Good service, good people, good food. What more could you ask for in a neighborhood grill You can never go wrong here

We found North Side Tavern purely by chance when we were looking for a relaxing late lunch in Broomfield. We enjoyed our lunch so much we returned the very next day for a second lunch! First lunch, my wife went with the Chicken Tender plate subbing fries for a green salad. The tenders were just that..juicy and tender, fried to a nice golden crispy perfect. I settled on the Piggy Back Press which is their version of a cubano. Pulled pork, ham, and bacon all pressed and toasted in a nice baguette and I chose to have it with their sweet potato fries. Some of the best Sweet Potato fries I've had in a long time, the exterior was nice and crispy without being burnt, the inside was perfectly done and they stayed crispy through the entire meal, Next day we decided to return, this my wife being a cheese lover went with Colorado Cast Iron Cheese Dip adding in carnitas. Served with a basket of fresh tortilla chips, she thoroughly enjoyed her order. I went with the Tavern Burger w/sweet potato fries (they were that good) which was a Tuesday special. Burger was done well with a nice crust. I added some of the melted cheese from my wife's cheese dip and OMG that is a super combo. Overall great prices, generous portions, fast and friendly service makes this a must visit. I'd like to return at dinner to start working through their craft beer menu!

I've been here several times for dinner as it's close-by, it's a good spot to take guests with friendly service. We sat at the bar this time. Parking - there is a lot but it fills up when they're busy. Theres also some side street parking right outside. Food - Tavern burger - a bit underwhelming, the patty was pretty dry. Would skip this next time. Overall rating 3/5. Black & bleu burger - also pretty dry but was tasty with the bleu cheese. I'm 50/50 on whether I would get this again. Overall rating 3.5/5. (Previous visit) fish & chips - very good, although pricy, the fish was well cooked. Would get this again. Overall rating 4.5/5. Drinks - Mango mojito - very delicious! If you like fruity drinks, and rum, this is a great choice. Easy to drink. Would get it again.

Visiting from houston and my friend brought me here. Our waitress was very attentive and pretty funny. We started with the fried pickles. They were very good. I ordered the arugula and beet salad with grilled chicken. It was YUM! Friend ordered the piggy back press and she loved it. I recommend this place! It did not disappoint.

Real Good Food served by Real Good People. Nuff said. Glad to see not much has changed with new ownership.

From the moment we walked in and were seated at our table the service we received from Chantelle was over the top. She helped make are selections as this was the first time we were here. We ordered the Blackened Salmon BLTA and the Piggy Back Press with Sweet Potato Fries. All I can say is the food was totally delicious, the Service was Great and something you can't tell from the outside looking in, the Ambiance was from back in the day, just awesome.

I have been to North Side Tavern on several occasions and have enjoyed every visit. They have a nice menu with lots of options and they do specials during the week. Wednesdays are $.99 wings and they also do brunch on weekends! Definitely an awesome neighborhood spot!

I love a classic tavern that accommodates allergen needs! This family oriented pub offers gluten free fish and chips -- if you're craving it, check it out! Service was prompt (it was a warm day so we sat out on the covered patio) but it was busy for a weekday evening.

Clam chowder was insanely salty. Meat on the French dip was gristly. Expected a lot better quality for a $25 soup/sandwich combo.

In fact, we didn't eat anything that wasn't well seasoned, cooked to order and authentically British. Not an easy find, if you ask me. We sat at their bar, chatted with the bartender - who was really friendly and checked on us often. The place was packed, but we got in quickly and you'd never know they were popping. Their cocktails were amazing and after some chit chat about what I liked and didn't, the suggestions were fabulous. Loved the British decor as well. Such a fun place. The service is a little stiff and slow but what can you expect from a pub style restaurant. It can get pretty busy inside especially around holidays so definitely make a reservation if you plan on having a big party or don't want to sit at the bar. As far as English/Irish food goes this the only serious contender in the area, i haven't found another UK restaurant that quite mimics the pub atmosphere as well as this one. For once I can say that the burger that was served too me looked exactly as advertised online. Seating for 6 at best and mostly a counter and a kitchen. Is this in a location that is just a little unexposed to drive by traffic, yes. It is off Sheridan and 10th Ave between apartment buildings and houses not what you expect. As I drove up to the location it is in a building with an off brand convenience store and a dry cleaners with no other businesses nearby. It's not real inviting from the exterior or even the interior as far as that goes. This is a classic case of " don't judge a book by It's cover " or you'll be missing out on a real gem for customer service and tasty eats. We were greeted upon arrival by a very pleasant lady behind the counter. We took one of the three small empty tables and studied the menu. You order at the counter and most of the customer traffic while we were there was Doordash type orders and the to go orders were steady. My son ordered three tacos and a bottle of Coke. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon as the protein and smothered with green chili. This is rare but my son raved about the tacos, not just that they were good. He stated that he would definitely be returning to repeat the experience. He said he could taste every ingredient used to make his tacos. My breakfast burrito was very tasty, every ingredient was cooked to my expectation. The eggs were fluffy, bacon crispy but not burnt and the hash browns cooked to perfection. The star of this dish for me was the green chili that smothered an already delicious breakfast burrito. We both agreed this was one of the best lunches we have enjoyed over the years. Don't be put off by the location or the exterior, its worth a visit. The service was good, food was excellent, the place was clean and the prices were reasonable. I don't know the story behind this restaurant but I hope going forward they get good business demand because good food and good service should be appreciated. In the last three or more years service has certainly declined and good food is harder to find at reasonable prices. I will be back when I am in the area to try other dishes and my son who lives not too far away says it is his new taco place. I would invite other Yelper's to give it a try.

Mine had white cheddar polenta, Swiss chard with bacon, crispy chicken with gravy and chipotle honey drizzled on top. I also got a side of the tator tots that came with a spicy aioli. The meal was outstanding! I loved the variety of tastes and textures of the bowl. The honey on top was an added sweetness with a hint of heat. It was so good, as were the tator tots. The spicy aioli really added a kick and while the heat lingered a bit, it wasn't overpowering. We ended the meal with their donuts. They are cream filled with caramel drizzle. They are not too sweet and the perfect shareable dessert. If you are looking for something new, definitely try this place. I highly recommend!
