Some providers are cold and that makes such a vulnerable experience- being a patient that has concerns or fears- much worse than it needs to be. Both she and the medical professional who took me back to the examination room and listened to my concerns were empathetic, kind, and smart. Aesthetics is only a small part of her knowledge base and she is amazing at what she does! I stopped by the MedSpa on a whim. It's right next door to my accountant's office, so I decided to check them out. I'm so glad I let curiosity get the best of me. Dr. Dana was at the front when I entered and I asked her if there were any treatment options for the dark circles under my eyes, which several dermatologists have told me was hereditary and "just a part of getting older". I had no appointment, but Dr. Dana immediately took me to the back to discuss my options. It was like my entire world opened up. There were so many treatment options available, including many that were topical and non-invasive. I was absolutely blown away. What I really appreciated is that she wasn't trying to sell me anything, but really just educate me and inform me so that I could decide what was best for me. She sat with me for about an hour (again, with no appointment) to put together a treatment plan and discuss next steps. Now when I say she's a wealth of knowledge, I can't overstate that. She has been incredibly proactive in recommending things that I didn't even know were available to me. Things that I didn't even ask her about. For example, we were casually talking about the weather and I was telling her how dry it was making my scalp. She was able to recommend a product to help me manage the dryness (something that my dermatologist never thought to do) and it has been an absolute game changer. During one of my treatments, I casually mentioned how tired I have been feeling after work and how I didn't have much energy at the end of the day. She could have just smiled and nodded, treating it like casual conversation, but instead she pulled that conversational thread to try to get to the root cause. She then offered some recommendations to try to help me get my energy back. What started as casual conversation ended with me feeling like a brand new person by the time I left the MedSpa. This place doesn't just rejuvenate my body, it rejuvenates my spirit. Everyone in there is just so kind, welcoming, and wonderful. It's really like being among friends. It's a place to relax, get away from the world for a little bit, indulge in some much-deserved self-care, as well as truly be cared for. They are a European spa so have a lot of holistic practices and get much of their product imported. Fantastic skincare practices and highly experienced aesthetician. The office manager, Tatiana, is also great if not a bit pushy about membership. I do realize that is where a lot of their revenue stream comes from but they can't be that pushy every single time a client comes in for a service. That's ultimately why I started going elsewhere for my BBL is due to the pressure-heavy sales pitch to become a member. She's perfected my medicine and never gave up, even after switching to over 4 medications. I also cannot thank her enough for being my advocate when a radiology place mistreated me during a transvaginal ultrasound and held my test results as revenge for my Yelp review. She called them herself and made them release them to her. She also is still continuing my care with my chronic pain. She fit me in before Christmas this year to personally do an ultrasound and prescribe medication for me to be at ease. Dr. Coleman goes above and beyond. She listens. She cares.
