TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Been here 3x & it never fails the employees I've seen are just miserable. Not an ounce of happiness ever seen when I'm here. Last time I was here the gentleman @ the counter rudely tells us THIS IS WHERE YOU CHECK IN! No greeting just "give me your ticket & go" attitude. Then there was the female rep @ the concession stand, just depressing to go into details. But this morning, 1st show we decide to catch & the female rep @ the concession stand was just not happy @ all. Asked for an order & she rudely replies that it's going to take 5-10mins as if it was going to change my mind so she wouldn't have to prep it. Theater smelled, several stained seats, & the restroom was just ok..nothing horrendous as seen on previous reviews. But I guess if you're looking to have your day ruined catch a movie here, heck catch an early show since it's a bit cheaper. read more

ITCHIN AND STINKIN! This movie theater is the most disgusting and rundown theater I have ever been to. I live in the area and I usually will avoid this place like the plague but it was the only option the other day and all I have to say is it was an awful experience. First of all this movie theater is by far the most expensive in the area by about 4 dollars per ticket. Which is comical given the seats are the original seats from when this place opened. There was popcorn all over the floor and the floor stuck to your shoes when you walked. Also there were very interesting looking stains on the chairs.... And the chairs had a musty aroma. There was literally food on the walls that looked like it had been there for decades. To simply put it this place seems to never get cleaned. The next mishap are the employees who simply DO NOT do their jobs, obviously based on how nasty the place is. My boyfriend went and asked if they could turn the lights on because the movie had already started and they rolled their eyes at him and did nothing. So he turned them on himself. Then later we realized that the AC was off, so once again he went and asked and of course they showed him the same attitude. Just walked out of an early screening of "Knives Out" because of how terrible this theater is. The theater 15 screen has 2 giant scratches running top to bottom within inches of each other. The picture is washed out and dull because of the old and damaged screen. The audio was terrible and sounded as if only the front speakers in the theater worked. Also the seats are disgusting and the place stinks just as bad as it did when I worked here back in '02 during high school. When I left and asked for a refund the lady tried to claim the scratches weren't from the film because "it's all digital now". I know this. The scratches I see are on the screen itself. I know the difference between film grain and a scratched screen. The audio was damn near inaudible between the lack of what I believe is broken speakers and people talking in the theater. Too boot, there was a bumper before the start of the movie from the director, Rian Johnson, that we were to receive posters before the movie with a surprise "killer" who won a prize, yet the staff claims to know nothing of it. I haven't been here since last year when "Once Upon a Deadpool" came out back in early '18, and it smelled the same then as it does now. Was hoping they made some changes, but sadly they haven't. I didn't want to drive to the Woodlands or Willowbrook to see this early. The only change is they put new carpet on the stairs with aisle letters, that's it. read more

So first Impressions it was interesting the way they have the lines set up. You can use a kiosik that is a step away from from person working on getting someone else's tickets. So it could invade your personal bubble a little. When we went in the lady wanted to see ID to verify out tickets (clearly we were not underage by any means). But that seems odd that you would let someone purchase the ticket and afterwards verify age? We got some food and beverages which was okay the machine was out of ice but they were fixing it. We ended up taking the elevator up to the next floor since out movie was there. You have to exit the theater to get to elevator and go up so heads up. Once we got to our theater it was awful. They crammed as many seats as they could together and I had barely any room and I was still touching to person to my right (mind you I am not a big person) the seats are old, they don't recline so it's not a luxury theater in case you were wondering. theater seats suck. had to wait 15 minutes for their soda system to reboot. then had to scan a QR code (very inconvenient to do when you have food/popcorn in your hand with kids) to even pour the drink, then it was out of everything! I was struggling to get the soda thing to work while our chicken tenders were ready and the lady behind the desk was very rude that I needed to come get them now when I told her just put it on the counter. we will NOT be back. way better theaters out there. read more

This theater has 2 stories! I guess since this is my first time entering a 24-stadium-seater this large, I was impressed. Of course, prices are theater priced (overpriced) and there's a fair amount of teens (it's a mall), the area is quite clean and the staff is fairly nice. I got the #1 combo (1 large drink and popcorn -- both refillable) and my best friend and her 2 cousins shared this endless supply. I asked for a extra tray and 2 water cups, problem solved. Everyone's happy for $11-something. They seem a little short staffed on a Sunday night, but I guess the mall closes at 6pm and people have work/school the next day? Ticket prices are a bit pricey as of any AMC theater, but I think if people make use of Costco AMC tickets, they can save themselves a few bucks. In addition, Thursday night is student night ($6.50) and Tuesday night is senior night ($5). Not bad at all. I'm not exactly sure how large the biggest stadium seating screen was (we were in a small stadium seater) but I'm assuming since it's AMC it's probably pretty decent sized all over the country. Also, their seats have really high backs, and the rows are steep, which is nice because sometimes I go to theaters and even if it's stadium seating there's sometimes really TALL people who have long upper bodies and they still managed to block a part of my screen view. We moved to this area recently. We enjoy going to the movies occasionally. We went to see a classic movie there the first time, and noticed a few things: 1) The seats are filthy. 2) The screens are dirty. 3) The theatres are hot. They did not even turn down the lights on the theatre. I had to go ask someone to do it, who told me that they kept the lights on through the movie. I got his manager and they turned on the air and also turned down the lights. We have been back a few times since, we have noticed that the place is generally very dirty. Dusty, musty, nasty. But man oh man, it is packed in there. Always. So people must not care. I went there on Christmas day, and it was packed, that is for sure. But the restroom was so dirty. I mentioned it to an employee who was cleaning the theatre we had just left, and she said "I expect it is." I told her I would just mention it to her manager. I actually reported the issues to the theatre after the first time we were in there, but have noticed no changes at all. We went to the same exact theatre a week later and there was no difference. I am attaching some photos of the theatre yesterday. It was probably 15 degrees above comfortable in the theatre, the seats were gross, and the screen (we saw The Good Dinosaur in 3D) had a huge dust line across it. This movie theater is ok in comparison to the other AMC theaters in Houston. It's not exactly the cleanest theater I've visited in the city. Regardless of the service I receive, these theaters will NEVER receive a 5 stars from me because of their outrageous prices for food and drinks. It's always been ridiculous, they offer discounts with rewards cards, however you have to constantly go to the movies and spend a lot of money to even see a hint of a discount. It's not worth it in my opinion. I will say their service is quick and efficient which is why I will give them a 3 stars. read more

Went to AMC Deerbrook 24 tonight for a little movie date with moms for national Cinema Day... let's just say experience allll the way BAD... there was absolutely NO A/C.. & they didn't fix the problem of turning it on but yet still selling tickets .. inside the movie theatre it was TRASH EVERYWHERE!! & i mean everywhere from the floor slippery to trash on the floor & in the seats.. it smelt so bad ! Our family recently viewed the new spider man movie. We usually go to showbiz but decided to give amc a chance. First, this theater was filthy. On their website, it advertises they clean for Covid related reasons yet the theatre appears as if it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. The chairs were uncomfortable and the floors were sticky. Popcorn was everywhere at the start of the movie. On top of all that, they were out of their 7$ hot dog and pretzel bites AND pepperoni pizza. I have no idea how this place is still in business. The general manager is total Karen . I purchased 2 tickets to last nights show Bloodshot at 8:15 and saw they had an earlier option at 7:15. I called her and asked if I could use them and she said no you need to purchase 2 more tickets for the 7:15 and get a refund online or in person. I tried to refund my extra tickets online and the website said it had to be done before 8:15. The stupid GM did not say this and is not offering me a refund. Screw her and her Dumb ass . NEVER COME HERE! THIS PLACE SUCKKKKSSSS!!!! I went there to watch Elvis last week and man I have never had a worst experience at a movie theater ever. I placed an order for food to pick up, nothing I haven't don't before, but when I get there, they tell me that it's too late for them to make it so I have to request a refund. Mind you the movie already started 15 minutes before in all that I was waiting: I ask can I get the refund later? They tell me no that they're about to close. I'm like fuck it, I'll wait. But then they tell me that can only refund it to a gift card. So the dude spends 20 minutes looking for gift cards and at the end they didn't have any. That I have to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager. So I ended up missing half of the movie, no snacks, and down 30 bucks because we all know they over charge the hell out of the food. I went on a Saturday night and they only had one worker at the register for cash tickets. Not all the machines worked for self serve credit card tickets. They only have a couple workers at the concession stand and the lines are very long. They have a concession stand upstairs but everytime I go, it's empty and never being utilized. Just paid nearly 30 dollars to visit a zoo. I enter the establishment... popcorn littered as well as trash as far as the eye can see. Trampled trash lay among the floors. Now I go to see a Christian movie at 8. About 25-30 minutes into the movie a group of people a large group at that comes into the theater! Yelling curse words including the N word and the B word in a Christian movie! They were obviously movie hopping and looking for a place to hang out after the mall closed. They kicked my seat the whole time and cursed and talked with an outside voice the entire movie. Now if you enjoy paying for a movie and side of jungle animals by al means this is your place! Poorly staffed, closed concessions, closed restrooms and poor AC in the theater. I have been multiple times including the IMAX and Dolby theatre. My family friends will continue our AMC viewing in Spring. A-List members do not feel special here as all queues are used by anyone and priority is not shown to those that pay for the extra features. read more

This is the absolute worst theater in Houston. Movie was to start at 1445 hrs, my daughter and I arrived a little early because we like seeing trailers. We had to use our lights on our phones to find our seats. The theater was filthy...when we found the manager at 1445, and she had no idea of what was going on. This was my third or fourth time at this theater. This was my second time seeing "Gravity." The first time I saw this movie, I went the Edwards Theater in Houston and had a very positive experience. This was a completely opposite one. Audience people were extremely rude, talked and were constantly out of their seats throughout the entire movie. I had to get out of my seat to go tell an adult mother to put down an animal balloon that her son was waving in front of the screen. Little kids (ages around 5-7) were brought to this film, and there was another couple who brought a very young, and upset infant. It was a circus! This was not very different from the previous experience I had at this theater. We complained to the manager. She gave us our money back and vouchers for another AMC, but scolded us for not asking for some remote with a security button BEFORE the movie started. How were we supposed to know this? And, what kind of person asks for this before they enter the theater (as if over-predicting a bad experience..?). The whole place is dirty and the bathrooms are certainly no exception. The clientel here are very sketchy (to match the creepy parking garage, where it feels like walking through is like walking through a drug ring....We never park in there!), and seeing a movie here is like going to a circus with a movie in the background. We won't be back, and I'd advise to go elsewhere if you want a quiet, and worthwhile movie watching experience. read more

Me and my sister planned to see Spider-Verse at 7:35pm at the Deerbrook 24 location in Humble 12/29/18. Left and demanded a refund because apparently staff didn't bother to clean up from prior showtimes. Also, the image was not properly aligned to the screen. Unacceptable. I'll never go back to this theater. We went to watch a PG13 movie the other day and the kids there were so bad that we had to leave. They were cursing, yelling, throwing popcorn. Deerbrook Amc should know better than to not have staff in the theater to eject these disruptive teens. After a few minutes of watching the movie, a sheriff came to tell them to be quiet and they were disrespecting him by saying "yes ma am" to him. We knew that there was no way we were going to be able to enjoy the movie, so we walked out and asked for a refund. The manager just gave us a refund and didn't even apologize for our trouble. Auditorium 6 ========== Auditorium 6 is a very small screen with very steep seating. You enter the theater from both sides at the back and make a u-turn up the stairs to the seats. The rows are about 12 seats wide. If you go back four or five rows you will be above the screen. The side fed entrances remain lit for the entire show washing out both sides of the screen in darker scenes. The theater does not have surround sound. It has front speakers and a minimal woofer. It has no middle or back speakers. The sound system was muffled and muddy. It was made significantly worst by the deep pitched seating. It easier to hear people chewing pop corn than the dialogue from the movie. The sound from the neighboring theater was frequently louder than the movie we were watching. Finally to add insult to injury, the seats are pitched forward and do not push back making it uncomfortable for taller people. If your movie is playing here, get a refund and buy the DVD. Easily the worst movie theater in the entire area. If you use an app (like almost everyone does) to buy tickets now you have to stand in some stupid line and have them printed out. But they don't tell you this until you stand in the line to get into the theater only to find out that the guy collecting tickets doesn't have a scanner like every other theater in the world. And why is there even a line there at all? How slow can you collect tickets to let people in? And then they ask you for ID for your R-rated movie even though bars have stopped asking this 44 year old for ID for at least fifteen years. Do I F-ing look like I could be seventeen with my white beard?? The soda machines taste like there's no syrup at all in them. It's like fizzy water with a hint of coke. Then the movie is on the second floor. And guess what? The escalators are off. MF!!!! Never coming back. read more

This is the worst theater I have been to in several years. The place is dirty, restroom on 2nd floor was closed. You have to go outside the theater then back in to use the dirty men's room on the first floor. The seats were like sitting on a wood bench, and the seat back did not move. The entire row of seats creaked every time anyone moved in their chair...and because the seats were so uncomfortable there was plenty of adjusting to try to get comfortable. There was nobody at the front counter to purchase a ticket from and the first 3 kiosk to self purchase were broken. I waited in line for a very long time to purchase a large soda and popcorn, only to get crappy popcorn and the useless attendant handed me an empty cup. I asked him where the soda was and he gave me attitude about filling it myself in the machines that were hidden behind the counter. There were 6 Coca Cola machines where you can customize your soda, only 3 were "working". This is about as stupid of an idea as I have seen...when you are in a hurry to get to your seat and there are 15 people ahead of you trying to decide on which of the 10,000 combinations they would like to self fill their cups with, really?? I paid about $17 for a crappy popcorn and a soda and then had to wait (after I paid) another 10 minutes just to get a Diet Coke. I almost forgot to mention the "automated" soda experience also included the machine being out of ice. Once I finally got to the seat, the screen was the smallest screen I can ever remember paying to see a movie on. The sound was ear piercing, not because it was so loud, but the speakers were about as good as the popcorn. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others to stay away from this place. I wouldn't come back here if every movie, and concession stand was free. Sad that someone is actually being compensated for "managing" this place. read more

This theater needs some serious help. It smells like mildew and they never seem to have enough people working. The upstairs bathroom is gross and smelly. I only went to this theater to attend a screening of the Fluffy movie and the next thing I know I was watching the movie Tammy. WTH? Several people got up to inform the staff and I even called the front in hopes that someone would come and fix it.
