purchase drinks of many kinds before the show in the hallway. They got a huge parking lot to accommodate big crowd. It'd come back if there is any further performances in town. read more

Watched a musical here that my wife's cousin performed in and I was impressed with the venue. Its a nice facility, clean and new. One thing that stuck out to me was the seats were pretty comfortable, oh and they had a full bar, not just beer and wine.. read more

I worked in the box office at McIntyre years ago while in college. I know working there I may seem biased. Just realize I had hours of behind the scenes experience in which I could have found millions of things to hate, as most people do at their jobs, but instead I loved it. I absolutely loved working there! I still love going back for the performances. They are providing a beautiful environment to host local businesses, weddings, schools and performers. They also bring in unique performances from all over the world that introduces culture to our Skagit County! read more

Very, very disappointing, the Sound Tech's were unable to monitor the problem, but seemed emphatic and aware of the problem! Yet they continue to dissapoint.

The parking lot for pickers is just north of the address on Yelp but they had plenty of signs that made it easy to find. You have to go down a gravel road to get there so keep that in mind if you don't want your car getting dirty. They had quite a few rows of strawberries for picking, and had 4 different varieties available. We also saw some apple trees where the apples were growing for picking in the fall and some peach trees. They also have veggies to pick but we didn't walk that far back. A lot of the strawberry plants had been pretty picked over but still had plenty of fruit if you pulled up the leaves and looked. We ended up picking about 3 lbs of fruit to take home. The fields are super dusty so make sure to wear sneakers you don't care about because they will get covered in dirt. We enjoyed a relaxing time picking berries and enjoying the beautiful views. I will definitely be back with my husband and daughter to enjoy picking some more fruit.

Bailey's Farm is a dream. My mom and I spent the afternoon picking strawberries and raspberries together, surrounded by blooming fields and buzzing bees. The strawberries were bright red, perfectly ripe, and so fragrant it felt like walking through a natural perfume. That smell alone could heal your entire nervous system. The raspberries were generous and delicious too, but it was the strawberries that made time stop. We picked slowly, laughed often, and let the wind guide us from row to row. It wasn't just a farm--it was a pause button in the middle of our road trip, and a memory I'll hold close forever. The only thing that could use improvement is the parking lot. The entrance and exit are one-way, but it's not clearly marked. It's a small detail, but clearer signage would make arrival smoother. Still, nothing compares to stepping out of the car and into that scent. Bailey's Farm gives you more than berries--it gives you a reason to breathe deeper. And I already can't wait to go back.
