Saw the Wicked Movie on screen 18…read more First I don't like this buying tickets at the concessions stuff because it screws anyone who already bought tickets online and wants to buy food. Everyone has to wait in the same line to get food. You basically lose the privilege of planning ahead (and spending $2 more) because you're waiting with all the other plebeians who are buying their tickets same day. We bought online then went straight in to get our seats, but when I came back I found I had to go all the way back OUTSIDE to get in line for food. Also so screen 18 was showing a musical. There was something immediately off about the sound. You could hear it, but there were no mids and little bass. The sound system was so flat that whole 3hr picture. Watching a musical, this bugged me so much. It just wasn't as full as you'd expect a theater sound system to be. Lastly 2 boxes of candy and a regular and large popcorn were $35. Stars deducted.

The girl at the register just stares at us. So we walk over. No hi, hey, or how you doing. Literally silence. It was pretty awkward. We ordered our tickets. Then she finally speaks after we get our tickets. "Enjoy the movie." Then as we're walking away I hear her say, ""Hi, how are you tonight?" to the next people. Ok. The butter station looked messy. They have a few arcade games in the lobby but they are older games. The seats in the theater are leather and slightly recline. The arms on the chairs go up if you want more room. I don't know why but I had trouble staying comfortable during the movie. I had to keep shifting. Maybe the seats could use more cushioning or maybe my booty does. Most theaters I have been to have multiple restrooms but this place only has the two near the exit. It gets crowed after the movie. The Peoria Riverfront Museum is a really neat place that you should check out while you're in…read morePeoria. Right outside the museum, on the southside of the building is the Peoria Holocaust Memorial. This is a touching tribute from the community to those who died in the Holocaust. We lucked into going on a "community day" where there was a large festival outside celebrating Cinqo de Mayo. The advantage was that admission was free on that day. The downside was that the music from outside could be heard inside the museum. It was also very crowded with many children running around unattended. The museum featured an exhibit on American 250 curated by Ken Burns. The planetarium also has a really cool and interactive show explaining where the stars are in our solar system. The museum also features a variety of rotating exhibits. I highly recommend a visit to the Peoria Riverfront Museum.

This is totally out of the theater's control; it's just something to consider before bringing a date here. The interior of the theater smells of popcorn and candy! It's clean and the shows go on without a hitch.
