While I was on my way out, I needed help getting my key and the closest worker was José. He called me a slut after getting bothered that they asked for him to help me- not very welcoming. For or some reason, if you're under 21 they keep your license at the front which is a little weird. At the end of the night when the bar closes and there's no receptionist, they just leave your license at the front on the table, so anybody can take it. I could've gotten my license stolen or my information taken and this place would've been sued really bad. Line dancing fun! We have people from out of town and one of them suggested we do line dancing lessons. We really enjoyed the instructors and they were so helpful in guiding us when they "noticed" we weren't able to follow along. This was an absolute fun time and we took our 83 year old mother and she had so much fun! Get off the couch and enjoy a line dancing lesson and so good music and super fun people watching. read more

sucks I can't put 0 stars; I had a really upsetting and embarrassing experience here due to the behavior of one bartender. I am 19 years old and was completely sober, I drove myself there and did not drink at all. Without any warning, a female bartender came up to me yelling and accusing me of drinking out of my sister's drink. I calmly denied it and asked her to check the security cameras because I knew I hadn't done anything wrong. Instead of verifying the situation, she continued screaming at me and causing a huge scene in front of the entire bar. While she was yelling at me, I became extremely anxious and stuttered slightly while trying to defend myself. She then mocked my stutter and used it as "proof" to accuse me of being drunk. This was mortifying and humiliating, especially since it happened in front of my friends and other customers. I was stuttering because I was being publicly embarrassed and pressured, not because I was intoxicated. The situation escalated further when she put her hands on me and pushed me toward the door, completely unprovoked. I remained calm throughout the interaction. After multiple people, including my friends, told her she should have checked the cameras first, she walked away and went back behind the bar without apologizing. Being falsely accused is bad enough, but being yelled at, mocked for a speech issue, and physically pushed by staff is completely unacceptable. This could have been avoided if she had taken a moment to verify the facts instead of escalating the situation. read more

Came out on a Wed night to try their free dance lessons with Red. LOVED loved the place! Melissa was our bar tender and she is amazing! Attentive, quick, friendly - just really makes you feel welcomed. And her drinks are great. Tried a few items from their menu and was honestly surprised at how good the bar food is here! The Ball Busters (boudin balls) are very good with great dipping sauce. The bottle caps (fried pickles) have a nice kick to them. And then the Big Mike (BLT sandwich) comes piled high with bacon on texas toast and is wow! On to the dance floor- this was our first time attending the 7:30p Beginner dance class. The Instructor, Red, is a fantastic trainer. He had us laughing along as we fumbled through learning new steps. With his good sense of humor and patience we were dancing around the floor in no time. He has really perfected these beginner classes and we are looking forward to coming a few more Wed nights to keep working on it! Added bonus, you don't have to come with a dance partner because he's going to move everyone around with multiple people as you learn so don't worry about needing to bring a date. Just come willing to learn. Loved it. The overall feel of the club was friendly locals and a general vibe of having a good time. They are not too busy on a Wed night, perfect for stumbling through practicing your new moves and having some surprisingly good food. And the DJ played some great music to keep everything moving. Plenty of surface parking too. We will be back! read more

One of the last places in Houston that hasn't banned smoking...this place would be great if you didn't feel like you just smoked a pack of Marlboro Red's after being there for 30 minutes. Stampede is close and although Stetsons plays better music, you won't smell like an ashtray at the end of the night. read more

He doesn't take any type of request which is whatever but when the bar is dead you think there would be some type of adjustment. If you're going here to do any type of dancing, don't. I honestly can't say a single bad thing about Stetson's. This bar was recommended to my friends and I by a very helpful airport employee; my 3 friends and I were traveling to Cancun and had an overnight layover in Houston, so we wanted to experience some real "cowboy, Texas" bars - and we were not disappointed! The staff at Stetson's is exceptional. We walked into the establishment around midnight with two large carry-ons each, and the front desk attendant gladly stored our luggage behind the desk for us. Everyone greeted us and joked that we must be moving in with all our bags, and when they learned that we were from out of town and visiting for the night, they made us feel so incredibly welcome, giving us suggestions on what to drink and eat (especially at Whattaburger)! The bartenders were so friendly and attentive, and the drinks were very reasonably priced! The people who frequent Stetson's are also extremely friendly and wonderful people. My friends and I grabbed a beer and sat at a table by ourselves to watch the line dancing, but before we could even finish our beers, the people at the table next to us had come over, introduced themselves, and forced our shy selves onto the dance floor to teach us Texas line dancing! I really can't emphasize how great this place is, and the friends we made that night prompted us to return to Stetson's the following week during our second layover in Houston on our return flight home. The following week, we walked into Stetson's, and the front desk attendant from the week before immediately recognized us and let us in for free, making us feel even MORE welcomed than I thought possible. All the bartenders and employees from the week before recognized us and went out of their way to say hi! The friends we made from the week before were all there and we had the absolute best time learning more line dances and meeting Humble locals. The bar itself is wonderfully decorated with a big dance floor, where they play a good mix of country/line dancing music and top 40. Hands down, one of the best nightlife experiences we have ever had If we are ever in Humble again (which we hope to be!) Stetson's will be our first stop. xoxo, Boston read more

Great music, love the friendly people, bartenders are wonderful and they recommend great drinks and always friendly service. If you are from out of town and need a place to unwind, this is the place to take a break and get rid of the jet lag. Stetsons is like a second home to me. The staff there is very friendly and very knowledgeable. I always have a good time when I go and always feel like I am welcomed when I walk in. GREAT DJ!! Really enjoy the mix of old and new music, the more obscure songs I used to love and new ones I Shazam because I immediately love it. Good sets for different types of dances (good polkas and waltzes). Staff is friendly and they split the place with smoking/non-smoking. Bartenders are great, but a very light pour.
