The bathrooms at this establishment are absolutely disgusting. Most toilets were in disrepair.

Friendly staff. Comfortable seats that recline. Plenty of options for snacks, food, beverages, and even alcoholic beverages The seats could use some upholstery touch ups. A lot of the most used head rests are looking pretty beat up and same for some of the cup holders. The theater has occasional technical issues and power outages but I imagine any movie theater does... The AMC app is great. I love being able to get tickets and choose my seating in advance. Well maintained facility overall - especially considering the number of moviegoers going through the building and theaters The parking lot has handicap spots and the building is handicap accessible with large doorways and handicap seating and spaces in the theaters. Always have an awful experience at this theatre. I messed up and got tickets through the app thinking they were for a different theatre. Walk into get our mobile tickets and food purchased on the app. First girl walked away from me as I'm standing in front of her. Other girl is on her phone, boy says to girl closest to me "are you going to help her?" She replies I thought she was going to move over to the other register (to the girl on the phone). I scan ticket she asks if we want popcorn or drinks. I said it's already been purchased on the app. She said it's not in her system to which I pulled up my receipt on the app and showed it to her. Get our items and head to to soda machine. No ice, they are not in proper working order anytime I have been there. Go into theatre, movie starts a family with 3 kids under the age of 5 come in. The entire movie was kids running around, crying, screaming, jumping up and down etc... no one came into the theatre to check the entire movie. There were several people working. At least 8. This is my favorite theatre. The employees are kind and helpful. The theatre is always clean and there is never a long line to wait in.

Upon our most recent visit we were incredibly disappointed and disgusted by the lack of cleanliness that occurs here. There is absolutely NO reason whatsoever that multiple people must be standing around behind the counter of a dead lobby and theater seating should be in this condition. This is unacceptable! If one has time to lean, they have time to clean. This experience has left a set of repeat customers feeling disappointed, neglected and unsafe. AMC, you have the ability to do better. Perhaps there's a different type of 'cleaning house' that should be initiated here. read more

worst theater ever... people behind the counter have no clue... I ordered icees for my grandkids online only to get here to find the machine was broken... guy had no idea how to handle. I ordered carmel corn which is supposed to be warm and I got a bucket of cold stale corn for $12....I usually go to Berkshire AMC AND NOW I LNOW WJY.. so much better! I will never come back here!! This was my first time and the place was absolutely disgusting. There was butter and popcorn all on the floor by the butter station. And by the soda machine there was stuff all on the floor. The movie station we were in the garbages were beyond full before the movie started, and still beyond full after the movie ended. I watched people put their garbage on the floor and walk away. I will NEVER come back. (*Update) Do not eat the chicken there. We spent $50 on snacks and food and we have all gotten sick after leaving there and getting home. I went here to watch the little mermaid with my family. the movie was scheduled for 9 pm but it didn't play until almost 10. The the entire theatre and seats were dirty and not cleaned. The theater was not monitored and young "adults" were chatting and on their cell phones. The movie played fine and there were no technical difficulties, and the concession stand service was good, so I will leave two stars. Pretty disappointing for americas largest cinema chain. If I could give this business a 0 I would, this is not an AMC issue because I have never had issues at the AMC near Berkshire (AMC 8). Their business hours are 11Am-11Pm me and my girlfriend had tickets at 7:45pm and she got there at 8:12pm and the doors were already closed, while there was movies at 9 and such. As I am walking out of the theater to let them know my girlfriend had paid for her ticket and was outside waiting, when I told them they told me to open the door, first of all the doors shouldn't be closed and I shouldn't have to open them. As we were walking back all I see is the employees cracking jokes while the whole theater is filthy. They also closed the food area at around 8:04pm and said if we came back we would not get food because they were closing. The food area, Bathroom and halls were absolutely filthy. The only place that might not have been dirty were probably the theaters which we couldn't see because it was dark. Most seats were torn up and cup holders missing, if you're a multi-million dollar company these are the bare minimum since you're already charging like 20$ for popcorn and a drink. When we were leaving at around 9:45pm still 1hour and 15 mins before closing everything was turned off and no one in sight. I went to get a lid for my cup because "I had unlimited refills" and as I am leaving this guy comes out and raises his voice saying "I don't want to see you back here" I try to explain that I just needed a lid for my cup and no one was there, which he kept attempting to cut me off, I became disgusted and told him everything I am typing in here now. So whoever you are I hope you see this, and just to let you know do something else because customer service and de-escalation are not for you. AMC do better. read more

Ugh, we are sometimes forced here to see something good like Dark Waters -- or else we have to go even farther away. Though they have revamped and installed fancy seating, something is going on, and there is never enough staff, so the outside ticket window is often closed. That means you have to stand in the food line, which can be verrrry long. This line has caused us to miss the beginning of a film more than once. If you think getting there 10 minutes early is enough time, you might wanna adjust that. I asked staff why it was like this and was told that people did not show up for work. And then there is the "A-List" line (ones who pay more for a membership) which is just so ridiculous, where you are made to feel cheap by having A-Listers jump ahead of you in line. It violates the of sanctity of who-was-here-first which many people are obsessed over -- and also it just seems elitist to make people pay extra to get basic service like a ticket and popcorn in a reasonable amount of time. Apparently, staff is forced to constantly hawk the A-List membership -- management maybe wants the rabble who are not enrolled to suffer the very slow proletariat experience, so they will sign up. Lol. Last time, the theater was not even cleaned between films, and we circled many times to find two seats together that were not strewn with food and napkins, ugh. The trailers were insanely loud, though the film itself was fine. All of this seems like very poor management, and we avoid this theater whenever possible. The parking lot also reminds us of an apocalypse zone for some reason, due to the mostly dead situation of this poor mall. read more

We were at this theater two weeks ago and the place was filthy. The bathroom was disgusting from unflushed toilets some with paper towels in them, and no toilet paper to use in most of the individual stalls. The entire bathroom wasn't cleaned or gone over at all. Who knows the last time it was cleaned. You can't expect to have a bathroom clean in the morning in a theater then have people coming in all day and it still be presentable in the evening without cleaning it in between. The week after this we decided to go to another theater a few miles away and it is larger then this one and we had a manager open the door for us, someone was cleaning up in the lobby area, and when I went into the bathroom it was clean well stocked and someone in there sweeping the floor and making sure everything looked presentable. Perhaps your theater needs better management with someone there who is present to watch over things and make sure the place looks decent. There was at least one person working there who was just sitting on a stool looking at their cellphone who could have easily been at the very least quickly checking the bathroom for supplies. People pay a lot of money between the movie and snacks and expect to have a decent place to go to. We will not be coming back to this theater and will not recommend it to anyone else. read more

AMC recently took over this theater that has changed hands several times. I was excited to hear about upgrades like reclining seats and a bar, so I joined the A-List. The theater is far from done. Pros: The seats recline and there are partial walls so you don't see the people in front of you. No obstructed views. Cons: The place is filthy. Carpet dirty, you don't really want to touch anything. Bathrooms are horrendous. I went on a Tuesday, several of the toilets looked like someone had explosive diarrhea. I went back on Saturday of the same week, toilets were the same, they had not been cleaned. I wish I had taken pictures. The tickets are more pricey than other theaters in town, which is a disappointment since the theater is such a mess. They should've redone it completely they reopened it. read more

My family went to this theater for the first time and I honestly had very low expectations based on the reviews. But I was happily surprised that the place exceeded my expectations. The place was clean, bathrooms were clean and did not stink, the theater room was cozier and clean, and the reclining chairs were very comfortable. The audio was excessively loud and definitely could have been turned down a bit. But all in all the family really enjoyed going to this theater and we look forward to another movie night. read more

This location while i was there was Mid remodel. The staff was well trained and the open Auditoriums with the recliners installed were clean and the chairs worked perfectly. The new AMC neon is up on the theater but the existing mall signage still directs cars to "Cinema Center" the Theaters original name. Being in mid remodel the walls in the halls are still Primer White and the old carpet is still down. Also the new AMC internal signs are up but the Restrooms are not renovated yet and the Audioturems do not have there LCD now showing displays yet. read more

I We saw the new Star Wars movie here over the holidays and staff of this theater is obviously unhappy and the general management has apparently adopted a policy of refusing to provide access to water; they tore out the water fountain and will not provide cups to use the water dispenser on the soda machine. For this reason I had to poor water from the soda machine and stuck my face into it; I hope I didn't contaminate it too much with my cold! LOL! Silly general manager.. read more

The staff was unprofessional and rude. I spent close to $70 for a movie date with my girlfriend. The food made my girlfriend sick, she asked for change so while she waited for her food so she could play the claw machine, they told her they couldn't give her change unless she spent more money. It got to a point where 5 staff members stood like mindless zombies and didn't have any sense of urgency or customer service. Also the bathrooms were dirty. I will have to take my business elsewhere since they didn't care about our experience. I'm willing to travel further and with today's gas costs and spend my money and support another business because of todays poor performance. read more

I was at the theater last nite with a friend to watch a one night only movie, Christmas Jars. Hadn't been there for over a year or more. This is not a review about the theater itself as I thought it was fine. Comfy recliner no obstruction of view. The movie was one of the best ever. Touching ever heart of ever person there, which were no more than about 20. The movie made you cry and laugh, but mostly cry the kind of tears that you have no control over. I loved it. After the movie ended there was a brief trailer about a real family who had been blessed by a Christmas Jar. It was very touching. After that there was an absolutely horrible spoof like trailer which made everyone feel like it was making fun of this amazing movie. It was comprised of tv personalities familiar to most, breaking Christmas jars and acting like idiots. I do not believe that the author of this book would be one bit happy about this totally disrespectful outburst regarding this movie. We did not stay to watch the rest of it. It took away the good feeling we had when the movie ended. I just had to share my opinion. Again, I do not know who was responsible for this display that truly left myself and many others that were there last night very upset. It changed an uplifting experience into anything but. That "feel good"feeling vanished into thin air. read more

The new reclining seats are nice but definitely smaller than the Fox Berkshire reclining seats. The theatre needs to cleaned more often. Bathrooms and the carpeting are always dirty. Everyone working there is helpful and courteous in my experience, but the general neglect when it comes to keeping the place clean is a real turn off. On the plus side the admission price is way less than Fox Berkshire. read more

The projectionist must of been asleep as the film we were watching was not properly centered on the screen cutting off important information. Kind of spoiled a really good film when you don't get to see the entire picture. There are only a few things I go to the Fairgrounds Mall for anymore Cinema Center, Farmers Market, Boscovs, Golden Eagle, The Deb. The Cinema Center is really nice because the lines for the ticket booths are never really long, the parking lot is large enough to accommodate huge crowds. The staff has always been really friendly and helpful, they handle midnight showings really well. Food prices are average, same as ticket pricing. They have an arcade for kids, or kids at heart. The seats are comfortable and the theaters are decent sized. Negatives the only one I really have is they don't seem to be good at updating their times and such on sites such as flixter or Fandango and I haven't been able to buy tickets for this theater through Fandango before... but with the theater being so close going to the ticket window ahead of time is no big deal. read more

I went to see sausage party for my birthday, we rushed there hoping to be on time, and we were denied access because my boyfriend (17, legal age to see an R rated movie), didn't have ID, BUT I DID. The guy at the front was rude and unprofessional saying "rules are fucking rules, lady." You're disgusting and you lost our business. read more

Unfortunately, i have to say, i was bitten by bedbugs while watching the 3d screening of kong while at this theatre. Although the staff was sure to process my complaint thoroughly, i am still completely turned off by the thought of how neglected the theatre must be in order to house bedbugs. My intention is not to bash this business, but to raise awareness instead. This shakes me to the core, and will most certainly put a damper on something i found enjoyable in the past.
