It's been a very long time since I have been here. I am glad I went with a friend to see Transformers One. Seats all re-done, much better. Popcorn was good and freshly made. Of course they are overpriced on concessions but what movie theatre isn't? Theatre ambience was fine. No issues with audience behavior. No issues with staff. I will update to more stars if consistent on next visit. Overall an average, solid 3 stars for being a simple visit to a movie. read more

This place has gone down the toilet. It use to be a great place to go to but there is no enthusiasm from the employees when offering customer service. The bathrooms look as though they haven't been cleaned in a long time as there was a yellowish film or stain around the commode and urine all over the floors around the urinals. And the A/C was either not working or they didn't have it cut down enough as it was hot and muggy in the theatre. This is just the the one in Hammond, LA. Can't speak for any other AMC theatres. However, I will either stream at home or go to Movie Tavern from now on. read more

Kind of the same as all the AMCs. Big, clean. The seats in the 3D theatre 2 were comfortable, large recliners with shake technology. So, when something boomed or blew up on screen, the seat shakes. It was a hot muggy day, but the A/C was on artic setting. It was a cold mother in there. Also, I saw the popcorn being made, yet it tasted stale. The popcorn and soda costs are exorbitant. read more

After a hard day of studying and preparing for finals my roommate and I decided to go watch Jigsaw. Honestly, I wasn't surprised or impressed by this movie theater at all. It was quite basic to say the least. However, it was very easy to find the room number where Jigsaw was playing due to the huge letters signaling which room was which. Went early because my six year old was excited to see The Little Mermaid and they checked us in and couldn't get into the theater because they we're still cleaning it. There was absolutely no bench or an place to sit and wait for the 20 minute cleaning. Totally disappointed and won't come back just for that reason. Seating is a must at a theater! read more

Love the small intimate theaters with the great reclining seats. The setting was great but they need to turn the air-conditioning on! It was hot before the movie started so my friend went and complained. Nowhere for the remainder of movie! Nothing is more miserable than being hot and sticking to your scene in the movie theater. read more

This theatre is always clean! The reclining chairs are awesome. The employees are always pleasant as far as I've encountered and I've been here at least a dozen times. My only issue is when we stand in the Stubs Premiere line they sometimes take people from the other line first. That's not how it's supposed to work. read more

First of all when did going to a matinee cost $47( two adults one child) just for tickets. I purchased ahead of time on line so ensure we had a seat. $7 "convenience" charge. I smuggled in popcorn and reseese's but purchased a large drink, almost $8. WTH!! I have a recliner at home and movies I can rent from direct tv. This will not happen again. You have overpriced yourselves out of my business. Your ticket taker sent me to the wrong theatre twice which had me sitting in my seats, unfortunately it was in the wrong theatre and we had to get up and move and missed the first ten minutes of our movie. read more

A movie theatre is a movie theatre, right? Some are old, some are new, but if you've seen one, you've seen them all. Ticket booth, a-ok! Ticket taker, a-ok! Concessions, as overpriced as usual and a-ok! Movie-going experience, all good! However, the thing that kinda' shocked me was the women's restroom. It definitely needs an upgrade. The sinks have basically turned a brownish color and totally caught me off guard when I washed my hands. Looked more like a restroom in a truck stop. Please, save the ladies' room! It's a movie theatre. That's probably all you need to know, but what the heck? I'll keep going... outside are a couple of bored employees hiding behind huge panes of glass with tiiiiiiiny windows cut in them to pass money and tickets through. Inside are a couple more bored employees who take the tickets you bought four seconds earlier and rip them up. There's also a concession stand where they trade you popcorn and soda for a week's pay. But seriously, the lobby and the bathrooms were clean, the stadium seating was nice, and the employees did smile a couple of times when they thought we weren't looking. read more

I've been seeing movies here since they opened and the prices have tripled and the quality has gone downhill-the movie selections are terrible and cliche' and the whole place is gross and hot-i want to ESCAPE the heat when i see a movie..surely the 40 bucks i spent on myself and my 3 year old (2 standard (non 3-D)tickets to a 5:00 showing and a small popcorn and small sprite) can go towards turning the air conditioning on! The line-maze contraptions are ridiculous and "specialty" members (whatever THAT means) get to blatantly cut ahead of us "average" folk in the ticket line. This place has improved a lot since they renovated and introduced new seating. However, they still sorely lack in choice of films most of the time. Basically, only major blockbusters and kids' films are offered here. read more

They did not let me and my friend into a movie we pre-purchased tickets to because it was a rated r movie and we don't have someone 21+ with us but we are both 18. THAT IS STUPID. Someone that is 17 can go into the movie by themselves but not 2 18 year olds. Wow okay. read more

I have been going to this theater for years but it has gone severely downhill. Ticket prices have sored, the employees have lost any sort of enthusiasm or professionalism, and the facility itself is poorly maintained which is obvious by the smell of the seats and "closed for maintenance" signs in the restroom every visit. I would highly recommend travelling the extra 15 to 20 miles to see a movie in a cleaner, more affordable, and friendlier staffed theater for a better experience. read more

I will never go back to this theatre. I bought a ticket for a show that had got cancelled, and because my friend and I were never informed of this cancellation we showed up ready to see our movie. Turns out, they let us buy tickets AFTER the movie had been cancelled. Staff was very unhelpful and kept sending us to talk to other people. When we finally got a manager we were told we could not receive a refund because they had already counted their register and that we could not come back the next day for our refund either. We offered movie passes that were insistent that we did not want. So not only could I not see my movie, but we also could not get our money back. The manager was so rude and told us there was nothing she do for us with "too bad, so sad" face. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at such a sad excuse for a theatre. read more

The inside of it feels gross. Once while I was the movie I felt water dripping down from the ceiling. This went on for the whole entire movie. It was disgusting. I would have moved to a different seat but the place was packed. It was the worst movie experience. I will never go to the Hammond movie theater again. It absolutely sucked. read more

The new motorized seats in this place are fantastic! Very comfortable with cup holders and easy to use recline and reset buttons. They are trying to remodel during business hours and address some of the concerns patrons mentioned. Bathrooms are being worked on, and they have added assigned seating. (Not crazy about the new seating policy. I like to just find a seat that suits me and sit down.) Another plus is the theater location. You can shop in the excellent shopping center across from the front parking lot after the feature is over. Target, Academy, Home Depot are all waiting to take your money after the movie. The candy counter is over priced as hell, but that should not be a surprise. You have to pour your own soft drinks after purchase . There is a soda fountain on each side of the counter. As far as the heat some complain about, I did not find that to be a problem in theater ten. It was not hot, but not freezing ass cold either. The AC in some theaters are cranked up so high, you almost need a jacket to keep from turning into a block of ice. The AMC Hammond Palace 10 was comfortable, and the temperature outside was in the 90s. I honestly hate and loathe the multi-plex experience, but this multi is about as good as any of them out there can be. read more

New to me the reserved seating at this location. Comfy recline and no worries about looking over peoples heads. Refreshments STILL grossly over priced. 4.95 for a 1$ pack of M & M's is WRONG. Kids pack 10$ disgraceful. Management and others wonder why people 'smuggle' items in. The icing on the cake(not the theaters fault ) someone in our seats. Woman cannot find her tickets. HAD no idea they were reserved seats. Well of course not, she purchased upon arrival and her and her entire brood were scattered. NOT my problem. Proceeds to tell me she didn't know it was reserved seating, however when you give you tix to the usher he CLEARLY tells you the theater. Seat number and tells you to keep you tix through the entire movie. SHE KNEW. Needless to say,stupid woman proceeds to argue with ME where is she and her KID suppose to sit. My reply. NOT my problem please remove yourself from our seats or I will be happy to get assistance. She moved. As for the movie Paddington 2. Cute movie and my guest was pleased. we are a stubs member and we go to the amc Hammond palace 10 movies at least once a week. to night 8/12/18 sunday night and saw spy that dumped me. the movie was good but close to the end two different parties came in and disturbed the whole show with loud laughing and noise. my husband and I went to the attendant to tell him about the disturbance and ask him if they still sent someone in to check things like that and he said they did when the movies were full. so we ask to speck to the manger and ask her the same and she said they would report it. I told her she acted like she wasn't going to do anything about it and didn't care. they should have offer a refund on the movie that we had just paid for over 20.00. this issue needs to be resolved. We go there because it is close to our home. First the staff needs to be more friendly, it is their job to make people want to come back, they really need to work on that. Second, they need to up-grade with more different things to eat, & have just a line for pick up orders , don't have people just waiting in the same line while others just want popcorn & drinks. I got to know some of the people there, but miss the others who left because they were friendly, & as for Management ?, where are they ?, they should greet people who come in also. read more

Average among theaters. Clean appearance through lobby, in the theaters and restrooms. Staff is nice but not overly friendly, as in most theaters. Screening, have had no problems with picture quality, sound, or interruptions. Pricing is about average. Do not offer student rates as far as I know. read more

I can go to Baton Rouge for movies, but why-Hammond has a clean well managed facility. I go and take my grand kids there on a regular basis.
