A good theater in a good location. In the heart of downtown, so shows in the later evening allow you get street parking. I've been going to this place for many years, and even signed up for the rewards a few years ago, and it's one that actually pays off with many perks and benefits It's clean, well lit in main area, comfortable seats, and pretty good sound. They do have the classic snack bar concessions where all your snacking and food desires will be handled. I will continue to visit this AMC when reason allows, although I'll admit travel doesn't always provide me the time. read more

An older location for sure. We walked here and took Uber after. Inside a mall on the top floor. We took the elevators up as some escalators were out of order. I've been here many times over the years and my most recent visit it looks exactly the same. Seats could be comfier and wish they had recliners but definitely aren't the worst. Staff were nice. Popcorn was tasty. Butter station was clean. The sound and screen quality was good. Overall we had a great time. We saw Exit 8 here on my birthday night and it was an amazing movie! I fear this is the worst theater I have ever been to. Our theater was on the upper level, but the escalator was broken so we had to take some sketchy emergency stairs. The second floor concessions area was completely closed. I tried to get extra butter for the popcorn, which we got downstairs, but no butter came out of the dispensers. We had purchased tickets in the last row of the theater, but had to move rows because some of those chairs had their cupholders broken off. The floors were dirty and sticky. Someone's chair was squeaking the entire time. Overall, this seemed like a very run down theater that I will not choose to go to again. read more

I went to see "Sorry Baby," and "Malice" a Chinese movie to use my A list Quota of 4 movies this week. I ran out of movies to see at the Kent and Southcenter AMC except for "Superman.," on Imax which was sold out. One Star since there was no Elevator or escalators running today July 10, 2025 . They locked the elevator which I don't know why. They did not have wheelchair access. But there is one employee in a wheelchair who takes tickets. But he works on the bottom floor. They made everyone walk up the stairs if your theater is on the upper level. Also if you wanted a beer or wine, you would have to walk up and walk down if your theater was on the bottom floor. read more

I've been coming to this location for more than 20 years when I'm in town. I always stay in Belltown or First Hill; so it's easy to walk here. Sure, it needs to be remodeled but the location is great. The theaters are clean, volume is good and they offer independent movies. On Tuesdays, tickets are $7 all day for AMC rewards members. Everything was fine but this was the smallest screen I've ever seen at a movie theater (auditorium 1). Compounded by the fact that the theater is very deep so sitting near the back the small screen looks the same as sitting on my couch at home watching my 77" TV. Sound was good though. Oh, there's also an Exit sign in the theater that's Homer Simpson radioactive bright green that interferes with the viewing experience. read more

This place is in a nice mall/plaza with nice gallery stores with local made jewelery, art and more. The theater is nice. But omg!! The seats in theater 3 must be about 20 years old. The first seat was almost on the ground, it was very uncomfortable. Thank goodness it was a good movie, Sinners. People should be able to choose their own seats, cuz it was bad. I've also not been to a theater with such small screen in this big room, an update is definitely needed. I mean I'd come back, it's 5 min walk, but it limits my movie watching. read more

Me and my son come all the time! Please read and consider my comment. Can you please put debit/credit machines on the game token machines for the Arcade? We can't use them unless I remember to bring coins or small bills because you don't exchange cash and no local business does either, you should just remove the arcade machines. As small as it sounds, we will just save the $40 we spend on popcorn, a sleerpee, and discounted tickets each time we go. Came here for an early screening of the movie "Spinning Gold". The crowd was full and pleasant. The person running this event was nice and got everyone in quickly, singlehandedly scanning people in. The theater itself was clean and the screen was good, I feel like the sound was bit low, maybe it was just me. Especially considering it was a Music focused movie feature. I don't usually do concessions at theatres, mainly for the prices but the curly fries here were very crispy, very tasty. Would've been great if they had a ketchup pump so that we're not fiddling with a handful of ketchup packets for a few dips for the fries. I do still enjoy catching flicks in theater occasionally. This visit was decent right in downtown and being a part of the Pacific place 'mall' helps so that if the concessions don't interest you, there are a number of restaurants to choose. read more

Came here on a weekday afternoon for a matinee showing. Parking is annoying because it's downtown (we just went into a garage). Tickets online do allow you to reserve seats, but no one checks seats. Volume in theatres is loud, but won't blast your ears. Huge bathrooms, lots of stalls. read more

We came to watch the new Tron movie and didn't realize how out dated and broken the seats were. One seat didn't have a cup holder, all of our seats were unstable, and the seats were extremely uncomfortable. This AMC theater needs to be updated for close down because there are other theaters near by with better seats and the same price. This was a beautiful theater, extremely clean, easily accessible, lots of great parking. The popcorn was fantastic, the movie theaters were impeccable. I happen to be visiting as my husband was on a conference and decided I didn't want to shop anymore and wanted to just sit down and relax. This place is an aging dump. The seats are literally falling apart with springs visible through what's left of the upholstery. I moved seats several times but they were all horrid. After an hour I was wishing I never came. Add the stale popcorn and broken escalator and you know beyond a doubt that you're never going back. read more

Recently came here to watch Barbie and the movie-going experience was pretty standard and no frills. Tickets were purchased online and there was a queue to get in to scan your ticket and enter the concessions area. No bag check takes place either. For movie theater seats nowadays, this AMC seems to be lacking with its competitors and even sister locations. The seats felt very much like sitting on an airplane seat, with no recline or larger seats that many theaters have begun adopting nowadays. Overall, I feel this theater is really seeing its age, despite it being located at the top of a rather up-and-coming downtown mall. Parking here is not free but it is an all-day rate, which makes it easier to manage if this location is your closest theater. read more

Lines food were extraordinarily long. Arrived to the showing 30 minutes early and spent at least 45 minutes in line, missing the first part of the film even when including previews. This AMC is located at the top floor of the mall. It's just an average AMC. It's smaller than others I've been to and it seems more outdated than others. Some of the theaters have a funky layout - like I went to recently for Barbie had a huge bottom level and then like 6 rows of stadium seating in the back. The bottom level is super long and no walkway in the middle so you might have to go through a lot of people to get to your seat depending on where it is. Concession stand is lacking - I think they have trouble handling large loads of people since they are not use to it. I got popcorn and it was the bottom of the barrel scraps at the bottom..... the Icee machines (out of 6 possible options) only had 1 option left and that quickly became unavailable after I filled only half of my cup. Meh - it's a fine theater for the Tuesday deals but otherwise I would not choose this theater. read more

This dim sprawling megaplex is a testament to how far the experience of moviegoing has fallen. It's cheerless, impersonal and uninspiring. The popcorn is not good but will likely cost more than the ticket. Your shoes may stick to the floor. read more

Yikes-- that's the first word that comes to mind for this AMC. We visited once to see Dune and felt we could barely hear the movie but wrote that off. The theater was a bit messy but we wrote that off too due to pandemic short-staffing. This weekend, we decided to give the theater a second chance and see a late showing of Oppenheimer. The best way to describe the condition of the theater upon walking in was, again, YIKES. Popcorn and trash EVERYWHERE... the stickiest concession floor I think I've ever seen... I felt so gross that I almost no longer wanted the food I preordered. We get into our theater on the second floor, 10, and it is SWELTERING. I'm talking far too hot to enjoy a 3 hour movie in a totally packed theater. Our Icees melted in the time it took us to decide if we could deal with this, about 10 mins. Where this theater gets 2 stars are their employees. They're clearly overwhelmed but trying really hard. Guest Services was totally empathetic when we asked for refunds (and we weren't the only ones). This AMC is a blight to the AMC name. read more

The staff could not have been less welcoming. When a customer approaches, at least say hello instead of giving a blank stare. We interacted with 3 employees and it was the exact same. I realize they would rather be doing anything else than be working but man. Just one hello or thank you from anyone would have been nice. Though by the 3rd interaction I would have been shocked. I went to this location for years and never had any issue until they hired someone who changed the way they serve the popcorn. The new person decided to pre scoop the popcorn and let it sit under the warmer and pop new popcorn for when they ran out of the pre scooped popcorn so I would ask them to get me the popcorn from the popper machine and the person would actually proceed to talk negatively towards me calling me picky eater and spoiled rotten and every time I would walk in for a movie the person made a big deal about seeing me so one day I decided to say yes I am a picky eater and the person started yelling and getting defensive started a scene and I walked away and then I was removed from the building by security and told to never return. I did return they fired the person and stopped pre scooping the popcorn so I told them thanks and they said if I had another issue with them I would be permanently banned I said it won't happen because the person is gone and the popcorn is back to normal service I went to about 5-6 movies there over a months time and then one day was told I could never come back again and so I go to Regal across the street with reclining seats and the popcorn is not as bad in terms of food poisoning (green poop/diarrhea) they also do refills on the icee if you ask nicely and discount ticket Tuesdays the pretzel is half the price as amcs too pfft I told amc pacific place they are racists and they didn't say anything besides "I'll get security". Go support Regal Cinemas they are the best quality theatre in downtown Seattle. read more

My son and I went here to see the movie "TRAP". We walked almost 20 minutes and use the navigation and still got lost at the end. I had to ask someone and they directed us to the shopping center. I hate walking downtown, it reminds me of San Francisco downtown. The theater looked nice outside but I didn't like the smell inside and the seat was old. read more

A lot of movie theaters for being in downtown Seattle. Theaters are big too, and if you get the right seat, it makes the viewing distance perfect. However, there are some points of concern: the seats are not very comfortable, don't recline, and the cushions are somewhat small. They don't allow for much movement. The close quarters with the person beside also make it hard to enjoy some free space. The seats/armrests aren't thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, which is a little concerning due to covid still being around. The movie theater popcorn and coke are still expensive enough to make you think twice. The bathrooms are not very clean either and don't have enough stalls to accommodate a usual after-movie rush. Overall, I would say that it is a good theater, but make sure to keep your mask on during the movie and keep your wits about touching things around. Pro Tip: You can take your snacks inside, so save a good chunk of money over there. Booking your tickets online may save you some money, too, by getting a better rate. read more

Watched Midway back in November,2019 and had a mediocre impression at this cinema. Better visionary screen compared to Regal. It's cool to see downtown skyline inside their atrium. Located at the 4th floor, so arrive early is necessary as it may take a while to get your tickets scanned. The concession had lots of snack and drink options under 10 bucks(the ice machine doesn't work occasionally). Also reserve the best seat and sometimes request a pair of special glasses they provided. Although it is a big chain this particular location feels so much more "old school" and fun than the usual updated versions such as we have closer to us at Southcenter Mall. It's got this whole "Pacific" theme going on which is actually really cool, with a giant wooden frame of sorts as the entry and interesting navigational looking designs inside. Right away was the smell of buttered popcorn like I remember it from going to movies as a kid. And a real person at the register. (Don't get me wrong I love the automated versions now but it was nice to talk to someone friendly and get the more traditional experience). Only drawback was this location has the same habit of not closing any doors even after the movie starts so the sound reverberates EVERYWHERE. There was a few homeless people there and one was setting up to sleep in the theater and she was very distracting. Staff said they can't do anything about it. When we were leaving there was even more homeless people in the bathroom and going through the garbages in the theater. They also don't have the reclining seats like other amc theaters. read more

THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU. if you leave anything behind, it will get thrown away. I left the movie within less than 5 minutes i realized my gloves were left behind. I immediately went back upstairs, I experienced horrible customer service from a curly haired blonde women, lost and found attendant. They will do nothing to help you or compensate you. I was so kind, yet the attendant was weak, and could not handle any kind confrontation/ conflict, even a simple question. I will never go back here or ever recommend to anybody. read more
