I remember when this theater first opened in the 90s as part of another chain. Flash forward to 2026. Some of the floor in the bathroom look the same from them. The bathroom was dirty on my visit. They put carpet in now and this location has a bar. The bar area is separate from the general concession area. They have coke freestyle machines. My movie was in one of the smaller theaters. It said on door, that max seating for that theater was 54. A surprise for me on recent visit is director came out after screening for a q and a. Theaters have reclining seats. Some annoying patrons. Couple next to me would not stop talking entire movie. Another lady complained to staff that someone was in her seat. I would return to this theater. read more

Hey fellow Yelpers! This was my first time going AMC theater in Crestwood, IL. T-Mobile Tuesday had a $5 movie ticket deal on the Atom app and decided to purchase a movie ticket to see Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning. The theater is a decent size, had lots of movie props to take photos with, had a bar, concessions, and even had a lot of mini claw machines. Movie Experience: The movie was showing in screen/theater 1 and it had a decent layout. The row I was in had an empty area in the middle and I wonder why it was structured that way. Definitely could've filled the middle area with more seats, but no one was next to me on the right which was great. Movies with Tom Cruise never disappoint and totally recommend watching the movie. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great experience at the AMC theater in Crestwood, IL. The staff I interacted with were friendly, the bathrooms were clean, & the theater was overall clean. Definitely need to go back soon and win me some cute plushies from their mini claw machine. Bathrooms were clean and the concession line was fast and flawless. Hot buttered popcorn, plain m&ms and a Barqs Cream Soda. Theater was clean and out of the 27 minutes of previews, there were a couple of really good ones. The movie that hubby and I saw, Den of Thieves 2 was amazing with a few twists and turns. One of my favorite movie theaters, came to see send help and I was pretty good. Always clean and every one is friendly.

Plenty of free self parking in their lot. Tickets were ordered online, and scanned at the entrance for speedy entry. Prior show was just winding up when we entered, theater wasn't cleaned yet, but as we waited an employee swept up messes left from earlier patrons. Comfy recliners, volume not overwhelming, comfortable temperature. Too many ads and previews before the feature began, but that's expected (but not appreciated). read more

I am so sick of coming to movie theaters and they are dirty!! We came in and we're about to sit and it's food and candy all in the seats! Why am I paying money to sit in filth?! Clearly these theaters are not being cleaned after every viewing as it should be. This totally ruined my experience. Was excited to see the Barbie movie but not anymore Went to talk to guest services because this is unacceptable and I see why things were as nasty as they were and nothing were taken care of. There were 20 year olds working that don't care. They claim some one will come and clean it but no one has come yet. The updated theaters are very nice but not clean. It's just one of those kinda always dirty and sticky places. I always check my seat with my phones flash light before sitting down and at my most recent visit there was a bug in one of the seat cushion crevices. My light wasn't bright enough to identify before it crawled away but it looked like a BB to me. I obviously moved and inspected/found another seat. The seats are so comfortable, you have to be careful not to get too comfortable because you might end up sleep. I ended up with a lot of small kernels in my bag of popcorn but it was soooo good. I wish they had lids for the small water cups, I spilled a lot of it on my way to my theater. Loved the sound system in the theater. read more

This is not a safe place to take your children. Yesterday I took my nephew (12) and his friend here and a man approached them and said "have you ever been kidnapped before". I waited for the creep to go into his movie then told their guest services. The manager Tiffany simply asked if I wanted a refund. I told her I wanted them to kick the guy out of the movie and call the police. She was immediately argumentative and said they couldn't kick them out if I didn't know what theatre they went into so I asked if she could look at the security footage. She then got even more aggressive and said she couldn't show me their footage to which I responded that I never asked to see it and I suggested she do her job and review it herself. 10 minutes go by and cops get there. We spend another 15 minutes talking to the cops but the cops can't do anything because she can't figure out what theatre they went into. So the cops finally leave having taken an incident report. My mom comes and gets the kids while I go back in to talk to Tiffany more. She claimed they still couldn't figure out what theatre they went into but also claimed to have confirmed the creep was no longer there. Mind you this was 2pm and the theatre was pretty dead. And we told them about the incident almost immediately. This whole thing just stunk. Idk if the manager at AMC was incompetent or had some other agenda but she needs to be fired. Cons: -The soda and butter dispensers were filthy as all hell. Napkins, spilled soda, wrappers, popcorn, spilled butter, salt all over the place. I wanted to put some butter on my popcorn and couldn't even find one dry spot on the counter to put down my soda for a second. Everything is sticky and just overall gross. Didn't use them, but the bathrooms are probably disgusting here. -In the theatre itself, there are blue run way lights that were extremely bright and distracting during the movie. I sat almost dead center and had lights on the left and right brightly shining on the peripherals of my vision the entire time. Not only generally annoying, but kills the vibe for a horror film. Pros: The screen itself was nice. Seats were alright - but the touch buttons are crappy in a dark theatre when you want to adjust. read more

This theater is wheelchair accessible only. They do not have seating in the lobby area or outside of the movie theater if you have difficulty walking or standing. There is not a chair or bench anywhere in site. read more

I've been coming to this theater since I moved to the area 10 + years ago. There is a wide variety of movie choices, the theater is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the discount Tuesday and the AMC Reward program are great. I also love that I can choose the seat I want, then buy my tickets on-line and use my phone for the ticket scan. Buying a ticket is so much easier. Parking is excellent too. I LOVE THIS THEATER and am so glad that I am only 10 minutes away!!!! read more

The AMC Crestwood Theater needs to show a lot more respect to their Deaf movie-goers! My daughter, who is profoundly deaf, and I had eagerly anticipated watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 today at the Crestwood AMC. You could imagine how disappointed we were when my daughters Captiview WAS NOT WORKING AT ALL, NO CAPTIONS WHATSOEVER. Although the manager did give us free passes and drink vouchers for next time, that's not the point - Deaf customers should be guaranteed, just like any other customer, to be able to actually sit down and watch the movie that they paid for and eagerly anticipated. All I could say is shame on you, Crestwood AMC for your lack of caring and compassion. read more

I'll never go here again. My girlfriend and I went here to try and see Jordan Peele's new movie this summer, and within the first couple of minutes the power went out. Ok, I thought. They proceeded to give us expired vouchers and denied refunds for food and beverages. A couple weeks ago we tried seeing Pray for the Devil and the same thing happened. The manager again denied us food and beverage refunds and wouldn't give us his name. Horrible customer service. Dirty. Overpriced. Go to Ridge or Markus. Horrible, I will NOT return again. Disappointed as we paid for DOLBY seats and they don't recline as much as the regular seats do. We went on Sat Afternoon and they were out of Hot Dogs, Jalapenos and so many other soda syrups. The Bathrooms smelled like Pee and had tissue all over the place. Clearly, no one was tending to them. The counter staff for food was very inpatient and offered no apology for so many food items missing or being out. I usually go to Marcus Theaters, but the movie I wanted to see wasn't showing at the time I wanted, so I choose the one that did. First of all, I won't be going back and I didn't feel it was worth my time complaining to guest services, as there were very few employees. Walked in the theater and you really don't know where to go, set-up is haphazard. An employee called us over, scanned our tickets and we're on our way. Stop at the bar to order two drinks for the movie and this is where is goes downhill fast... The bartender didn't acknowledge us, but she was busy measuring the two drinks she was making like a mad scientist. Even with all her measuring the drinks, which I noticed are $16.49 each, were only filled 1/3 of the cups. After never receiving an acknowledgement and seeing how the bartender operated, we decided to move on. We decide to order a soft drink, get in line and wait forever. The theater wasn't busy, so not sure what was going on. Anyway, get my drink and head to the theater. The theaters weren't marked, so pay attention when they tell you where to go, you'll need that info. Biggest complain of mine, I could hear the movie from the next theater! Watching a horror film and listening to Beyoncé's concert isn't a good mix. Never, ever going there again. read more

Usually a pretty good experience when watching Dolby Vision big movie premiers. But this time around we stopped in for a discounted movie Tuesday. The disappointment was the menu. They were out of nachos, Bulgarian pretzel, gourmet popcorn, chicken tenders and no hotdogs. Not that we wanted all of that but as we went down the line of what we wanted each one was unavailable. This AMC has probably seen better days, but it still is an OK place to see a movie. They upgraded a long time ago to the faux leather reclining seats and the like, but could use another tweaking to get some of the older ones replaced. They could also do with hiring a few more teenagers to keep the place cleaner, but it was passable when we visited. We like that we can order and pre-print tickets at home and pick out our seats ... a nice innovation at most theaters. Concessions were a bit slow, but all-in-all were satisfactory. There used to be entrances on both sides of the theater building, but they have closed one side so you have to drive around to get in. Loads of parking was available on the night we were there. As stated, they have seen better days, but on balance it was an OK place to take in a movie. We would return. read more

Awful, awful, AWFUL. It's a disgusting mess where you will catch some disease. I'd rather go to the bathroom in a ditch than risk my health there. Plus they are documented liars. I got into crazy conversation with one of their many lazy, indifferent staff and it was hilarious, I asked them WHY don't they ever answer their phone (since they list either NO or flat-out incorrect pricing online among other things)....he said, we always answer our phones. BEST part!: I decide to prove they outright lie about calls, so I duck out of sight from front desk as they insist they answer ALL calls, to call them. yes, as these idiots are all SITTING there, it's 5:30 pm. They let it RING & ring until of course the VM comes on saying they are servicing other customers. HUH? NO they're NOT. They turn the phones off obviously. why would they wanna work? I walk up then IN FULL VIEW now, phone in hand, to show I AM calling them in that moment. They all but laugh as their faces read--I kid not--TOO BAD, F you. Yeah, this is MY promise to your fledgling pit of a theater--which please GO OUT OF BUSINESS already--- I WILL find who manages this venue & I WILL shout their name from the rooftops. Went in there last night to enjoy a movie after my long weekend and it was mostly empty.. so out of all places a lady comes and sits right next to me with a CAT! I'm severely allergic to cats and it wasn't even hidden and they let her in. That is ridiculous especially since people have allergies. What kind of person brings there pet to a movie?? And why would they accept that?? It was a baby kitten to. Everything else was good but why a cat? Especially since the whole time is was meowing during the movie that I was trying to enjoy. Updated review because of smart employee dressed like Rey behind concessions. They remodeled the place only to make it more unorganized and a worse experience. It shows on the screen there are tickets available but it was sold out. Also separate lines for cash or debit or credit card.great job on making this place a less desirable place to go see a movie. read more

The parking is horrible at this theater on the weekends, so I always end up parking in the back, which no longer has an entrance. You have to walk around to the front in the dark which isn't very safe depending on the time. The theater was filthy and disgusting. Take a look at my pictures and see it for yourselves. I mean, food was on the floor, in the cup holders, on the seats, the seats had oil all over them. My reclining chair was broken and did not adjust! The Bathroom had not been cleaned all day. There was water, dirt, and tissue everywhere. I had the grossest experience here. read more

Pretty damn good theater. The nice recliners, the Dolby at AMC (which is better than IMAX, in my opinion). Never had any issues with the staff or screwed up food orders. This is an OK theater for viewing a movie, but nothing else. The concession stand is always out of something. I was happy to see that they had churros when I visited this theater, however, there are some inconsistencies when ordering churros between this AMC and others. For example, other AMC theaters provide whipped cream with the churros and this one provided prepackaged icing (why would I want the additional sweetness of icing with already sweet chocolate filled churros????). In addition, other AMC theaters allow you to order either 3 or 5 churros....no options at this one, you're getting 5. I just wish they were consistent with other AMC theaters...disappointing. read more

One of the smaller AMC theatres that I have been to. I think that there's only one bathroom. It's pretty easy to navigate. They have the nice soda machines with touch screens too. They have recliners in each theatre. Each recliner is paired together like love seats. It's nice for couples. Something that would make it better is for each recliner to have a small table next to it since there's already space made by making each recliner a love seat. The only con for me is that every time I have been there, the bathroom always reeks. Most of the first toilets aren't flushed. read more

Used to be a nicer theater years ago but definitely declining in quality and service. Only one person working the ticket counter, took over 20 mins just to buy tickets. The bar has never been open the last ~5 times I've been here. Bathrooms dirty and only a few sinks even had soap. People vaping in the theater. It's convenient but I think I'd rather drive out to Emagine next time instead. read more
