This theater is great! Extremely comfortable seats, great screens, and amazing sound. I've read some of the other reviews, and their complaints are ridiculous. Every theater is expensive (unless you go to the $1 theater for 2nd run shows) and every theater starts the previews at the "showtime" - no one likes to miss previews! The service is fine - I've come to expect the this-is-my-summer-job-and-it-pays-nothing attitude from cinema employees. The kids at this cinema at least smile and will even wipe the side of your cup if soda is dripping down - can't say that about most places. If you don't want to come to this theater, great! I like my favorite places to be a little less crowded! read more

We were looking forward to Turndot, the 1st Opera at the Met this season. The biggest problem was the temperature in the theater, restrooms, etc. IT WAS SOOO VERY COLD! By the time the Opera was over (3 hours) we could hardly wait to get out of there. This was October 12 and the temp outside was in the 60's and sunny! What happened? I am not even sure exactly where to start. I went into the theater to see the movie NOPE on Friday. I bought my ticket and then turned around to get my drink and food. Upon getting to the counter the employees were busy messing around and not attending to guest. Finally a blonde girl came over to help me. I ordered a large soda and chicken tenders which came out to 26 dollars and some change. I inserted my card the transaction went through. She immediately said oh no I forgot the fryer is broken can I get you something else. I said okay and asked for nachos instead. She "cancelled" the transaction and charged me 25 and some change instead. Keep in mind she threw away both of my receipts. I watched her do this. The nachos were nasty and the theater was messy but the movie was wonderful! However after checking my card transactions I realized the employee charged me twice. I called the theater and they told me because their employee didn't give me a receipt and I live in another state ( was visiting family) that there was nothing they could do and to take it up with my bank. I asked what if the bank couldn't do anything and the employee said sorry but at that point there is nothing that can be done and to accept I was charged double. I worked for AMC for two years in my home state and we would never treat guest this way. And there is absolutely more they could have done. I would never recommend this extremely unprofessional place to anyone. Better off going to another. Should also mention how every machine was out of ice and some drinks. Things were a mess and they were not at all busy. Also girl behind the counter had her hair down. And it was very long. read more

Went to see movie on Xmas day. Men's restrooms and food condiment areas are filthy. Seats in theater are stained and dirty. All fixtures in the rest room had an accumulation of gunk and filth. Floors in front of the urinals were wet and stained from urine. Condiment counters were dirty and crusty with food spilled and napkin holders were empty. Will never go back read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Shang chi was ruined because of the IMAX in the facility. Auditorium 6 was horrible. No air conditioning in this theater. Initially I really enjoyed this movie theater. I f I had writtten the review a few months back I probably would've given it a 4 or 5 star rating. It was clean, had IMAX, and was fairly less crowded. The last time I went, however, was pretty disappointing. We decided to go watch Avatar in 3-D and when we received our 3-D glasses the "clean" ones we waited for (since they ran out and would not open the ones in the package by the door) were filthy. It looked like someone ate popcorn and smeared the butter all over the glasses. Wiping them with napkins only smeared the greese. I don't like to write a bad review over one instance but I the place has gone a little down hill. I would have to say though it is much better than other theaters in the area. read more

The Orchard 12 is all right, but the ads are pretty absurd. I realize that they're doing ads leading up to the movie, though I wish they'd turn them down so I could actually have a conversation while they're spamming me. I enjoy a couple of trailers before a movie, but when I went to see Deadpool 2, they showed enough ads and trailers that the movie started *25 minutes* after the supposed 7:40 start time. I get that you're trying to make money any way you can, but have some respect for my time as a paying customer. read more

Crappy food that's over priced!!! I ordered a hot dog topped with hot Cheetos and they were stale!!! The concessions was dirty. Avengers, IMAX, and 3-D needed. Time constraints had to apply with my companion the night we went...so she volunteered to hurtle us (in style, in her Beemer ^_^ ) far, far north, past 98% of the great Denver area population, to...here. What can I say about it? Unlike the UA/Dave&Busters at I-25/Colorado, this is not a "you can't get a bad seat in this theater" IMAX venue. We had to sit on the very far left edge, not even in the same row, which is fine -- but with 3-D glasses on, the views were distorted, I'd say significantly, about 20% of the time. The D&B one seems designed like a hollow egg; this one just seems like someone threw an IMAX projector in a standard movie room and said "Hey, this is good enough." And for what they charge for IMAX -- it's really not. Don't get me wrong. It was ok...sometimes even pretty good. But not $17/seat IMAX 3-D good. Still, it allowed us both to see the movie we wanted the night we wanted to see it (since the aforementioned venue was sold out of their early show)...so...it's good. Just not blow-you-away good. And even being on the border of Southern Canada didn't save us, as we were hoping, from the theater being 99.8% filled to capacity. :p Arrive early, kids, if you're gonna do IMAX here -- no joke. read more

What is there to say about a movie theatre? Unless they haven't maintained the place, or if they just can't get the popcorn right, there really isn't much to complain about. You know you are going to pay an arm and a leg, so just suck it up and enjoy the show. This is how I feel when I go to AMC Orchard 12. We live in Aurora, so we only go to this theatre when we are with our son and daughter-in-law. However, we have never had a bad experience (except the time I thought it might be ok to order the chicken fingers from the concession stand. In one word - DON'T!). read more

It should be IMAX lite We went to see the new Skyfall movie in IMAX on a Tuesday night. The place was DEAD which is prefect for those weeknights where you want to take in a movie without all the high energy of kids and teenagers bring to theaters. The staff was friendly but they are also young so anyone who expects professional service from a bunch of 18-22 year olds, needs to rethink who they are working with. I puzzled me that some of the reviews talk about rude staff because it's not the theaters fault, it's that you're dealing with kids and results may vary. SO ... there were a total of six ppl at the IMAX showing so there was plenty of space for us to kick it. The theater is NOT like your typical IMAX and more like those Capri Theaters that Harkins has. However, the sound in this place was incredible and it's probably the best set up I've heard in a long long time. Even the previews sounded great. As we were walking out, two girls getting off of their shift and leaving the place told us to have a good night. They were off the clock and could have just looked the other way. Instead they were kind and I appreciate that extra gesture. All in all, I can't say I'd pony up $30 all the time for this IMAX experience but a here and there thing is fine especially if you don't want to battle the crowds. read more

Wow! Can't believe the prices here. I usually go to Harkins theater at Northfield because they have great prices on movies and concessions. Had no choice but to come to AMC today to see Marvel's Inhumans. Ticket price for matinee IMAX was ok at $14.62, but concession prices are astronomical! Over $6 for a regular soda and over $8 for a small popcorn!!!! No wonder no one else is here. I have the loyalty cup and loyalty tshirt for Harkins so I get a free medium popcorn and a soda for only $1.50 each visit! That's a great deal, why doesn't AMC have something like that? I hope I do not have to come to AMC again! Now, if AMC ever takes a course in economics and learns about supply and demand they will know that by lowering they will attract more people and sell more popcorn! Duh! Get it together read more

I enjoy going here. This is my go to place for IMAX and IMAX 3d. The place is clean and the staff is always great and courteous. Another plus is it does have a bar inside it so grabbing a few adult beverages is a plus. As with any other establishment, the prices for food and drinks are a bit high, but because it's located at the Orchid, there are plenty of restaurants around to grab a bite to eat before or after your moive experience. read more

We attend the movies quite often and try to avoid the "self-serve" ones, but this time we made an exception. After our visit yesterday, I will not ever go to the movies at this theatre again. We arrived at 11:30 a.m. for the movie. There were only 4 customers in the lobby at that time. We purchased popcorn and sodas, but when we went to fill our cups there were only small lids. I let an employee know that there were only a few small lids, no napkins to be found anywhere and that the entire self-serve area was very dirty and sticky. He proceed to get me two lids. He brought the wrong size and went back to get two of the correct size. I again told him that the entire area was very dirty and not stocked with napkins or lids. He didn't seam to care and walked away. When I was walking down the hall to the theatre it was also very dirty. Mashed popcorn everywhere. The restrooms were very dirty as well. It was obvious that no one had been in to stock or clean in quite a while. Two of the soap dispensers were empty. This experience made me remember why I do not go to self-serve theatres or self-serve check out lanes! As much as we love going to the movies AMC will not be one of them. Going to the movies is extremely expensive and the movie theatres are cutting out all forms of customer service. We should have waited until it was on video and saved the $70.00 and enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of our home. read more

Filthy! I see other reviews stating how clean the facility was but with my recent (12/27/17) visit the place was a mess. Trash cans overflowing, no napkins, popcorn everywhere, on countertops & floor. I won't even detail the mess the bathroom was in. Inside the theater, itself seemed to be okay except there was no place to put your trash since the receptacle was overfilled. There are plenty of other choices and I will be choosing differently next time I decide to splurge a lot of $'s to see a movie in a theater. You can do so much better! read more

I purchased the tickets online and pick them up at the door, no problem. My wife and I being senior citizens can watch the movies when other people are there. This was the case on a Thursday afternoon when we visited the theater. No line at the popcorn stand so we had the time to interact with the concessionaire, he was very helpful. Then on to the movie. There were a total of five people including us to see the new show, so we moved to the middle row seats and enjoyed the experience of 3D. read more

Came in for a movie around 7 pre bought tickets. Walk up to the concessions to check tickets because there was no ticket person. Order the normal over priced popcorn and soda no big deal. Girlfriend had to run to the bathroom and the lady working never gave us our popcorn or drink so I waited on the side and she serves the next people in line and gives them what they ordered, so I'm like maybe girlfriend had it with her and when she went to the bathroom. Nope she straight up took the money and gave us nothing so I go back up and get an attitude, I get it, it's late and you don't want to be here and someone probably called out. She then lets us know the popcorn is unsalted and unbuttered, awesome we'll do it ourselves. We get in the theater and I could almost see my breath it was like 40° in there. Movie was great almost just walked out and asked for a refund, but man I had such a great time with my girlfriend and we laughed about how bad the experience was that I gave them an extra star. Ok this movie theater has gotten so dirty!! I mean I know theaters get dirty quick all that butter and popcorn but the other theaters in the area are so much cleaner! So my latest bad experience here came when I took my girls to go see Smurf's, Showtime at 5:05, we show up at 4:45, the theater is still being cleaned? Ok so we wait, get inside and watch that stupid 1st look thing, then its 5:08 no movie just more of the trivia previews, ok 5:15 still not movie, all the kids in the theater are starting to get loud and a little pissed off. Finally a manager comes in at 5:20 to say they were having issues with the projector. You think she could have told us that at 5:05 when the movie did not start. So we waited another 15 or so minuets for the movie to start, finally it did, they then decided to fast forward through the previews, ok for me not a problem (I hate them), but for the kids of the audience this is a big deal my girls got upset as did most kids in the place. The manager looked at the pissed off kids and said in a very rude way, sorry have to so we can still clear the theater on time! Ok kids do not care or understand that, all they want to see is which movie they can drag me to next. Finally movie starts! As we left the theater the rude manager trying to fix the issue gave everyone a coupon for free popcorn with purchase, really! Wow I am never coming back here. read more

We took our granddaughter last night to Mary Poppins. The theatre was filthy. Trash cans were over flowing, the popcorn counters were soiled with butter dripped everywhere and straw wrappers. The theatre itself was even dirty. I had to use the men's bathroom and it was totally disgusting. As we were leaving, the strong stench of urine was present in the main hallways. Totally disgusting. Worst experience ever! Our movie was scheduled for 7:00. When 7:05 rolled around nothing was starting. I went out and let guest services know and they told me to wait 5-10 more minutes. After 10 minutes there was no change. I went to guest service again and they finally paged someone. After 5 minutes they came in and told us it would be another 10 minutes. After that 10 minutes they came in again and informed us that the movie wouldn't load and that they would have to refund our tickets. We spent 30+$ at the concessions to sit in a theater with false hope. When we went to get our refund they couldn't put it back on the card and handed us ticket vouchers instead. We needed up driving to another theater with our food in hand. I'm extremely upset with how they dealt with the situation and won't be coming back to that theater again! read more

I love this AMC. The IMAX is hardly and IMAX as far as size goes but it stil has the great sound and the better picture. Never too crowded unless it is opening night. I often go on Sunday morning for a show that came out on Friday for $6. No one is ever there since it is the burbs and everyone is at church. read more

Great theater... They don't keep it so cold that you need a coat (for dates, maybe this may be a con, as there's no "I'm chilly" excuse to snuggle up...) and they do not blast the sound so loud that your ears ring and your eyes tear. Very clean, concession stocks theater food - no shocks there! Staff is always friendly every time I go. Nothing that sticks out as "above and beyond" that earns the full 5 stars, but a fun, clean place to spend an afternoon. read more
